Went to Chase on a Saturday morning to withdraw money at the ATM and get some $50 dollar bills. I was surprised to see you could select your withdrawal in $100s or $20s, but not in $50s. I went inside and there was a stern security guard sitting at a desk by the front door. There was no line. A friendly teller took my cash and gave it back to me in $50s, as requested. This location usually has fast service despite their lines accumulating fairly quickly during peak hours. The tellers are very friendly and always make sure that customers leave happy with as smooth of transactions as possible. The bankers seem very knowledgeable and are always willing to answer all questions to get patrons the account details they need. read more

I have been a Chase Private Client since 2013. I went in to this location on 12/24./18. The teller was very nice and had no issues with her service. I withdrew $40.00 in quarters. The rolls were hand rolled (probably by bank clients) and not sealed from the bank. The day after I emptied the roll to use it and it was short $.50 of the ten dollars it should have had. I compared all four rolls and they varied in length. Today I unrolled another roll and it had the ten dollars worth of quarters but an additional five non US currency coins were in it also. I haven't opened the remaining two rolls yet. You can bank on that I will never return to this location and will be more careful at future Chase banks to avoid future rip offs. read more

This is the Willow Glen local Chase. They tend to always have good customer service when I drop in and barely bat an eye when I don't use a deposit slip. The space has excellent parking and thus far I've had no issues with the ATM's. It's a pleasure to drop in here. I do wish they were closer to the Willow Glen Farmers market. This bank used to be a Washington Mutual but like all WaMu locations, they have been converted to Chase. I'm not quite sure about the blue decor that Chase put in but I guess this place is like any other bank. Nothing bad and nothing special. This location is available for other financial services besides simple deposits and withdrawals for checking/savings account. There are two ATMs outside the bank and the ATMs stay open 24-hours. This review is not a good or bad review. It's just a review to say that this place works and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Also, the people are nice enough. read more

I have a bank account at this bank and I like the service and the people that work here. The lactation is eat to get to and there is always parking in the back. So it is very convenient. It's easy to make deposits and withdraws as well. I had a car through Chase and they were always really eat to work with If you are looking for a new bank and you live or work in the area you may want to look into getting an account with this Chase location. It's right across the street from Starbucks and it's located right on Lincoln avenue in downtown Willow Glen. I hate to be petty but I've found over the years banking at the WG branch the help seem to be entitled and pretentious, just because of working at the Willow Glen bank. Most of the time while opening an account for our children they are ill informed. I avoid going in and having to subject myself to their incompetence. At the beginning of this week I had to go in because I ordered a new card. They refuse to deposit my check. They refused to allow me to take money out of my account until one clerk offered to help me. All because of asking for an explanation as to why after all these years depositing my check they now refuse. All they want to do is shut a customer down immediately with no recourse. No suggestions or let me make sure we have your number and we will get back to and an apology. NO! They are right and their is nothing a customer could do. I have called to complain everyday to the number on the back of the card as I was so rudely directed by a doing nothing teller that got in my business. Everyday I am told on the phone a branch manager would call and as of today no one has. Saturday September 3. 2022. Mean while I have no new card today as well. My husband has deposited this same check walking in the bank for the last six years as well. Do to my social anxiety I avoid most situations where I have to justify myself. I've been terribly upset all week and haven't had a productive day where I am able to help out at home with daily tasks like helping the children at home or my husband. No one has helped me to resolve my situation by offering a solution as to what type of account I need to satisfy them. It's just willow glen folks. I walked in to the Lincon avenue Chase branch to deposit my paycheck like I've done many times at other locations for many years. I sign my checks with my middle and last name, not my full name, as I have done my whole life. they didn't want to deposit my check because it didn't exactly match my full name, even though on my drivers license it says the same thing, showing my full name and my normal signature. I was astounded when they told me that. From what I understand, you can sign "X" and have it be your legal signature, as long as you are consistant, and matches ID, like your license. Since they put up such a fight with me, I will not go back to this location for many years, until the employees have changed. read more

I am new to Chase. Ive been with Bank of the west for 12 years and just made the switch because I was sick of being treated like crap. First, I have to mention I have been up since 3am with a whining toddler, I am 5 months pregnant and just exhausted. I walked in to this Chase and a man ran over to open the door for me. My whining toddler had just fallen asleep and I still had to get my check deposited and new debit card ordered. Its hard carrying a large child around while pregnant and I just had my check in hand and drivers licenses, balancing it all. A young man, Dario Gomez, came from around the counter to assist me. There were two people in line and he went out of his way to get me seated and to help me out. They seem to have a great staff ratio where they are able to assist quickly. I was in utter shock! Being pregnant, I know in this day and age, people will not offer you their seat, help in any way and could careless. He made me feel important. He made sure to be very sweet and helpful, checking on all my accounts and answering questions I had. This was my third time here to this Chase, it was the best so far, but the other ones were very pleasant as well. Friendly people, fast service, this one was just my cherry on top! I have tried very hard to avoid banks, they take your money, loan it to others (the rich I couldn't get a loan from them). Then they charge you ridiculous fees just for holding your money (crazy), $34 returned item fee, I see NO justification for that amount since they never even touch the item a clearinghouse does it all and it's all electronic. In any event they talked me into opening a account, then convinced me to direct deposit my EDD check that goes to B of A automatically so I wouldn't have to pay one of their fees. So B of A got my EDD deposit on Friday April 6th thanks to BS I won't get it in my Chase account until April 10th and now I will have to pay late fees to the land company because my payment will be late THANK YOU CHASE read more

Not very helpful, I called to get chase documents notarized and the woman was off. So I asked the banker on the phone if there was any other Notary in the area at a Chase. She told me there was no way for her to find out because, it's just a license and they don't document who has it outside of the branch.
