This is a spectacular building - with the architectural design & color known to Duke Systems. Several spacious accessible parking spaces right in front of the entrance.Under neath the accessible parking sign it said"Do not fall- we are here to help" &a number was provided. After calling the number- in short time - the radiology technician came with a wheelchair- Jennifer is her name - she was the epitome of excellence in customer service. She was kind, patient professional- she completed the X-rays & wheeled me back to my car.The interior of the building has clean lines - numerous office spaces & exam rooms noticed as well as bathrooms- everything looked so clean well laid out. From the lady that secured my appointment over the phone to the person I spoke to about securing the wheelchair to Jennifer I felt safe & valued. Noted this is an 8a-5p M- F clinic providing awesome service to the community & surrounding areas. This location is very near Interstate 1-85 exit 206 Oxford NC - near other customer services.

Alexa Namba, DO is the best. She takes her time with you and always responds to mychart messages in…read morea timely manner. I have yet to meet a doctor this thorough and she knows her stuff. She does not sugarcoat and tells you just like it is and how it needs to be in the must professional way. That's what I love about her. If she's running behind she sends her Medical Assistant in to inform you she is with another patient and will be right in. When she walks into the room she apologizes for the delay and the room lights up. She is so worth waiting for. Dr. Namba I really do appreciate you and I've told you this several times but also wanted the world to know.

Went to the Oxford office this week and saw PA Kevrin Johnson. I recently started having severe…read morenerve pain down my right leg due to Sciatia (L5-S1 disk in my case from previous x-ray/MRI). I previously was prescribed prednisone in a 6 day stepdown from an earlier visit with EmergeOrtho and halfway through the stepdown the predisone level of 30mg/day did not help with the nerve pain at all which is why I scheduled a followup with EmergeOrtho and saw PA Kevrin Johnson. He provided a shot of Toradol, (which I appreciated, but has not helped in the last 28 hrs) ordered an MRI, along with Gabapentin (which I just started 12 hrs ago) and said that he would call in a 12 day prescription of Prednisone so I could do 2 days at 60mg, 2 at 50mg, etc. (his words). I went to the pharmacy and this is not what he called in. We (Kevrin and I) spoke on the phone and when I asked what options I had to help with the severe nerve pain until the MRI and follow up with the Ortho Dr. for a more long term solution that could be had...he said to take Tylenol and has refused to call in anything additional. This leaves their patient with 2 weeks of severe, debilitating nerve pain. Sadly, its easier in this country to be over-subscribed Opiods than to be prescribed something as simple as a higher dose of prednisone for a short period of time. I was not interested in pain meds of any type, I simply was asking for something that Kevrin acknowledged was one of the only options that actually helped in these cases and was given no help and no other meaningful options.

I broke my wrist and went to the ER at a hospital in South Hill for x-rays. I was referred to…read moretheir specialist for surgery. However, he was out of the office for several days. My wife had been happy with her experience with Emerge Ortho (Oxford) physical therapy, so I decided to give them a try the next morning. They performed x-rays and referred me to one of their surgeons, Dr. Takenaga, who operated at the NC Specialty Hospital in Durham. They turned a bad day into a good experience. The surgery was quick, painless, and I was happy with the end result. The PT afterward went well. Emerge Ortho, their surgeon and the NC Specialty Hospital staff have my 5-star rating. I highly recommend them.

Back when it was Henderson Family Medicine and there were fine doctors there like Dr. Bill Dennis,…read moreit was an efficient and extremely good medical office. Today, it is not even a step above my Veterinarian office. You cannot speak to an in-house person. When you call their local phone number, you get an out sourced calling station run by incompetent people. One day I was disconnected 5 times, and no one ever called me back. The medical staff leaves a lot to be desired. The only reason I continue to go to DPC is the Laboratory Staff. Donna and Samantha are the very best phlebotomist in Vance County, plus I can get my lab results quickly in DukeMyChart.

Incompetent morons. Doctors/nurses are simply not capable of doing their job. When confronted with…read morea problem in their service, they continue to claim they have done nothing wrong, when it is quite obvious they have. The complaint has to be risen to the level of their "risk management" department, which is another name for "please don't sue us" department. Doctors won't bother to look at records from previous providers, and insist that you see another "Duke" specialist for no other reason than to charge more money. If you have complete, recent, and accurate medical records in your hand, they will literally refuse to see it. Due to the fact that Duke staff cannot acknowledge their own mistakes, I will be forced to make a malpractice complaint to the NC state medical board. I strongly suggest you research any doctor you might try to see here, and check if they have any other malpractice complaints filed against them. Also, the Duke website describing their doctors and nurses always gives them a 4 or 5 star rating, but it is clearly fake because nobody is allowed to leave their own rating on the Duke website. Where did these ratings come from if I cannot leave my own review? Check any other third party website and the same doctor will have a 2 or 3 star rating, at best. Additionally, wait times are unacceptable, the building is dirty and not well kept, and the office staff is totally clueless. One star is more than they deserve, but it's the lowest option I can give.
