Long waits and horrible customer service from the account manager, Mary. She convinced us not to open a new account by rudely interrupting us. If she doesn't want to work there, she should just quit. They promised to notify me when it arrived, but they did not and have done absolutely nothing for me since I signed up for an account. I have been with Chase Bank for 20 years. When they got through with me, I was happy to run to a competitor. Though they will never admit, they disabled my zelle deliberately where I can never transfer money between the accounts of my father and I. I have been assisting my elderly father scheduling his payments for years yet all Chase can do is treat me like a villain committing some sort of fraud. Ironically, I had to use wit and cunning to get my elderly mother's money back to her Chase account after a hacker scammed her out of money. Instead of them following up on that individual who aso had a Chase account and opening up a true investigation; they would rather treat me as a fraud. It is a wonderful feeling getting rid of this bank for good. I know at the end of the day, no one cares and can't wait to get to their next check, but it is a relief not having to wake up upset and angry wondering what Chase is going to do next. Mountains of Coins & Service with a Smile! So today I was one of those customers. We're in the process of moving and one of the habits I started a few years ago is to start a Change Fund. Every paycheck I would take part of it in change & would put it away in one of those empty large blue plastic water containers. It eventually evolved to focus on collecting $1 Dollar Coins. Today I either carried that heavy container around or finally made a deposit. I received a friendly greeting at the counter & explained to the young lady the type of deposit I was making today apologizing in advance for the extra work. Almost all the $1 coins were in rolls, I wanted to prevent it to be complete torture counting all that change. The young lady was super sweet, helped me out with a smile and not once did she make me feel awkward about the transaction, she actually took it in stride and laughed along with us. There are times that routine transactions can turn a bit more complicated & you see people's true character. This young lady & the rest of the staff was awesome. Needed to add a signer to a corporate account. Went into the branch at around 9:50am. Was told the banker was busy all day and the manager was busy all day and I should go to the Murphy branch. Went to the Murphy branch and you will never guess what happened. Yep, everybody too busy there also. Recommended I go to another branch. Fool me once... Instead I will move the account to Wells Fargo. I have never had a similar problem there. read more

I'm a Chase customer who has 3 personal accounts and 4 business accounts (I have a Chase consultant appointed to me). I went in on a Saturday to open another savings account with my wife. The banker told me she was booked for the day, and I would have to come back with an appointment. Or you can just do it online she said. She turned around, grabbed her purse, walked out for the day. The bank was open for another 45 minutes; I guess she requested to leave early. I ended up going to Bank of America down the street and opened an account with no issues. They were more than happy to take the pile of cash we had in my wife's purse. Chase, a word of advice, you should have staff that is willing to keep my money in your bank. If it wasn't too much of a headache, I would move all my accounts over to BOA after this interaction. read more

When you go to drive thur make sure you have about 20-30 minutes. So SLOW EVERY TIME. Inside is not much better. Very nice people but you will need LOTS OF TIME TO COME HERE. Since I posted this, I feel Chase has done a much better job and are faster to deal with customers. Great banking although I've had issues on some cash deposits where the money gets spit out while taking some of the bills and I can't stand that. I've also had to drive to different locations due to services not being available and it was inconvenient. I like the chip card but don't like that there's is not a faster time lapse in the event you forget to get your card. This happened to my daughter because she doesn't have her own card, so I have her mine to deposit money and buy us food and she said that a man had my card. Luckily he returned it! Chase has helped us with a dispute of an extremely high charge from Meineke so we were blessed the company didn't have the opportunity to charge us for something they didn't even fix! read more

Went into this bank to deposit money for one of my workers. He was in need of the money that day because of a personal matter, so I went to deposit cash to help him out. Guess what? They don't accept cash deposits! A bank that doesn't accept cash?!! Really?!!!! It was late in the day so I didn't have much time to get this done, but fortunately my bank was not far away. I went back to my bank, deposited the cash and got a cashiers check instead. Went back to Chase and they said it would take a few days to clear the check... WHAT?!!!! This is a cashiers check, why didn't they tell me before I left the first time that the cashiers check wouldn't work either. I wound up having to do a cash advance off my card, and depositing that cash. But isn't that a cash deposit? Why would they do that and not a straight cash deposit? They said because they could trace the cash to my account that way. How screwed up is that? So now I had to go back to my bank after that and deposit the cashiers check back into my account. So Ridiculous! A waste of my time, and the staff was Not willing to help me out when they knew I was trying to help out my worker who is a member of that bank. 1 star for lack of respect as well as inconvenience! I love Chase, I have used Chase since I was a teenager and have never had any problems. This location on the other hand makes me hate Chase. They NEVER have enough staff. The lines are always SO long. I pulled up to the drive up banking line today and I was never even acknowledged. I sat there for about 20 minutes. I had a crying baby in the backseat after sitting there for so long and finally had to just pull away. 20 minutes is a long time to go completely un acknowledged. Last time I went in I stood in line for about 45 minutes. I hate when something small takes significantly longer than it should. Trips to the bank should not take as long as they do at this Chase. read more
