We had David cook for our 30th anniversary. He came over and made incredible food, better than we would have had in any local restaurant for sure on top of that, he served and cleaned up as well. Cons: did not deliver what was promised, late to deliver our charcuterie board as he was running errands for his wife, did not keep track of important details like our guest count. Promised croissants and muffins with our board and showed up empty handed, sans said items. I do not recommend this chef for anything of great importance like a wedding dinner. He may workout great for things that do not require attention to time and detail. He has good food but is generally just very confused and caused me stress on my wedding day. David's price point for a 14 guest dinner is too high for him to forget critical details and not provide food that was promised. read more

Chef David cooked us a 3 course meal for our elopement dinner celebration in Yosemite! Prior to the dinner, he offered a few menu selections for us to choose from based on what we liked. We were able to customize the menu even more to what we wanted! The meals were very flavorful and delicious. Most of my guests wanted seconds of everything (including the kids meals!). Chef David catered our wedding day dinner for our intimate cabin party of 25 and it was amazing! From the moment we first reached out, Chef David's communication was spectacular and in contrast to other chefs, he allowed us to customize the menu to our liking, including offering two different entree choices for the most important day of our lives. While we didn't do a tasting, his professionalism, flexibility, and experience led us to believe we were in good hands and he exceeded our expectations! He catered a plated appetizer of Vadouvan Spiced Shrimp Skewer with Coconut Rice, and Fresh Garlic Naan. For our entrees, we selected Beef Wellington and Ruby Red Trout. For dessert, we had a selection of desserts including a variety of cookies, croissants, pumpkin cheesecake, cranberry autumn bark...I'm not a big fan of sweets but I couldn't get enough of the Granny Smith Apple Tartlets. Most of the desserts were bite sized which made it perfect to try everything! We had a few extra plates made that were quickly snatched up while other members expressed their disappointment that they hadn't jumped at the opportunity - that's how delicious it was! Since the dinner, we've had multiple family members request his information even though most of us reside at least 4 hours away! Chef David welcomes helping with logistics as well, which saved us money, time, and headache. He was a delight to chat with as we finished preparing the room to welcome our guests.
