We selected RA Woodall & Sons to repair our roof based on some personal recommendations. We called…read moreand they came out quickly, identified the issues and proceeded to repair (before quoting or asking). He even took the time to blow off the entire roof to look for more issues. I have absolutely no problems with the gentleman that come out or his work. My issue is they did not quote before doing the repairs. I was expecting maybe somewhere around $400 based on the time and what was done, so I didn't bring up it should have been quoted first. I was very shocked to see for less than 1 hour onsite, filling some nail holes and caulking around flashing and other areas they charged us $800. They did lower it after we called them to talk about it. We are going to replace the roof in the next 2-3 years and had planned to just have them quote it, based on how they helped us with this. However, I am hesitant because I am not confident that they won't try to charge more than the quote or perform services I don't authorize.

The seller decided to replace the roof using R.A Woodall and we requested that the warranty information be provided. A year later a leak developed so we contacted R.A. Woodall and I spoke with Alan Woodall. He would not give me a date/time he could have someone look at the issue. I literally called and even texted him dozens of times. Alan would give excuses as to why they could not come out. One excuse was because he had a 400k job going and that was a higher priority. After a month after reporting the leak he finally sent out Butch who was very nice and attempted a repair. 2 weeks later the roof was leaking at the same place. I contacted R.A. Woodall again and spoke with Alan who says they are not sure when they can come out and also that this repair is workmanship related and is not covered under warranty (warranty is not transferable to new owner). We still requested they come out to have a look as they were the installer and should be most familiar with the roof and their workmanship. 2 weeks later and I have not received a response and meanwhile the damage inside the house is much worse. We resulted to calling another company to do the repair. In our experience R.A. Woodall is not responsive, does not honor their warranty and does not prioritize warranty work.

They pressure washed a section of our porch where there was a grease stain.not something that was on the list of things to do, so it was greatly appreciated. We really, really appreciated that. I could see a real positive difference in the exterior of our house. Pricing for the power washing and gutter cleaning was comparable to others. We also like to support local businesses. The gutter cleaning resulted in the large amount of rain we had to properly come out of the gutters. We really needed a gutter cleaning. They did an amazing job with that as well. Windows: The process of the window purchasing went pretty good. The estimate was below a lot of the big well known large companies. Again, we wanted to support local business. The measurement process was quick. It took about 3-4 weeks for the windows to come in and another week or two before the process was complete. The installation took 3 days. They did well. The three men here were great! We enjoyed their personalities, hard work, and attention to detail. We are extremely happy with the whole process. It was one of the best decisions we made for our house. Their communication was great during the whole process and their attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Top Stream has always been great with communication. Caleb and his staff have always been professional, polite and helpful. I highly recommend them. Our next project will be a new door, as they offer that service. My husband had said he will absolutely be using Top Stream for future projects. They replaced a badly weathered wooden deck and stairs at the back of my house with a beautiful deck and stairs made of composite material with aluminum railings. They also replaced the wooden fence (also badly weathered) surrounding the HVAC units on the side of house with vinyl fencing. I contacted Upward along with several other firms, and the owner (Tim Jones) got back to me by phone within a day and talked through the job. He then visited the site (I was away from the house) and within a few days, sent me a very detailed estimate that explained exactly the work that needed to be done. I then met Tim at my house, and he answered all of my questions and discussed options. Tim and team were ready to start the job in a couple of weeks and did a really great job. They prepared the steps and not surprisingly, discovered a lot of wood rot underneath; they completely rebuilt the structure underneath at an additional (but reasonable) cost. The crew was great. They showed up on time, were very courteous, and were very careful in their work, always cleaning up the job site at the end of the day, with a thorough cleaning when the job was done. The final result is just BEAUTIFUL and so much nicer than what was there before and should be pretty much maintenance free. We had a range of quotes from $700 to $3000 for rebuilding the suspect roof area to installing a larger cricket; none would guarantee their approach. Alpine Roofing offered a solution that they would warrant for half the cost of other estimates. It's not about fixing a leak the first time, it's about seeing the job through as promised. Alpine did that. The initial repair stood up to most storms. When we saw some water during particularly high winds, Alpine returned to expand the sealed area. They prioritized us even though many other jobs were in queue after the storm. Alpine identified the right fix, and ensured that fix stood up to the worst hurricane weather.
