He knows everything about each horse, and the best way to get each horse to go where you want it to go. You can tell he loves what he does. Would highly recommend. FYI, they don't ride when it's over 95 degrees, for the safety of the horses. There is little if any cell service in "these parts". Your gps won't work. Take screen shots of your directions before leaving your hotel or whatever. You are not in the city - it's easy to miss street signs.

While we are a longterm boarding facility for 20 horses, we maintain an 8-stall barn for multi-use short term stays. The wedding was supposed to…read morebe outside and there was a torrential downpour so we had to move the ceremony inside - which is fine, weather happens. In order to change plans we had to rearrange the inside barn area, also fine except that the four men who worked for the barn refused to do anything. Guests had to move tables and the mother of the bride had to ask the them for extra chairs, which we paid for, and had to bed them to be brought it. It also flooded inside because of the new construction outside- also things happen... except that we couldn't get any staff to help and by the time they got there the linens on head table were soaking up muddy water and there was 4 inches of water right in front of the catering table. There also weren't even enough spaces at the head table for the entire bridal party (which they knew ahead of time)... there was a huge lack of activity from staff. Also this is not the place to book if you have family that has trouble with stairs because the only bathroom is in the bridal lounge upstairs. Guests had to go outside and climb a full flight in order to use the one bathroom- also difficult when it's raining because it is exposed. Overall interesting place for a wedding but if there is anything you need during set-up or arrival expect to be met with an attitude. Rain and inclement weather obviously can't be helped, but a positive service experience would have made all the difference. Having the owner call guests a bitch doesn't help either.. Also there is zero cell phone service and no wifi.

Drove out there and ran into Sheila, the "barn manager." She claimed not to have gotten the messages I left. She said there was a boarder leaving soon and she would put me on the list. Great! She gave me her cell number and told me to feel free to check in. Well, a month later I called the number she gave me. No answer. I called the main number and left yet another message with my number. No answer. Finally, I texted Sheila (at this point, I'm not even sure who she is) and got a "wrong number" response. Why would she lie to me? What kind of way is this to run a business?
