It was wonderfully savory and quite a large portion compared to the other pastries. Their drinks are also great and they seem to have seasonal drinks, like the cherry london fog. You order at the counter and the atmosphere makes for a low-pressure eating environment. It's very cool to know that the students working here are so passionate about what they're doing. We waiting for around 5 min for a person to serve us and she was very nice. We each got a sample flight of 3 wines for $15. Kinda expensive but I think it's reasonable for the area. We took our flights and went outside to enjoy the view and drink. I have to say, we did not love the wines haha. There wasn't any difference I tasted from a house wine at a restaurant to their wines. They just did not have a good body to them , at least the reds . My mom said the ciders were good. I didn't try any of the whites but maybe they were better? Fine, hand-crafted jewelry; sculptures in metal, wood, and clay; fiber arts; and watercolors stand out most for me. Kim Bazemore, the owner of Cog's Creek, is an open and welcoming personality. She has a clear respect and love of the arts evident in its presentation and depth.
