Online, Chef Cary's menu stood out to us among those of other caterers and we felt immediately felt comfortable after speaking on the phone with Colin. He was patient and guided us through the process in a down to earth manner. We never felt rushed or pressured at any point during the planning process despite changing the menu selection a few times. When the big day came, Colin delivered. The staff was professional, the beer was ice cold, and dinner was delicious. The food itself was wonderful and so many of the guests raved about how tasty everything was. I was also so pleased with other things as well. Chef Cary and his staff delivered a beautiful spread and incredible food for our wedding. He was immediate with his responses to questions and reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything squared away before the big day. The food was amazing and not much was left after the wedding - everyone enjoyed it and commented on how great it was. Chef Cary's Cuisine is an awesome caterer! I got their name because they are on the list of approved caterers at our temple. We needed a caterer for my son's bar mitzvah weekend (Friday night dinner, Saturday night party and Sunday morning brunch). Cary Eisen (the owner) was SO easy to work with! After speaking with a number of caterers who were unwilling to work at our selected venue for Saturday night (it was a nightclub we rented out that did not have a kitchen), I finally found Cary. Many caterers we spoke with did not want to work within our budget, telling us that we wouldn't get more than passed appetizers for what we wanted to spend, which was just crazy. The food did not have to be over-the-top, but we DID want it to be delicious and interesting to celebrate this special occasion. Chef Cary definitely delivered! We ended up doing food stations for all three meals, with the Saturday night being the "fanciest". We had a chef carving station of salmon, a mac-n-cheese bar (served in martini glasses), chicken, balsamic-glazed vegetables, mini desserts served in shot glasses, etc. The list goes on and on... We had gluten-free and vegetarian options for all meals as well as a completely separate kids buffet for Saturday night, complete with an ice-cream sundae bar for the kids/teens! Our Friday night and Saturday night events both had cocktail hours with passed appetizers before the main meal service, which was great (we even had separate "kid-friendly" passed apps for the kids/teen areas so our younger guests were able to have their own "cocktail hour" complete with non-alcoholic beverages). All of our guests raved about the food and everyone seemed to have seconds of at least one item! Nevertheless, we did not run out of any food, which was great! The servers were great and the buffet stations were set up beautifully and well-maintained throughout dinner service. They bussed the tables constantly and were very efficient. Our guests were well taken care of! They even provided a fabulous bartender (Tim) for our cocktail hour on Friday, who also did wine service at the tables on Friday. Tim set up the bar beautifully, making an artistic "arched" display of martini glasses overflowing with olives and a gorgeous display of our customized napkins. Best of all, their pricing was terrific and VERY fair, compared to other caterers in town. They also gave us a discount because we used them for multiple events during the same weekend, which was great. read more

Chef Carey's Cuisine was a preferred caterer at the wedding venue my daughter chose. I decided on this caterer after a positive meeting with the sales representative. The menu was good and I had promises of a delicious and beautifully presented meal. I was impressed by the presentation and quality of food at our tasting. CCC was responsive and accommodating during the whole planning process. I had a detailed contract outlining what I should expect. The caterer showed up on time and had everything prepared on time. The appetizers during the cocktail hour were good, but different than what we were served at the tasting. Then came the buffet dinner. I was in shock at how poor the dinner was. My guests even spoke to me about how lacking the meal was. The pictures you see online from CCC are not indicative of what will be presented at your event. I understand that the way a caterer optimizes his profits is by keeping the servings small but CCC took that to the extreme. The salads were supposed to be served at the table with promises of a pretty presentation. The plate it was served on was not what was outlined in our contract. What was supposed to be a delicious salad was basically lettuce on a plate. The salad was very different from the salad that was served to us at our tasting. It sat unnecessarily on the table for 2 hours prior to the guests sitting down. The artisan asparagus display consisted of asparagus in a silver chafing dish. The chicken was VERY different than what was served at our tasting. As I approached the chicken dish on the buffet table, the staff was dumping a chafing dish of small discs of chicken into the serving dish. I was so embarrassed. I might expect that at a cafeteria but not at my daughters wedding. The dishes should be artfully prepared in the kitchen and brought out to the buffet table. This was a dish that was supposed to be beautifully presented and topped with a relish. There was no topping and the dish looked and tasted awful. The beef tenderloin was good but each guest was served one paper thin slice (I, the mother of the bride and the one paying $3.95 extra per person, was served an end piece). The food was served sloppily which made everything so unappetizing. The potato bar was overcrowded and my guest gave up trying to top their potatoes because there was no room to put a plate down. I did receive a small portion of what was left of the wedding cake, but it was smashed onto a plate and wrapped with plastic wrap. We didn't bother to save it. The staff was not rude but there was nothing pleasant or helpful to say about it either. At what would have otherwise been the perfect wedding, the evening was tainted by a less than ordinary meal. I was contacted by the sales rep the week after the wedding asking me how my experience was. I sent him a detailed email referencing the contract to let him know how disappointed I was. I never heard back from him. Chef Carey called and left a message. I tried to call him back and had to leave him a message. I never spoke with them and have never heard from them again. I have never been anything but pleasant when dealing with anyone from CCC. It has taken me 9 months to write this review. I truly wanted to write a fair review. I know I rely heavily on reviews and feel it is my duty to write so others can take it into consideration when choosing a caterer. read more
