I'd like to thank the bank manager and associates for their patience and diligence assisting me with a special circumstance. They were very professional and upfront. Nice to know there remains a few decent people on the planet!! Thank you!! read more

Went to Chase to pay off a minimum balance in person, because Chase allowed fraud to occur with my accounts (so bad I had to legally change my name). I closed all accounts minus my credit card. Went in today trying to pay the minimum balance, but they wouldn't allow me, because my name didn't match (obviously). I provided my social, addresses, and bank statements showing I own the account. Every Chase bank I've gone to in a 20 mile radius is ridiculous with customer service. My advice, never bank with Chase, once this card is paid off, I'm done. Best part, my STATEMENTS have my old name. read more

I have never waited so long in line to have a check cashed. I was here with my impatient 2 year old and I needed specific bills or I would have just used the ATM. There were several employees walking around the branch saying hello and asking us if we had questions. My question is can we get more tellers? I don't need people telling me hi I need quicker service. This is crazy I spent Over 30 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of me I don't get what is taking so long read more

Definitely, attentive to your needs. Best place for banking, I definitely recommend. Tellers and bankers all friendly, all ready to help!

Can not handle a simple transaction with an AmEx card!? And the atm machines are out of order. They must be only able to deal with very local, little town transactions? Nice looking bank inside...but read more

I've had an account there for about 3 years. Right now, I'd never go any place else. Recently I've had very positive experiences as a walk-in customer (although I've made several appointments with a banker in the past). The first was an international wire transfer. Stefi, the cashier/teller/associate helped me. She expertly handled the transfer (which can be involved, but she knew what to do and had me sign the appropriate forms, and the transfer went through with no problems). Then, today, on a Saturday, (great weekend hours by the way), I waited in a short line and was so happy to get Stefi again, to help me with a check deposit. I'd tried to deposit it using my phone, but it didn't go through for whatever reason. She reassured me that all was OK, did the deposit, and brought me a cold water on this very hot day. I really like this Chase branch (and have gone through various banks and credit unions over the last 40 years). As long as they continue with the expert help and personal service, I will be a La Verne customer for life. read more

I went in to Chase Bank in La Verne to talk to a banker for a fraud related matter. I set down and waited for over 20 minutes and not one employee came to ask if I needed help. There was a banker in one of the cubicles sitting all by herself. I approached her and asked if there was anyone to help me, she said, "I am the only banker and booked all day", while she had no one with her or no one else waiting. She could have helped me for 5-10 minutes, even if a person was scheduled to come in, since there was no one else waiting around. She said she can make a schedule for next week!!!!!! This was for a fraud issue but she did not care, and she had a polite sarcastic grin on her face!!!!!!! She did not care!!!! I waited around to possibly talk to the manager and that did not happen also, and I finally walked out of the bank!! I waited around over 20 minutes, and no one came to ask me anything or to notify me that I needs to make an appointment or anything. I guess I could have set around for the rest of the day until closing time and they would have asked me to leave at that time. read more

I come in here all the time for work. There is 1 teller, 5 people in line, and 4 other people who work here sitting at desks doing nothing. They are actually discussing who has what days off. Cross train the people who who here to help the line. Then the teller is asking the person she is helping questions about Christmas. Can you please just cut the chit chat and move this line. read more

I came in to start an additional new account a few minutes ago. Unfortunately, the Vice President "Beto" stated that he didn't have time to help me today, so I went to Bank of America to open the new account. Looks like I will be closing my Chase accounts if this is how they treat their customers. read more

Chase bank does not care about there customers, especially the phone systems will transfer your from one to another or keep you on hold longer than a hour just for customer support. Instead of the bank working with you or for you this bank is against you. I'm pulling my money out of all my accounts and looking for something much better where I won't get the run around. read more

I usually have bad experience at local banks. My wife happen to apply a credit card at this branch. Lamarr, the branch manager helped us set up a new card and mail by express. He is extremely friendly and patient. We got a call today for follow up my wife new card. We are very satisfied with his services he provided. read more

I had a financial advisor appointment at 4pm at the La Verne branch 2 weeks ago. Instead of calling me and talking with me over the phone, I got a RUDE VOICEMAIL saying it was cancelled because they were going to start closing at 4pm. I understood, due to the Coronavirus. What I don't understand is the lack of consideration of being offered the consultation over the phone? I would think that Chase Bank would want to still be of service to their customers. With everyone in need of work, I would imagine he would want the commission. I have a complete lack of disrespect for Chase Bank. I would like to give a BIG FAT ZERO to this review. Option, NOT AVAILABLE! Close your accounts with this Institute of a so called Bank and move your money anywhere but here! Cindy Loyal customer many many many years since they changed/merged to Chase. read more

We visited the La Verne beach in an effort to open a business account. After waiting for over 30 minutes in lobby for someone to help a banker approached us and gave us along list of documents he would need to open the account. We were missing a couple of documents from his list so we went home to retrieve them and returned. The next banker who approached us on our return asked for additional documents that we did not have and had us wait another hour. He then returned and told us we needed to set up an appointment later on that evening. None of these representatives had any desire to assist us and it was very apparent. We left and went to a competitor down the street and opened the account there in under 30 minutes and outside our identification, they did not request any of the documents that Chase had asked for. This new bank also had insightful information for small businesses and much support. read more

I like this chase bank better then the one in downtown pomona I like the new ATM machines and there isn't any lines or a wait time to use the ATM, and that's what I like about this place read more

I would give this location a zero if I could. I have been unable to speak with a representative over the phone and even when we went in person there was no one available. We made a court ordered deposit for a minor and instead of providing us with the legal documents as ordered Chase bank has not complied and there is no way to contact anyone regarding the issue. The person who claimed to be the manager stated he does not have the phone number for the legal department and they are not responding to an email read more

Bad customer service!!!!! They act like they are doing me a favor. Always long lines and one teller.

After banking with Chase for nearly 2 decades they elected to turn their back on a long time customer. I purchased the 4 kitchen appliance LG package from Costco. A third party delivery company delivered and set up the appliances. I found there were 3 parts of the stove that were not included. I called Costco. They told me to call LG. LG told me to call Costco. A classic circle jerk. Neither would do anything. So I called my Chase card and put a stop payment on the $6,000 charge. After a couple weeks I got a letter from Chase saying the vendor had delivered the merchandise and they considered the matter closed. All they had to do was tell Costco the order wasn't finished and to put pressure on LG to provide the parts. Chase supported the vendor instead of a loyal customer. I'll be moving my account to another bank. Chase will lose several thousand dollars in the next year from Credit card fees they collect from each charge made on a credit card. (I have 4 Chase cards) read more

This branch is NOT HELPFUL at all. I was there to let them explain to me about ROTH IRA and the guy just gave me his card (which i threw in the garbage) and told me to talk to my tax person. I told them i need them to explain to me the ROTH IRA and he didn't even sit long enough and was talking to me standing up like he wanted to leave. There were only 2 customers there! Please do your job Mr. Valuvi. I had the best experience with Chase when i was in NY but here in California, they suck big time. NOT HELPFUL at all!!!! read more

i live in La Verne and actively bank on 3 banks in La Verne, Chase Bank, Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank. All this 3 banks I visited at least twice in a month hence I have a very good comparison in the kind of service this 3 banks have to offer. Comparing the tellers of this 3 banks I would say Chase bank tellers are not as friendly as the other 2 banks and does not seem to appreciate the business you are giving them. A simple thank you to your business would be nice. Wells Fargo in my opinion has the best customer service and you can see the sincerity of there thank you. You can see in the body language after all if that person is sincere when they say thank you. The only reason I'm keeping my chase account is because my mortgage and my credit card is with Chase. I used to keep a 6 figure account with Chase, now i just maintain a small amount just to cover for my expenses. By the way I also have mortgages with Bank of America and Wells Fargo. I maintain checking accounts on all this 3 banks and guess where my savings account is..... Wells Fargo. read more
