However, Aaron and the Maintinence team Francisco/ Sedrick worked with us every step of the away until completion. Communication was on point! Francisco even made sure that the company that services the AC checked everything!! We have a new AC unit and we are living comfortably in our new home that we are really loving. I have nothing but great things to say especially since Aaron and Patty always answered our calls and emails. Thank you Avery team for helping us out! The property is always clean and out door grilling and pool area is great! Great time for the family to come over and grill.

The building steadily deteriorated: poor and makeshift maintenance, broken gates and entrances, inadequate security, and ongoing cleanliness issues. There were armed robberies inside the building, unhoused individuals sleeping on the roof and in the bushes, and persistent urine odors throughout common areas. Management also forced a change to an internet provider that could not adequately support my work-from-home business needs, which ultimately contributed to my decision to leave. Most troubling, multiple individuals have reported experiencing sexual harassment involving staff. Do not move here.

After a long day of apartment hunting in the Arts District, we were exhausted and unimpressed but when we arrived here it felt different in the best way. Kristina went above and beyond, staying late to give us a thorough tour and answering every question. Deshaun has been just as amazing, making us feel right at home. The property is beautiful with thoughtful and modern design choices. We love the amenities.. especially how dog-friendly the community is.. which was a top priority for us. There are multiple courtyards, some with turf, plenty of walking paths (& poop bags) and the NoHo West dog park 10 steps away. The rooftop views, gym and other shared spaces have been a great addition to our daily routine. I'm really looking forward to the summertime and using the outdoor spaces more.. top notch community cooking, everywhere! We were skeptical of the mail and delivery situation but so far we've had a couch delivered, a dozen food deliveries, dozens of amazon packages and all of our expected mail. For our actual move, there were plenty of loading zones and entry points, making it easy. My only gripe... the parking garage gate has been inconsistent, remaining open for days at a time... which literally bypasses all measures taken to secure access... but still, so far I've felt safe as a female living here and walking my two dogs. Overall, we're so glad we chose Alexan NoHo West. BIG THANKS to Kristina who's made this move such a great experience so far!

Initially, we loved…read moreit - The architecture is beautiful, the community spaces are stunning and the location is super convenient. HOWEVER. The quality of living has continued to steadily decline making the price you pay to live here harder to justify. We definitely won't be renewing at the end of our lease. Management has changed no less than three times in four years, each iteration worse than the last. At the time of writing this review, RPM Living is the latest. Martin is leading their team and the building to possibly the worst it's ever been: there are enormous German roaches roaming the hallways, dog poop everywhere, trash chutes that overflow and garage gates that are now left open 24-7. Security is non-existent. None of the TVs in any of the community spaces work and all of the outdoor TVs are broken with no plan to fix or replace. Outdoor grills are missing gas tanks, the pools are disgusting and the hot tub in building b is regularly below water levels. To make things more insulting, RPM just instituted new "policies" that more than double rental rates for community spaces without making any upgrades, repairs or changes. Room rentals used to be a flat rate of $50/hr and were booked through an app. Easy peasy. Now? They want you to sign a predatory and restrictive rental agreement with things like "holiday premium pricing," $500 deposits, $300 cleaning fees, agreeing not to move furniture, and forcing residents to purchase additional insurance with limits of no less than $500k/$1m aggregate if they want to rent a community room for private use. Want to serve alcohol? Better ask for permission first and if you're lucky enough to get it, get ready to submit a copy of your sever's bartending license for their approval. [insert eye roll] Stay away and take your money and peace elsewhere. Alexan NoHo West? More like Alexan NoHo, Don't.

She is professional, caring, responsive, and truly goes above and beyond for her residents. Even on weekends, if an issue comes up, she's always there to help. She never dismisses concerns instead, she takes the time to listen, figure things out, and find a solution that leaves you feeling heard and valued. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares as much as she does. I also want to recognize Brett, who is absolutely fantastic. He's incredibly professional, responds quickly, and is always willing to help with anything that comes up. He's kind, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Together, Candy and Brett make this building an amazing place to live. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the residents are unmatched. I truly appreciate everything they do and feel lucky to have such an incredible management team.

This has been one of the worst living experiences I've ever had…read more The neighborhood feels very unsafe. There are large numbers of homeless individuals around the block, and I've personally been chased multiple times. It's incredibly stressful just coming and going from your own home. Another major issue is the trash collection. The city trash truck consistently comes before 7 AM, and the noise is extremely loud--it will wake you up whether you want it or not. I brought this up to management, but their response was essentially that there's nothing they can do. So you're stuck dealing with it every single morning. On top of that, the building itself is poorly managed. From noisy neighbors throwing parties and screaming at 4 AM to other ongoing issues, management never takes meaningful action. Their response is always the same generic script: "We are working on the issue. If you're not happy, we can review lease termination options with you." In other words, either tolerate the problems or pay more money to leave. The neighbors above me are extremely loud and seem to start their activity late at night, often around 1 AM. The noise is so intense that it wakes me up with a racing heart. It's not occasional--it's every single night. I haven't been able to sleep in my own bedroom for the past year because of this. Instead, I'm paying $3,400 a month just to sleep on my sofa. That's completely unacceptable and far beyond anything anyone should have to tolerate. Between the unsafe surroundings, constant noise, and lack of accountability from management, living here has been extremely frustrating. This place has seriously impacted my quality of life, and I regret signing a lease here.

I didn't make appointments totally my fault but we were just trying to feel out the neighborhood. Most places turned us away as soon as I mentioned our move-in timeline but not L and O Apartments. And that's exactly why I'm taking the time to write this. They were the only building that welcomed me as a walk-in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiles. The lobby smelled amazing and the entire vibe felt warm and inviting. They offered me coffee and had apples and bananas out which my son absolutely loved. Chelsea is the one who toured me and she was so kind so sweet and absolutely amazing. After seeing the rooftop, the gym and everything else I'm seriously considering this place. If there's one thing I noticed it's that they actually make you feel like a future resident not just a number based on when I needed to move in.
