Nick has a fantastic eye to maximize efficiency and beauty in small spaces, and placed spice racks in my kitchen I never would have thought of! Prior to the job, we talked and decided on the look I wanted, and he gave me some great suggestions. He never tried to oversell me on any part of the project, which I really appreciated, but he will give you his expert opinion when you ask for it - and I did, several times! He is big on communication and lets you know what is going to happen next. His crew did a very professional job of cleaning up the work spaces as we were living in the house when the renovation took place. I get soooo many compliments on both my kitchen and bathroom. I would would use them again on any other major project. I am very particular and pay attention to detail and Nick and his crew made sure I was happy.

IF I COULD GIVE O STARS, I WOULD…read more When we met with Nick Sanchez, he told us he would restore our home to its pre-loss condition. We trusted him to complete the job. Instead, he abandoned the job during my pregnancy and shortly after we had paid him more than $19,000, leaving unfinished work and subcontractor issues that needed correction. He informed our insurance company that the project was 98% complete, even though work remained unfinished and some work required correction. He later filed a civil lawsuit against us seeking payment that we dispute, including amounts we maintain had already been paid, mitigation payment, and amounts for work that was not completed. Before he abandoned the job, at his direction, we met his wife, Carmen Fimbres, at their bank to deposit a check payment. The check was processed, and we have documentation of that payment. The amount is nevertheless included in the money he is seeking from us. Communication was also difficult. He expected his calls to be answered immediately. On more than one occasion, after I returned his call, he spoke to me in a harsh, raised tone and said, "Do you have a problem with me?!" We are now dealing with the stress of an unfinished project and a lawsuit over money we believe was already paid. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Nicholas Sanchez Jr. or NS Construction.

Movers were lost and didn't show up until ten because they got lost. It took them 2.5 hours to load up a (later found out 2 rooms) of three bedroom apartment in Heber and move it to El Centro. It took 1.5 hour to unload the items from one truck. I returned to the apartment and they left two rooms full of furniture. In 4 hours worth of work I would expect it to have been completely empty and moved to the new location. I don't know how a moving company fails to move all the furniture. They only moved half the furniture. I would NEVER hire Daniel's Movers again in the future. I am extremely unsatisfied and angry that I have to hire a uhaul because the movers did not complete the job. A larger truck should have been provided to ensure the work was completed in the time allotted. Never again.

He connected me with several strong contractors to provide quotes, and I ultimately went with one of his recommendations. Throughout the process, he was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions, everything from selecting the right type of turf for my toddler and a potential future pet to ongoing care and maintenance. He went above and beyond by dropping off samples, clearly explaining the differences in materials, and even flagging things I had not considered, like recommending gopher wire installation based on my area to help protect the turf long term. What really stood out was that he checked in after the installation to make sure I was happy with the final product, even though that was not part of his scope. He also provided turf for my best friend, and they are very happy with the product as well. Highly recommend Cali Synturf to anyone in San Diego or the Imperial Valley looking for a reliable turf vendor.
