I'm really kinda upset and disappointed at this Rx. I've used it plenty of times especially now…read moresince CVS has cornered a lot of the market and insurance isn't paying for where I'd really prefer to pick up my meds (Kroger). I normally don't have much issue. They can be busy and therefore slow in the drive thru from time to time. They seem definitely slower if you go inside. I've waited at the drop off counter FOR-flippin-EVER before! My latest pickup experience has truly soured me. My doctor called in a lot of medicines (7). One of which was an injectable shot, new prescription. 100% sure it said that on the paperwork, as usual. I was handed a bag full of medicine with no mention that the shot needed to be refrigerated. You cannot assume people will know this! I took my medicine home and put the bag down. I only realized the medicine needed refrigeration because of YouTube!!! Long story short the Rxist told me to call my insurance, I called the Rx benefits on the card (which was basically CVS) and the guy said they need to put in a rejection claim and trade out the boxes. I called the Rx back, they said bring the medicine back in. It was late and I was home so I didn't go that night. When I tried to take it back and handle it, I'm told I have to pay another copay. Back and forth...call benefits again, new person tells me I see what they did at the Rx store but you have to pay the copay again. At any rate, I think the Rx to be much more at fault than me just handing me that medicine without counsel. Then I would have known to not allow it to come to room temperature. There was one employee that was really trying to be helpful. I don't remember her name (think it started with an A) nor could tell her ethnicity, gave me a slight Middle Eastern or Indian vibe. She was really nice. She also told me most of those types of meds need refrigerating. Well, y'all know that but I don't work in a Rx but the time to tell a customer that is at pickup. I know I don't go home right away rushing to take meds that aren't pain related and looking at the attached paperwork. I'll take some responsibility for not doing so right away but only SLIGHT! But shame on CVS, they not only told me to contact my insurance but the second Rxist when I went back told me to contact the manufacturer. How about y'all take some responsibility cause most of it is on you!

Oh man, I thought I'd live in Buc-ee's when I bought my home in Cypress many years ago. I just…read moredidn't realize this location wouldn't give me even 25% of the feels of the large stores. I mean...even the brisket sammiches taste different here. This is one of their smaller locations, so it feels a bit different from the bigger stores most people are used to. Basically, this is a gas station with a lil something something extra. The brisket sandwich wasn't as good as the big stores. It just didn't have the same flavor or quality I've come to expect. They've changed the ordering process over the years. Idk exactly when since Ive been mostly living in FL for work but before you'd order at a kiosk and get a ticket, but now there's at least a register at the counter, which makes things a bit more straightforward. Outside of the food, it still functions mostly like a typical gas station stop. Gas prices are generally better here, and the fountain drinks and ICEEs are still cheap. On my last visit a couple weeks ago, they didn't have the cinnamon rolls with nuts and staff mentioned they weren't sure when certain bakery items would be back. That was a bit disappointing since those are usually part of the appeal. Overall, it's still a convenient stop, but just know this location doesn't hit the same as the larger Buc-ee's stores. Manage your expectations but it stays crowded and you can still get some of the most popular Buc-ee's items.

My previous review was deleted so rewriting. Since moving to…read morethis area, I've visited this Walgreens and had no issues. However, recently the pharmacist (young white male) was unprofessional and inconsiderate of continuity of care. I recently received medical care at the near by hospital, Memorial Herman ER and the doctor submitted by medication prescriptions to Walgreens for pick up the next day. The next morning I called check the status of medication and the automated serviced mentioned that my medication was being "worked on" and I would receive a call once it's ready for pick up. Later in the day, I contacted Walgreens to check the status of my medication and was told no medication was pending. I spoke to a staff member and explained my situation. I was told to return back to the hospital to ensure to prescriptions were sent. I returned to the hospital and spoke with the charge nurse who confirmed my prescriptions were sent the night before. I went to Walgreens and informed the pharmacy of what occurred and provided the Charge nurse contact information to follow up. Needless to say this was a frustrating process as I had to play the middle "man" with providers to get my medication. Despite the Charge nurse confirming the prescription, the Pharmacist was adamant that he needed the doctor to resend the prescription. I contacted the hospital and was told the doctor would return for shift until 9pm. The Charge nurse was apologetic and expressed frustration with the pharmacist handling of my situation. Prior to the Pharmacy closing, I continued to call to follow up on whether the doctor resent medications. I spoke with the Pharmacist and he stated, I'll fill the prescription but if you're not here before we close, I won't be here". Again, I had been on stand by awaiting to pick up my prescription and live 3 mins away. His statement was unnecessary, unprofessional, & inconsiderate. This was disappointing and overall reflect the importance of not expecting others including health professionals to care about you. You are your biggest and only advocate.

I'm asked for my ID as always but this particular time my ID would not scan. After 3 tries, the cashier (Tall, blonde, maybe about 18-19 years of age) hands my ID back and says "It's not scanning which likely means it is fake" I am 27 years old and although that may be protocol to not sell if ID doesn't scan (which i TOTALLY understand) Her approach and response was completely inappropriate. I was embarrassed to say the least. So I tell her that this isn't fake and to scan again until it goes through. She then says "well maybe it's not scanning because it's an out of state ID" and THAT should have been her response from the beginning. What makes her even THINK to say "It's not scanning because it's most likely fake" I hate to make this a race issue but I am pretty sure that is why. Again, I come into this gas station ALL the time and get my ID scanned with NO issue. I'm very disappointed.

My appointment was at 5:30 PM and I arrived at approximately 5:33 PM. There was a line of 4 people so I went to the empty consultation window to check-in for my booster shot. I was greeted by a young Latina woman who said her name was Kim with, "What!" Obviously, I was shocked to be greeted in such a rude way but tried not to take it personally. I told Kim that I was there for a booster shot. She then said, "you need to book online, we don't take walk-ins", then tried to walk away. I then told her that I had an appointment at 5:30 to which she replied, "then you need to go to the back of the line." Again, I did not take this personally and went to the back of the line where I waited for approximately 20 minutes to be served. While waiting, I noticed that Kim seemed to be in a visibly horrible mood. I was in the line waiting for a while and paid attention to her helping customers at the drive-through. She seemed to be rude and extremely combative with every customer that she helped. I began to think, "how can this person be working with pharmaceuticals or at a pharmacy in general?" Still, I didn't have the time or care to concern myself with complaining about how she treated me or the other customers that I saw her deal with. I just chalked it up to her having an extremely bad day. Once I got to the counter, I was served by a Mr. Long. I gave him my appointment information as well as proof of my previous COVID-19 vaccinations. He then began to ask a lot of questions trying to gather information about me (My email, phone number, address, date of birth, general practitioner, occupation, where I work, etc). I work for a high-profile company that battles companies that use and steal people's personal information for profit, so I never feel comfortable giving out any of my information. Even the information noted above and below the body of this letter. Going further, I know from previous COVID-19 vaccinations that Mr. Long did not need a majority of the information that he asked for. Because of this, I declined to give any of the information that he asked for. Mr. Long calmly and respectfully moved forward with trying to make my appointment for me. He then asked for my ID. Unfortunately, I only had my passport on me so I allowed him to see it. After holding on to my passport for approximately 5 minutes, I asked if he was done with it as I have lost and/or misplaced IDs this way several times. Hence the reason I did not have my driver's license on this particular day. By this point, I had completely forgotten about Kim. Like an angry dog, Kim aggressively came at me raising her voice at me yelling, "what is your problem!? He's not finished with your passport! You will get it back when he's finished! You need to stop causing trouble and let him do his job! This is what you get for declining to give us your information!" Obviously, I was shocked to be getting talked down to like a child when I am 47 years old by a woman 'seemingly' half my age. I calmly told Kim, "look, I am talking to this gentleman. Do you mind?" Kim got even more aggressive with me and said, "I don't care who you're dealing with! I'm talking to you anyway! So what!" At this point, Mike came from the back and yelled, "calm down!" at me to which I replied, "I'm not the one being aggressive. I can't believe either one of you are talking to me the way you are." By this point, I was shaking with anger and confusion from my Aspergers syndrome condition. I started to get dizzy from all of the aggressiveness coming at me. I'm a good and decent human being yet it seems that people always judge me or make assumptions about me due to my appearance, skin color, and slight awkwardness due to my condition. Luckily, Mr. Long was finished with my passport and gave it back to me. He also gave me a document to fill out so I sat down to do so. I was so dizzy and confused at this point that I started to get uncomfortable. I started thinking, "why would I get a vaccine here? these people are going to try and inject me with something that will kill me." At that point, I walked to the counter and told Mr. Chris Do that I had decided not to get the booster at Walgreens after waiting for over a month. I asked to make sure that all of my information was deleted and Mr. Do appropriately crossed out my booster confirmation for that day. I then left the store after being in there for approximately 50 minutes. As of Saturday, January 22nd I started to feel very ill. By Sunday, January 23rd I tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time. I've never been this ill before and I'm very scared for my life. My family thinks I should go to the hospital considering I'm so ill and I think I will. It really sucks that this could have 'possibly' been avoided with better customer service from Kim and Mike.
