Recently, lack of quality treatment, meds!, you could come in and kill yourself there and I know my dr didn't even see how bad I was and I don't think she cared. It seems no doctors agree on treatment or medicines, serious diagnosis in my chart that are not mine and still not corrected. Today's referral, the office gave me an address in San Diego, then in Ventura and I found it in Oxnard but I wouldn't tell her her job! Maybe Shawn needs to check on the quality of her underlings and training they receive. Maybe someone should check on Shawn. The female couldn't pronounce the specialist field of practice either. I feel too old to change but looking for another practice. Definitely not recommended now.

She said to search around for someone to write the prescription. They all only get 20 minutes per patient. They get to address your 1 thing and that's it. I needed to transfer to the Santa Paula office since it's taken time to get in with pain management separately. Dr Lami is a gem, he understands and agrees to be helpful if you need something and then when you call back, the staff can't be bothered to assist. I think the staff answers calls for all of the offices and some of them just do what they can to get you off the line and don't really care if they help you. I guess they think when you call back someone else will do the work. Lazy. Then they get mad that you call so many times. Trust me, I wish I didn't have to spend 2 days trying to get someone to understand what is needed. I did the work asking about my request from the dr 2 weeks ago. Then gave them a heads up on Monday or Tuesday. Then asked for what I needed yesterday. Now today, All the calls to the pharmacy then Dr office then pharmacy etc. come on. Should I really have to go through all that? Even though I would ask for someone that I already talked to, the person would say they could help me and no different results. You work in healthcare so you should act like you care about the patients? It's 5:04 and I called 8 minutes ago. I've been left on hold after closing time. Daniella the office manager, did pick up at 5:08, she got the results needed but then scolded me for calling so many times. Her tone was rude. I don't understand why they think it's ok to treat someone like this.

I am seriously considering switching doctors just to escape the front desk at this office, which is extremely unfortunate as I really like the doctor.

Dr Williams asked me if I took calcium/D3. I have NEVER been D3 deficient and started taking calcium with D3 in it in when 50 years old as Dexa scan said a bit of osteopenia which has changed little in 25 years. We simply answered Dr Williams questions and I asked her to check my husband's hearing. The scribe and Billing Mgr will write in anything they can (true or not) to charge you extra! It was all routine exam, eyes, ear, throat heart, lung, and breast exam for me. No internal exams. We will be changing doctors asap and refuse to pay extra fees for routine exams and to answer questions. We are healthy, exercise, eat right, and NOT overweight. We reported them to Aetna FRAUD dept! I notified Dr Williams. She will be retiring in 2 years she told me. AVOID THIS GROUP with offices located in Ventura and Oxnard. This is the first time they started UPCHARGING despite going there for several years for our physicals/wellness visit!

In January I requested and filled out a form to have all my records from my previous doctor sent to her. I figured it would make my life and their life a lot easier. At my wellness exam in July it was very clear that they never followed up and got the medical records. Dr. Dial repeatedly asked me the same questions which was really exhausting. At the two month mark when I asked why they had not followed up on my medical records, the staff member said well you may not be back. I guess they are accustomed to patients leaving that practice. One form that I filled out before the July exam, I asked the staff, will you be showing this to the doctor now? They said yes, but apparently either they never gave it to the doctor or the doctor never looked at it. Because she never addressed my answers. They refuse to use an email system or a portal to be able to send messages. You can't fill out forms online. You have to hand write them onto several pages. And communicating by phone, with the staff goes nowhere. It took them four months to get my compounded hormone prescription, correct. Also, the doctor only looked at immunizations from CVS, not the state immunization records or other pharmacies so she had incomplete vaccination records. I have now changed doctors.

However, instead of being kind, comforting and understanding, She behaved as if I was angry. I told her I hadn't been to the dr in awhile and just feeling anxiety. She didn't like the way I was sitting in my chair with one leg up and spoke to me as if I was a child and not a 40 yr old woman. Then she said she couldn't continue the appt or care for me at all even in the future. This is upsetting and not how someone should be treated by a DOCTOR. I definitely don't want her as my dr if she can't show empathy when someone is upset/crying. I felt judged and dismissed. I've never been treated this way by a Dr. and hopefully no one else will be.
