We started with the spinach dip and I'm not even exaggerating when I say it stole the whole table. Creamy, rich, perfectly seasoned, hot, and addictive. Easily my favorite thing we ordered. The cheese curds were good, the salmon was solid, and the spasagna was giving cozy comfort-food vibes and was actually pretty good. I had the steak, and it was okay, not bad at all, just not the star for me. Overall, it's still a good restaurant with a solid menu and good energy. Definitely worth checking out. But if you go, do not skip the spinach dip.. that's the real main character. read more

Visited Cheddar's in Little Rock and it was extremely disappointing. The bar top was filthy, tables needed attention, and the overall atmosphere felt completely unorganized. What made it worse was seeing three managers standing around while the restaurant looked like a mess. As customers, we don't care about hearing that an Uber driver got free food or employee conversations -- we care about good service and a clean place to eat. The entire experience felt chaotic and poorly managed. Definitely not the level of service we expected. read more

The service was STELLAR!!! Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. The food was ok but unfortunately I had a seat that viewed the kitchen and the waiter/waitress staff don't use gloves or thongs when picking up the croissants from the warmer once their baked to bring to you table. And no one washed their hands before hand as I unfortunately saw them leave a table and go straight to the warmer . Hence why I stopped eating them and I love bread. The manager was onsite and was present so it's not a one day we do thing, it had to be the normal because of course people do better when managers are in the building normally, or so I thought. My daughter loves Cheddars and since we no longer have one in MS, she wanted to go. Again the staff was super friendly, service was amazing, food just was not it. Listen, I'm on a gal pal lady pants weekend and it was a travel day. My gal pal and I were STARVING so we stopped at cheddars. Have we ever been to one of these fine establishments? Nope. Would we come back? Immediately, yes. We got a honey croissant. Spectacular. I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Gimme 14 of them right now. First time eating at Cheddar's Scratch kitchen and these are my key takeaways. The croissants covered in a sweet honey butter glaze are a step ahead of Texas Roadhouse House rolls with their cinnamon butter. To test the alleged American Comfort food as advertised for my main course I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was tender and had a nice breading but lacked seasoning giving it no personality. The gravy was classic, not homemade classic but made from a packet classic. Mashed potatoes again very little to no seasoning. Last and definitely least was the side of green beans that i'm almost certain were made from a can, lacked any seasoning and they didn't even add bacon. The service was decent our waitress did what was expected of her but it seems as if she was assigned to too many tables to give us attention, not her fault definitely a management issue. The restaurant itself was very dark and felt like we were eating in Professor Snape's potions class. All in all for a chain restaurant it was pretty decent but wasn't given any reason to return other than for the croissants. read more

The histeest was full of energy, our server (Lisa) was amazing, checking on the table and refilling drinks without being asked. My party of three had a lot more food than I have in the pictures. Pretty good food, nothing fancy. The food was nice after eating hospital food for a few days.

Generally, OK. I like their country fried chicken, Have gotten it a little undercooked once. Good gravy. Avoid the mashed potatoes: looks like they make one huge batch early and serve it all day. Don't order the fried shrimp; frozen, batter falling off when you pick one up. I've had better fried shrimp at a Dairy Diner. Have their waiters/waitresses serving a lot of tables. I like the automated menu/game machine on the table. I can pay my bill on the machine including tip with a credit card without having to flag down a waiter or waitress. read more

This was our first time at Cheddar's and the service and food was amazing! The ambiance has a warm and inviting appeal. However, Elizabeth was the star of the show. Well if you are looking for a monte cristo sandwich keep looking a sad excuse for the sandwich you past . remember . A soggy cold in the middle mess. Asked them if they cold cook it a little longer in the fryer and they said they were out of them at 6:20 pm i hate being lied to . Overall it was fine. The food was meh but we were expecting that coming in. They were quite busy actually but the bar was completely open so we sat there instead of waiting 30 minutes for a table. It's funny how so many food items are named after other areas of the US, like Key West Key Lime Pie. I got the buffalo chicken wrap. It was huge! Definitly should have split it. Ariel was a wonderful server. She was very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout our experience. The food was perfectly prepared and service was timely. The restaurant was very clean. I had the Country Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli rice casserole. The chicken was cooked perfectly golden brown and delicious. I always love the casserole here. My wife had the Fried Shrimp Platter with Caesar salad and fries. The shrimp were cooked perfectly as well. No complaints at all. We will be back soon. read more

Ended up being our server but was appropriately courteous & attentive. 3/3 bread plates were dirty - one looked like it had chocolate on it - ugh! Quickly replaced but made us cringe wondering if dinnerware our entrees came out on were clean ‍. The Crispy Chicken Salad we loved when Cheddar's opened isn't what it used to be, with fewer ingredients, & even less salad greens. But the chicken which came in large strips, rather than cut, was hot & tasty. All diners in my party agreed that the salad dressings were dreadful - a sour, old tang with Thousand Island & Ranch & the balsamic needs to be replaced - syrupy brown stuff. There is a WHITE balsamic that is much more appealing bit regardless, balsamic is not a request for SWEET. Where did the oil & vinegar go? 4 diners ate their salad with NO dressing! The bread is still super yummy though half the size it used to be. read more

There was multiple hairs in my food for my Togo order, and when I asked for a refund the manager told me to leave the hairy plate in my car for 1-2 days, since I didnt have time that day because I ordered on my lunch break, so I could bring it back and get it remade. Cheddar! I've eaten here many times. Most likely this was my last. I'll not even touch on the food except to say, my wife liked hers, my grand-daughter liked hers and mine (the steak) my dog enjoyed. He was the only one with teeth enough to get thru the gristle. This location is absolutely FILTHY!! DO NOT SIT BY A WINDOW IF YOU GO. There are (literally) layers of stuff on all the blinds I saw. I travel very often and I'm not sure I've encountered this much filth at truck stops. Just absolute laziness and poor management. Who cannot see this?!?! Three (maybe 4) employees were sitting on their behinds -one booth over- when we were seated. They all should have had rags and buckets. Please, do yourself a favor.....find a truck-stop. We had never been to Cheddars before today but we had a great experience and will definitely be back. The service was incredible. You should ask for Scarlette. She was so sweet and so attentive and friendly. The tea was fresh and the food delicious. It was delivered before we even had time to finish our appetizer! The spinach dip was amazing. My husband had the country fried steak and it was huge, I had the Monte Cristo and it was also a hearty portion and tasted great too! We skip the restaurant area in favor of the bar area. Service is usually very good though the kitchen can be slow. The honey butter croissants are "ahh" and "mmm" inducing. The menu is diverse with huge portions although I doubt everything is made from scratch as claimed. Lots of side options. The bar area is usually quiet and comfortable with no blaring music to drown out the conversation. Parking is okay given the busy neighborhood. read more

On Sunday 17th we attended this restaurant, after a very long 2 hour drive and a hospital/surgery visit. We were sat quickly, the floor under our table and around the table was very dirty, the corners of the booth you could tell weren't been cleaned in months. I get to nursing home separate food and I have no potato soup but cheese dip. And it's written on container no cheese on potato soup. I call store and was transferred to go department. He was like it's not on order you didn't pay for it. I'm sorry. Didn't ask to replace the soup for inconvenience cause online error messed up. I specifically added it online pressed add soup then placed in remarks no cheese on potato soup. Now I have cheese dip no one can eat and not soup. I have to make extra trip to find soup for my mom. After this mix up I wanted to return entire order.i But my mom's nursing home is in Bryant. Extremely disappointed in service and glad I caught it before my mom ate it and got sick. I'm very upset about this that I want to return entire order but don't want to drive all the way back to Little Rock. If someone would have took time read notes no cheese and took time to use phone to call me to check order. When they read no cheese in potato soup it should have signal something is off with this order and not add something that a customer can not eat. Some type of cheese deep.
