That delayed me there for 45 minutes while they went through their process to fulfill my order. But I was able to find the capon (denatured rooster) for sale there. It was supposed to have been fresh (it wasn't frozen when I bought it 2 -3 days before Thanksgiving). I didn't have a great experience with roasting it (my fault probably), but what I really hated was the $80.00 -- probably out of A & P's control. I think I am cured of wanting to roast a capon ever again.
