Here is what we noticed: - We arrived for our 7 PM reservation and there was already a line. We were seated in the patio next to a table of 8 or 10 people that were really loud. It was a little annoying at first since the rest of the patio was empty, but it too eventually filled up and the whole room got loud. - The menu is pretty extensive and according to our server the two sections are divided into local specialties and national specialties. - We decided not to order a bottle of wine this night, but there were a lot to choose from. My wife got a glass of Prosecco and I got a local beer. - We ordered the beef tartar to start, which was very, very good. Following that, we split the bigoli and a side of grilled vegetables. The bigoli pasta was like a carbonara and it was absolutely amazing. - We decided not to have dessert, but our server came by and offered us a complementary limoncello or genepi shot. Courmayeur is a small area of ​​nearly 50 km of slopes and yet we come back at least 3 times every year. This is of course due to the beautiful area, hospitality, marvelous village and mostly because of the amazing food! Giorgio's Alpetta is definetly our favourite restaurant on the slopes and we always look forward to have lunch there again! Also had a mixed salad that consisted of carrots, tomatoes, mixed greens and added the basalmic and olive oil for the dressing. After 4 days of hiking and unhealthy eating, a salad has never tasted so good. Also ordered a lemon soda, which came in a can.
