These people are so uneducated to the industry! Rude!!!!!!! Act like their doing you a favor! They wouldn't even give me a piece of scrap paper to make myself a note, "against policy" I was told!!! This same bank screwed me out of a home purchase because they had four different people tell me how long a cashiers check from another banking institution would take to clear!!! I literally HATE this branch, will do all I can to stay out of there. I have been slowing pulling my money out of CHASE, and refuse to deal with their manger or their uneducated, rude and lying staff!!!! They helped me get a portion of my stolen money back, and one of the employees was very patient and friendly. She helped me personally with purging some fraudulent charges, and changing my card in order to throw off hackers who were stealing from me. The only problem I have is a small detail with the site. Because of a poor layout, I actually thought Chase had tripled my Monthly service fee, leaving me with a fee of $36.00 for this Month. I was unaware that they were really taking back the fee, because there was a MINUS sign (-) next to ALL of the numbers! I checked again to see that one of them should've been plus signs. Regarding Chase Bank MORRO BAY. Surely their profits are such that they can afford to hire an employee to man the drive up window. Many seniors in our area. Many with mobility issues. Many don't care to go in the bank and make small talk with the tellers while loud music plays. Today it was raining. Parking is in the back, only door is opposite in the front although there is a locked side door. I see no thought for the customer at this establishmen. tried to cash a check today from a personal sale I had made at a garage sale. I have had trouble cashing checks there before because I signed the check at home and not in front of the teller she refused to accept the check, even though the check was from one of there customer accounts made out to me. this time i waited to sign the check till I was in front of the teller, then she informed me that she couldn't cash the check because it was made out to Jeff and not Jeffrey as it reads on my license. I never use my full name and have cashed checks there before without the rey on the end of my first name. now I have a check from a person I don't know and have no way to contact them. I know my bank ( not Chase ) will accept it so I am not out the money the next time someone try's to give me a check from Chase I will have to refuse the transaction out of principle. It is though the tellers are cashing the check out of there own wallet or purse not there clients account as per the check from there establishment. the bottom line is "chase" is what a person has to do to receive there money from a chase account. read more

When I am at the bank, the service is excellent! However, lately they never seem to pick up their phone or return calls. I have called multiple days at various times during the day. Nothing. The one time I got through several weeks ago, the teller sounded frazzled and said she didn't have time to answer my questions on the phone. The customer service over the phone should be just as friendly as if I was standing in front of the teller. Just a little honest & friendly feedback. The current bank manager is rude, offensive, self-centered, and not customer first oriented. She is a me-first type who is not only loud and aggressive but thinks she is the cat's meow. Called last week and asked for a return call to set up an appt time to open a new account, no return call. Went in a few days later, Saturday, w/out an appt. The teller was talking to the "banker" and totally ignored us. I said we're here to open a new account, he said have a seat. Then the banker tells him he has an appt in 30 mins, doesn't tell us even though we're standing next to him just tells the teller. Teller says, yeah you'll have to make an appt and come back. By now the way we'd been treated my husband said, that's okay we'll go somewhere else. He said okay bye! Went to branch in SLO and they were awesome. read more

No you can't take paperwork for your ill spouse to sign, no you can't cash the check we just told you you could cash with a valid drivers license and our bank issue credit card, no we won't post your payment today if you put it in the drop box to avoid the crowd inside. I cannot believe the communistic approach that Chase Bank has now taken. They are trying to control every day banking. My daughter lives in Huntington Beach which is some 250 miles away. I cannot just hand her money when she needs it. She is going to the doctor's office because she has had 4 surgeries on her back, almost died from infection and is now being seen a CHOC that is why she is in Huntington Beach. She needed $700 for her doctor this morning because we switched to a better insurance and we are in between being covered, So I took off work, went to my bank got $700 cash and then I went to Chase Bank to make a deposit directly into her account. Chase Bank refused to take my cash! I have never heard of a thing when a bank will not take cash for a deposit into my daughter's account. So now she will not have the money for her doctor. I have made the same deposits into other banks for my other daughter's and son's without a problem. Why is it only Chase Bank that makes up these rules? So now my daughter does not have the money for her doctor because of Chase Bank and I will have to find another way to get it to her. read more

i just received the rudest, most disrespectful treatment from chase bank vice president karen huntoon & "relationship banker" keith dron at the morro bay branch of chase bank. i have never been treated so unprofessionally in my life! well i have, but not from a bank. this is a small, wonderful town, and we are better than this. this is the third time in 3 years that i have been treated rudely at chase and the third time is a charm. i closed my account and i now do business with community bank on morro bay blvd. karen and keith need to learn to treat clients with respect. i am so disappointed with them and with chase. i know they know better. every client should be treated the same, with respect, kindness and a sincere desire to solve problems. today chase bank let me down in a big way and they do not deserve my business. read more

I have been with a Chase bank for too many years I can not count. Everyone in there has been effiscent and friendly, my only wish is that I could count on the drive through window would be open at a certain time and day. My town has many retired , older people and it is so difficult for some of us to not be able to drive thru.as I have to park in the lot and then struggle to get my walker out which with my bad balance is very difficult to do. Then after the walk and steps, I am worn out, to then have to lift the walker or wheelchair back into the car, again with the balance problem. If it was open just one day or afternoon a week, the seniors could plan on that day was bank day. I have been treated rudely since we have opened accounts with Chase bank. The management have been helpful and accommodating but 3 out of 4 of the tellers treat me poorly. They don't admit to their own mistakes. They make me feel as if my money belongs to them not me. They are neither polite nor courteous. The customer seems to always be wrong and an inconvenience. The wait time is usually more than 5 minutes. I have had respectable accounts with them the last 3 months but they treat me as if they have never seen me before. read more
