We were the only ones in there and then two others joined us. I would NEVER suggest this but what I thought was random became really uncomfortable as a worker seemed to follow us in each room. My son was in one room, my little one in the kids section with me and my husband looking around. She just kept popping in and not asking if we needed help but just watching us. I didn't have a purse or a bag with me. I am darker and my husband and kids are lighter. I was going to brush it off when my little one went to pay for us books and then sat in the front room in the couch. It was just us and here she came again but sat down her laptop across from us. Now I am a mix of annoyed and pissed off. Would you like for us to spend money there or make us so uncomfortable we leave? My oldest picked up on it and asked what the deal was. I finally said out loud to my husband "why does she keep following us in every room?" I didn't want to make a scene so we went across the street and enjoyed some yummy goodies. I have no idea what that was about but that was the worst experience I've ever had in Chattanooga and we were from NYC. Please do better!'n

If it comes to a situation where they do not know something, they will do their best to find out for you.  When I was looking for a certain book and couldn't find it, I came to find out that by telling them what I was looking for was not available. I was assure that they will do their best to get it for me. [It's not a guarantee but I appreciate the attempt]  While I was there, I saw the library had numerous of children's programs. From books, to movies to learning materials.  I also learned they have free movie days, dog therapy days, fun activities for everyone. These are just a few of the things they offer. Collegedale Public Library may look small, but it has so much to offer. For $1, you can have access to internet for 2 hours. For .10cents you can print a page. You can fax as well.  Overall, it's a great public library.

The property sold some years ago and was purchased by the college. The college has about 1000 students each year who attend the four years of college there. We enjoyed lunch looking out over the valley and areas below while eating a picnic lunch! It was so enjoyable! It's a nice vibe here because it's nestled right in the heart of the city. But, you can easily reach a huge greenway along the river, the art district, or walk across a long pedestrian bridge to shopping and parks. As a place to be a student, I found it to be pretty good overall. Now, with 25 years passing, I have no idea if the professors or education are like the past. But, I think the UT system does a decent job. I was well prepared for the future -- attending higher ranked graduate schools. UTC is what you make of it. Overall: Worth checking out if you want an urban campus that's not overwhelmingly big.

I love this library. This has been my main library since I moved within the county and I think it's…read morepretty neat. There's many seating options like tables and cubbies. It's clean and spacious. I love the large windows and natural lighting. There's a large book selection and whenever I'd need help finding a book, people were friendly. Everytime I would swing by though, it seemed like the coffee shop wasn't in use or opened. Maybe I would just come at the wrong times, every time. For the most part, their emails and text messages would be reliable when my books had to be renewed. But for some reason, I never got a reminder like I'd always get and I received a text that my books were overdue and I had fees. I went online and couldn't renew my books or even call in because it was a holiday and the library was closed. So I called when I got the chance after the next few days (it was a holiday WEEKEND, just my luck) and I was told that sometimes patrons don't receive renewal messages. I was also told that I can renew online despite the holds but the website couldn't even let me do that because of the holds I had. So there's some misinformed workers there depending on who you talk to. If the library was consistent and had a great communication service for renewals then I'd give this place 5 stars.

When in Catoosa Co this my go-to bathroom destination. The bathrooms are located just inside the…read moremain entrance (making it a great option when pressed for time). The bathroom stalls are few but they are mostly clean and always stocked with tp. My preferred stall is the smaller one closer to the door. Some things to look out for... the soap dispensers on the sink are false prophets, empty and dry as they come. The real soap Moses is located in the 2 dispensers on the walls to the left and right of the sinks. If you're looking to dry your hands with paper towels then look somewhere else. As dry and empty as the soap dispensers stands the paper towel holder towards the door. A hand blow is all you're gonna get here but like most things in life, it gets the job done. If you're cruising down 2A on a wing and a prayer I give this bathroom 4/5. Safe travels and may all your undies stay white.
