Then we were told we'd could keep the plate. I asked about a refund on the prior registration as I'd been told by the MVD they would credit the unused portion as we'd just updated the registration a bit over a month ago. The clerk here said we couldn't do that. The cost she gave us was over $100. I realized that was ridiculous so canceled the transaction and drove to the actual MVD on Shannon. Long story short. The actual cost was about $60. They immediately credited the old fee and so the final cost was about $14. NOT over $100. Be very wary at this business. The MVD can be a wait but it's better than paying nearly 10 times the legitimate cost!

As their rates should be standardized based on type of check and amount, there is no reason to run the customer in circles. "I can assure you we have the best rates in town," is not an answer to the question of your pricing when a customer is trying ti justify driving 20+ miles out of their way to do business with you. No matter how many times you repeat it.

So i started to complain because when i googled it, it simply says you can get up to $20,000 in person at a branch, plus i remember getting 17k a couple years ago to buy a car. But then rudely kept saying "oh wow you didnt know that was a rule" like im an idiot for trying to get my cash. Proceeded to give me 12k. Ok.... What happened to being only allowed to give me 10k 60 seconds ago before i started complaining? Couldn't spare the other $500 ? But apparently this notary only does "notaries" certain days of the week and only from 2pm to 4pm. No where on the chase website does it say that. So it's clearly made up by their notary. They told me to go to FedEx to get a notary. I called the nearby FedEx. Guess what... they don't have a notary. So I called a different Chase (Marana location) and asked about notary services. They're happy for me to walk in at any time during business hours to see their notary.
