When providing overnight doula care, she takes meticulous notes, ensuring that the family is fully aware of how their babies are doing at night. With her down time, Robin is happy to pitch in around the home with tasks such as meal prep, laundry, or general organizing. I had initially contacted another doula in Flintstone, GA, but she was booked solid and sent me to Amy at BirthRite. What a blessing! Amy helped my husband and me have the calm, natural, joyous birth experience we wanted. When we first met, I was immediately struck by her soothing nature. I felt assured that no matter what we decided to do - even if I chose to get an epidural at the last minute - she would support our every decision. I'm glad to say that I didn't need any pain meds, because Amy comforted, coached, and massaged me through my rather long labor. She was wonderful with the hospital nurses and our OB, too. I guess natural childbirth is pretty rare at Erlanger East and frankly, I think it throws off their system for getting things done. I can see how these circumstances could lead to a contentious atmosphere, which is the last thing a laboring woman needs. That never happened. I credit Amy for creating a mellow environment, and for bringing a bag of chocolates for our very busy nurse! She's a true pro. If you want to give birth naturally (whether at home or at a hospital), it's wise to invest in a doula. Especially for first time parents, it's so hard to know if what you're experiencing is normal, or how close you are to the finish line. Amy's experience and wisdom was a priceless asset. If we decide to have another child, we will definitely work with her again.

Dr. Rohrer nearly killed my daughter. It is a miracle she is alive, but will suffer the rest of her…read morelife. Rohrer tried to do an ablation in her office and didn't have the right equipment and had a salesman who was there go to his car and get equipment. They had her biting on a popsicle stick because the numbing drug was weafing off. When she got home that set up infection which sent her back to Rohrer who told her she was going to have to do a hysterectomy which was why my daughter was having the ablasion to avoid a hysterectomy. After going home from the surgery she started having excrutiating pain and her husband drove her to the first hospital they could reach which was East Ridge. They would not treat her until they got the okay from Rohrer. She was screaming in pain (and she has a very high tolerance for pain). There was no answering service for Rohrer and I only found her phone number because Rohrers husband had done business with us and he has a different last name. When we got her on the phone, SHE REFUSED TO COME TO THE HOSPITAL AND TOLD MY DAUGHTERS HUSBAND TO JUST BRING HER IN MONDAY MORNING. This was on Friday. My daughter is screaming the entire time. They finally get her to approve them to help her and the doctor found she was septic. Rohrer had cut her bowels while doing the hysterectomy. We called in another surgeon for emergency surgery and Rohrer FINALLY showed up but we would not let her touch her. My daughter was a miracle. 95% die from what had happened to her. She spent years recovering and now is in constant pain, has to have surgeries ever so often to try and remove the adhesions that are attaching to her organs. She has also come down with Lupus. Rohrer NEVER EVEN SAID SHE WAS SORRY. SHE REFUSED TO PAY ANY OF THE MEDICAL BILLS AND WE WERE TOLD YOU CAN'T SUE A DOCTOR AND WIN. We thought she was a good doctor too, but she is NOT! She has NO compassion AT ALL!! Don't let her fool you. I would not let my dog go to her! Please if you care about your life or your families life, DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH HER. I had decided I would not write on the reviews but when I saw someone give her a 5 star rating I knew I needed to warn other women. There are others that have had horrible experiences too. Please do not go to her. If something goes wrong, she DOES NOT CARE! It's bad enough she messed up the first procedure, but to almost kill someone and just act like you're wasting her time while your daughter is dying in the emergency room is NOT acceptable. She will get what she deserves in the end. God has a special place for people like her.

She is young and she gets you in and out within 20 minutes. It was great for me so I could go for my weekly or monthly appt and then head right to work. Her nurses and staff are amazing. I highly recommend her as n OB-GYN.

After taking medication that completely destroyed my gut, I was desperate to find someone who could help me get back on track. Her home is clean, welcoming, and Terri genuinely cares for her clients. My appointments are not rushed, they are comfortable, and I always leave there feeling so much better than when I walked in. All of her special touches like setting out a blue covering for me because blue is my favorite color, letting me choose the cover for the heating pack based on how I'm feeling that day, offering a warm beverage if things aren't moving as well as they should, sending me home with electrolyte samples-- these are all things that don't go unnoticed and make the experience better. My gut and I are thankful we found Terri! :)

I came into this appointment expecting professionalism. What I experienced instead was one of the…read moremost uncomfortable and inappropriate encounters I've ever had with a service provider. Rather than focusing on the procedure, Miss Hart steered the conversation into my religious beliefs and political views--completely unsolicited and entirely out of place. I was questioned, judged, and ultimately told that she couldn't understand how someone could be both a Democrat and a Christian. This wasn't a passing comment--it was repeated and pressed upon me throughout the appointment, making it feel more like an interrogation than a service. To make matters worse, I received a follow-up text from her the next day that read: "Well, you said you weren't a Democrat so I don't see why you were offended by me saying that I can't understand how a Democrat can be a Christian. You're an independent so that doesn't put you in that category." She then accused me of lying and intentionally deceiving her because I didn't inform her I wouldn't be returning. That level of entitlement--expecting a client to justify why they won't return after such an inappropriate experience--is astonishing. Personal beliefs have no place in a professional setting unless the client brings them up, and even then, it should be handled with respect. What happened during and after this appointment crossed every boundary of professionalism and decency. If you're considering this provider, ask yourself whether you're comfortable having your beliefs questioned and judged while sitting in the chair. For me, this was a one-and-done experience--and not for the reasons I expected.
