Refinanced loan online could not read the fine print because it was too small. Thought it said…read moreregular payments of $194.59 every 2 weeks or 52 payments. When my next payment came around it was the same payment of $194.59 so thought I had clicked on regular payments. I continued to make my payments on time for 12 payments before I check to see what my balance was. When I checked my balance it said it had only gone down $500, when I had already paid in over $2,500 in payments. When I went into the store to talk to customer service the lady told me I had signed up for 52 payments of $194.59. which meant I was being charged over $6,000 in interest. This is a warning to make sure you read the fine print carefully before you sign.

ZERO STARS!! I've been going to Central Finance since maybe…read morearound 2003, when it used to be on the other side of the shopping center and I've worked my way up to the max of $1,500 and made my payments and paid it off and hardly late but I always paid the fee if any. Usually around Xmas time I take out the max and around income tax I always paid it off, then in summer of 2023 I called to see if I can just borrow $500 and they put me on hold after taking my information and then another girl gets on and she says she the manager and very snotty she says they are unable to help me and I ask why and at that time I was in between jobs so I take it they ran my credit and was like okay I get it but why be snotty about it and I ask again who she was and she kept say I'm the manager and I finally ask for her name and she said Veronica and I just hung up and left it like that... Today I called because something unexpected happened and well I printed out my check stubs and was ready to give all my updated information, but when someone answers and I explain I'm needing to reopen a loan that I had for years and she tells me that I called less then 6 mos ago and if I'm sure if I want to try again and I told her yes then she puts me on hold then here comes the manager on the phone telling me I'm denied because my credit wasn't good and I told her yeah I know my credit isn't good but I always had called in the past and they would tell me to take in my pay stubs showing proof I'm still working and current utility bill proving where I live and with the same snotty attitude says they are finance with the bank and that's how they get their money. I didn't want to get into with her because she sounded the same snotty Veronica I spoke to months back, it's a shame that I've been doing business here for years and seen so many little girls come and go and wasn't hard for me to get money because I build my history with them but I guess that doesn't matter here but what's makes me angry that they are not professional at all about it and have a shitty attitude, well glad I was able to get help from another company that I build history the same time as I did with this company.

Being able to pay online is a joke!!! and all there little added charges , never again!! Then you call and they tell you that you can come in to pay for free but they do not have very many branches so they are all a drive not convenient in the slightest. Thank goodness I was able to get away from them and refinance my car at a different credit union. I will forever warn family and friends to stay away from this place!!! Oh and the people making the 5 star reviews yall sound like you work there trying to boost your crap reviews by going on here complimenting yourselves, why dont you just try to do better??
