I was later told there was an issue with what their website was displaying, but the negative credit reporting remained and has now affected my ability to refinance my HELOC. I have spent a significant amount of time trying to correct an issue caused by inaccurate information in their own system. Customers should be able to rely on what their financial institution shows them online. Based on how this was handled, I cannot recommend Premier America Credit Union.

I'd had an ATM card go missing; learned it was because they hadn't updated my address (even though they updated the overall addy on the account, and for DH, but not for me??), so the renewal card went into the ether or an old address. They were able to print a new one right in the branch. Yay! I also needed to sign to be joint owner of a newer account, and the customer service rep was able to take care of that, too. The branch office was pretty deserted at 3:00 on a Wednesday. It seemed they had a lot of employees working and not that many members to serve. They play upbeat music; kudos to whichever service they use for their selection. No sleepy elevator tunes, but not obnoxiously loud, either. The facilities are very clean - floors, desks, tables, chairs. That's a plus. Since they're close to the freeway (and bank robberies are evidently a SoCal thing), they have a security door lock system when going in and out. Not something I'm used to, but it makes sense in this crazy era in which we live. The rep who worked with us was efficient, but not overly friendly. When we thanked them for handling our requests, there wasn't a response. Normally you'd expect some kind of an acknowledgement, i.e., "Thank you for being members", or something of the like. I feel that I am being racially discriminated against by Susan Marshall in Collections, as my credit has been wrongly reviewed and reported. Despite being assured that my payments would not be reported, I have diligently made four payments only to find that Ventura County Credit Union continues to report that I am not making payments. This misinformation is affecting my credit score significantly, as this account is currently the only negative item on my report. Additionally, in 2018, my account was sold to a collection agency. After arranging to pay off the debt with the agency, the account was mysteriously transferred back to Ventura County Credit Union, creating further confusion and turmoil. Not only have I been misled about the reporting of my payments, but every attempt to dispute the inaccuracies has been met with negligence and further misinformation from Ventura County Credit Union. Despite providing documentation that clearly shows discrepancies in their reporting, the credit bureaus are not properly investigating the matter and are inexplicably ignoring the evidence I have provided. This ongoing ordeal has taken a severe toll on my mental well-being, as it is hindering my progress in improving my credit and achieving my financial goals. I am in desperate need of assistance to rectify this situation and ensure that my credit is accurately reflected. I've also had a documentation showing that I have been making payments along with the dispute confirmation from Equifax that Ventura County credit Union answered to and sent false documentation saying that I only made one payment which is actually two payments that they combined. They were able to help me with my transaction very quickly. They offer a wide variety of services for people in this area and I can't say this enough, they share space with the donut shop literally God's gift from earth banking, and donuts at the same time that's like 90% of my day taken care of, but I would say this Credit Union has to be one of the most polite, friendly and quickly serviced with a drive-through window that I have seen. They did a wonderful job making sure I understood everything that's something you have to be grateful for and I certainly am!
