What kind of depraved person would want to ride in a car with a teenage boy with little driving…read moreexperience? The person must have patience, knowledge, and nerves of steel. This person was, thankfully, my son's driving instructor at Always First. Her name is Shannon Miller and I believe her experience raising two children and knowledge from being a school bus driver makes her an expert. Yes, Shannon had the skills, knowledge, patience, and fortitude to train new drivers, but how would she cope with a grunting teenager who might answer direct questions with a should shrug or monosyllabic responses? Perhaps she has magical fairy dust because each and every time my son returned from his driving lesson, he chattered on and on about the things he learned and the conversations they had. It was music to my ears! Shannon was able to turn my caveman son into a talkative and enthusiastic conversationalist. My son was my second child to go through Always First Driving Academy. I appreciate the services they offer. I would recommend you ask for instructor Shannon Miller - she's awesome!

I honestly believe thats why I failed my first road test. The instructors that thought pre trip and the yard maneuvers where excellent. You can tell that they truly care about your success, and they are invested in it. My hope is that the grant funding for this facility continues, and can impact the city immensely to motivate more investment in tech talent. During my graduation event, I was able to meet recruiters from several companies, plus Lieutenant Governor Jeanine Hampton, and Mayor Greg Fischer, who is a big proponent of the programs here. I would definitely recommend Code Louisville to anyone interested in a career in tech!
