Ryan was our waitress, and she was just such a cool person. We really enjoyed everybody's positive energy and good vibes. Awesome food suggestions. We split a blueberry feta salad, which was delicious. My hamburger was tasty - made with Montana beef, topped with bacon and fried cheese curds. For $2 extra I got the garlic parmesan fries. Yum... My husband ordered the fish n chips, served crispy and hot, Sawtooth Ale battered cod. We washed everything down with a couple beers - namely their super popular Dirt Church hazy IPA and Huckleberry Honey Ale. On our way out, we bought a couple 6-packs for later; the brown haired lady that helped us at the bar was super cool and gave us a couple stickers. Overall, a great experience. Next time we pass through Hamilton, I hope to come back :)

I sell my pottery at the Hamilton Farmer's Market and Jennifer Holmes is usually there selling whatever is special that week. And we are talking about fresh stuff that was put together very recently. One of the items I sell is a brie baking dish, along with recipes and one of Jennifer cards. Think about it: You buy a brie dish which is great for company of just a pre-meal snack, of course with a bottle of crisp white wine, and walk down a few market booths and buy a super fresh wheel of brie to go with your new dish. What a deal. Jennifer suggests that her brie buyers come my way to get a nifty brie baking dish, so it is a nice courtesy we have going. Their products are shipped throughout Montana and maybe in your store also. Nice people working hard to bring nice stuff to all of us.

Higherground Brewing was yet another Montana brewery I got to try and it is always so much fun…read morechecking these places off my list. For this brewery we enjoyed the Hula Hopped IPA. I have distanced myself from IPA'S for a short time as they are everywhere but in late Spring and early Summer I have gotten a hankering for them once again and so here comes the IPA'S rolling back. Flavors to have fun with in this flavor profile here are hoppiness, floral, some maltiness and a sweetness of a natural sort. It was very refreshing and the color of the beer is nice and bright. I suppose that description could also be added to the flavor profile as well. A nice introduction into this brewery and hopefully further beer experiences with Higherground in the future!
