Luis notified us of a few other optional concerns on the van and when I asked how urgent the timeline is if we wanted to delay these repairs, I genuinely appreciated his honesty because he helped us assess that the break repair was more pressing than the shocks. Knowing the impact of delaying these repairs is helpful to prioritize as customers. In terms of their prices, they were competitive with others too. At first they agreed to make this right, but now they refuse to give us their insurance information so that we can file a claim with their company, they refuse to refund the money we paid for the work they did on the car. They won't pay for a rental car either because we are down a car. They refuse to pay the money for our van, the urgent care visit that my husband had to go to for the burns on his right hand, and the wages for the 3 shifts of work that my husband missed due to this incident. My car was running fine prior to leaving it with Luis at R&L. My husband works for the South Bay Union School District and Luis and R&L Performance work on their trucks. I would surmise that maybe that should be reconsidered. I would not take a car to them in the future. Save yourself the frustration and aggravation. Learn from my experience.
