Beautiful big city family friendly sports complex and small town prices. The indoor pools (yes 3-4…read morepool areas all in the same line of sight for parents who are watching) are amazing: the warm shallow kiddie pool with water features, waist deep lazy river and the play/ exercise pool. Separate lap lane and competition pools. In other words, something for everyone in the family. $10. all day pass per person... or get a family pass and save lots more. So many areas, heated for comfort, with chairs for spectators who don't want to swim. Free WI-FI... THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE WITH THE KIDS THIS WINTER!!! And in the summer, no closures for weather .... I also see lots of folks on the different running tracks and the basketball courts... up stairs are the weight rooms and exercise machines. There is no better facility for a hundred miles, maybe more. A membership is the gift you should give to your family. We drive 25 minutes to use this place... and are lucky to have it. Note: I can see that lots of folks take private lessons here, and also lots of folks clearly are getting physical therapy with a therapist here... professional help. So lucky to have the services.

I have nothing but great things to say about Concordia Village in Springfield. My grandparents…read morehave been through all levels of care from a 2-bedroom, independent apartment through the acute care center. The facilities are immaculate and the staff caring, friendly, and extremely competent. When my grandparents first moved in, my grandfather was just beginning to have his health failing, so they moved into a two bedroom apartment. They were extremely hesitant about moving into a senior care center such as this, having had very bad experiences in the past with you typical stereotype "Nursing Homes" in the 70s and 80s. However, we had really high hopes that conditions have improved. BOY HAVE THEY! Both of my grandparents really enjoyed the social activities, scheduled outings, movies and cultural programs, and even athletic programs such as aerobics and WII bowling. They also rave about the food. The chef and all of the dining staff, as well as the building staff in general are great. They really take an interest in the residents and treat them like family. They also have shuttle services to take the residents to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, and even occasional shows and outings. If I need a live in care center at that age, I will be happy if it is close to as great as Concordia.

For the first 10 years, they could not have been more satisfied. In 2019 a consistent number of personal and physical setbacks altered their situation and their needs. While upholding the policies of Concordia as far as moving from one level of care to another, they moved into assisted living for a short time. Just a few months into their move to assisted living, Dad's decline accelerated to the point of needing long term care. The staff were compassionate, attentive and supportive. Both Mom and Dad felt loved. is Concordia perfect? No. Where is?

They had a desk as soon as you walk down to greet you and see if you needed any assistance. We have personally been here a few times for family events or functions. Our kids always have a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoy going back. Our kids also always make friends which is great. There are tons of events such as kids night out, breakfast with Santa, princess dances with dad and much more I highly recommend following them and keeping an eye on all the upcoming events! I will say they originally priced for three kids. We spent about $50 for four hours.

Rude front desk staff ruined the experience…read more On June 21 around 1 PM, I came to the facility with my sisters, excited to enjoy a swim. Unfortunately, the indoor pool was at capacity--which is completely understandable. What wasn't okay was how the front desk staff spoke to us when we arrived. Instead of simply informing us the pool was full, the woman at the desk said, "Y'all was ready to go swimming, huh?" in a tone that came off sarcastic and dismissive. It felt like we were being mocked for just showing up ready to enjoy the amenities. We didn't cause any trouble--we just wanted to enjoy our day. But that comment and her attitude made us feel extremely unwelcome and embarrassed for no reason. That's not how guests should be treated, especially not when they're following the rules and coming in with good intentions. We ended up going to the outdoor pool instead, but the interaction at the front desk stuck with me. A little professionalism and courtesy would've gone a long way. I hope management seriously considers retraining staff on how to speak to guests respectfully--because this was a major disappointment.
