So our lease was coming due (last May) so we went in and preordered a new Blazer! Sterling Grey…read moresomething or other. We ordered the Weather Tech, type floor mats- premium all weather and cargo mats, we ordered remote start and something else, all add ons. In May we were to receive our car. May. June. July... I called the sales man in August and told him to cancel our order, we were going elsewhere. "Oh the car JUST CAME IN TODAY"!! We drive in and see our BLAZER!! But... noooooooo! Our Blazer is 'in here'. A blue and a red one. "Ummm these aren't ours". Yes, the blue one... "I've never ordered a colored vehicle in my lifetime" !! Well yes you did! Floor mats? Um no Remote start? It's not on the FOB. Oh it's on the app. Hahahaha jokes on me I find out one rainy morning ! I have written to the dealership... I have talked to someone asking them to get my order out and review it ... We can't, you're salesman is no longer with the company ‍ So it's this many months later I get an email survey from General Motors. I tell them THIS SAME THING. Nada. So some company pockets the 'extras' We've leased three cars from Sweeney , but you can be CERTAIN we'll take our business to Columbiana, next time !! Paul and Mair Williams!

These facilities served #TeamSweeney well until 1986, when a new Buick Youngstown facility was built on Market Street in Boardman, Ohio to better meet the needs of the growing dealership. Our operations in Boardman include over 50,000 square feet of Sales, Service, and Office Space situated on 20 acres of land. Always focused on the Customer, we have been willing to change to meet the demands and lifestyles of our Customers. We have brought our Kia Sedona here twice in the last year for work still covered under on our soon…read moreto be expired warranty. Both times have been a great experience. The first time was for a noise coming from under the hood that ended up being a loose bracket for the a/c. They fixed it and they even replaced our wheel covers of which are covered under the warranty. We didn't know this but the friendly staff told us they were and replaced them. Also, the back seatbelt that my kids use was locked up and they had to replace some sort of gear or something of which they did the same day as well. Pretty cool. Today, my wife took it there because our windshiled wiper motor went bad and something's going on with the powersteering. They replaced the wiper motor and told her that they had to order the parts for the rack and pinion which is making the noise we hear. They were nice enough to tell her that when the parts are shipped in, she would need to drop the car off and come back to pick it up as the work will take several hours. Fifth star evades this review as both times we had an appointment for the work but ended waiting approx 2-3 hours anyway. I know a wait is expected but why make an appointment? Anyway, other than the wait issues, we have found something great in this dealership.

I normally don't write long reviews, but my experience with Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman was so…read moredisappointing and stressful that I feel compelled to warn others. What should have been an exciting purchase turned into a two-week nightmare -- one week just trying to complete the deal, and another week waiting for the dealership to finally release my approved, paid-for vehicle. During that delay, I was told I'd still have to pay for the days I didn't even have the car in my possession. My experience with sales associate Christopher Kenney, finance manager Heather Marino, and general manager Melanie Yesovich was marked by misinformation, unresponsiveness, and defensiveness. I was repeatedly pushed aside, ignored, and treated as though my time and business didn't matter. Even after paying my down payment and signing the paperwork, they refused to release the car, citing "funds clearing" from the leasing company -- which makes no sense for a lease. When I raised the issue, I was offered only $40 compensation and told to sign a release form that would have silenced me from ever sharing this experience publicly. I refused. The only person who showed any professionalism was sales manager Mark Dickerhoof, who listened, treated me with respect, and ultimately honored the national offer I was initially denied. Unfortunately, every other part of this dealership failed to deliver even the most basic level of customer care. As a former licensed car salesman at Klaben Ford and Lincoln and a recipient of the Key to the City of Youngstown, I know how customers deserve to be treated -- and this dealership fell far below that standard. If you value honesty, professionalism, and respect, steer clear of Ken Ganley Kia of Boardman.
