They have a surprisingly good selection of ethnic foods and spices and carry a huge array of local craft beer. They also have a bulk section that is much bigger than I would expect for a small hometown market. Their produce is always fresh which is something I can appreciate. Right as you walk into the store, there is deli which also offers a hot section things like fried chicken and corn dogs. If you are in the Stevensville area, this is a great place to pick up any grocery items you may need without having to drive all the way to Missoula or Hamilton.

Hidden Legend was a winery or meadery that I haven't tried before and I was instantly drawn in to it. Discovering new places to me is always exciting and keeps thing interesting for me. For Hidden Legend, Steve and I had their Apple Mead Cyser which was an apple mead as indicated in the title and in flavor it had a very noticeable presence of that fruit. It was almost like a cider as we kept it chilled like a dry cider but had the thickness of a mead which put a fun spin to the flavor profile. And of course the presence of honey was detected also like you should expect with a mead giving this particular mead a pleasant and natural sweetness. A very nice change of pace was achieved here and feel like a revisit of their other mead options should be in order.

In fact, we play a little game, guessing if they might have say, canned chicken gravy...and they have two kinds along with others. They also have a great snack bar serving sandwiches and some fried goodies. Just don't go there during school days as you will have to wade through the teenagers scarfing down chicken tenders and "jo-jos", local term for fried potato wedges. Ice cream, pizzas, coffees, wine and an eating area are there. Also coolers chock full of beer and a cooler with fresh eggs, milk and butter and next to it a produce section. And all in a small little building. The new owners have done wonders and are richly deserving of praise.

I'll start out saying that it's off the beaten path, lol, down a short path of the main road that looks like it doesn't go anywhere but it leads to this amazing building built by the owner of the brewery. The beer is all organic, with a small yet wonderful selection and you can tell it has been brewed with love and is great!! The Yippee IPA and the Ambitious Lager are both amazing. The interior of the building is a sight to see!! From my conversation with Jim (the owner) most of the material was reclaimed or locally sourced. It's absolutely beautiful! The ambiance is wonderful as you are sitting right next to the fermentation and brewing tanks and a wood brining furnace. The attention to detail that was put into this building is amazing!
