Sad to see a nice place like this get in such dire shape. The flavor variety and prices are comparable to other ice cream shoppes in the area, what used to set them apart was the speedy service and friendly faces behind the counter all that is gone now. The inside was decorated with Polaroids of patrons since they open all those years ago (a la Woo-hop in NYC) but that is also gone by the way side. I wish the new owner nothing but good luck and success in their future, I'll miss coming to this place

Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, considerate of my time, and genuinely friendly. The customer service was truly amazing. I ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake Latte, and wow... I was honestly surprised by how delicious it was. I genuinely did not want that drink to end and wish I had ordered another one to go. The atmosphere was also exactly what I needed. The live music created such a peaceful, relaxing environment. I felt completely at ease, almost like I was in my own little world for a while. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado egg toast with extra eggs on the side. I was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a picture, but it was absolutely worth mentioning. The flavor combination was perfect. At first, I thought the cream cheese and avocado together might be too much, but honestly, it worked so well. Simple, flavorful, and really satisfying with just the right seasoning. If you're ever visiting Calhoun or simply passing through like I was, I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try.

My only hang up is the use of AI for their online marketing. There's a lot of very cute, hand drawn decor in the restaurant. Human made art is always better, even if it's less flashy! It's always great to find spots that cater to people with dairy sensitivities or different dietary choices. When you enter, you wait in line to order at the cash register. Then, you sit down and they bring you your food. I ordered a vegan pizza and sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and service was relatively fast despite the place being packed! While my pizza was a bit on the greasy side (which I didn't mind in the moment), the flavor was really enjoyable. Unfortunately, after eating there, I felt unwell for a couple of days. I can't confirm my stomach upset was related to the pizza, but that was my experience. They also host live music on weekend evenings. It was a little louder than I prefer, but if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, that could definitely be a plus. The place was busy when I visited, which is always a good sign, and while I had to park up the street, the free parking was convenient. Overall, I appreciate that they offer inclusive menu options, found their service to be friendly and fast, and appreciated the clean restrooms, even on a busy night. One additional note: the logo features imagery that appears to reference a stereotypical Native headdress, and as far as I can tell, the business isn't Native-owned. It might be time to reconsider that branding choice.
