The staff was very nice. They had two people with the front windows taken care of the customers as quick as they could. They had three or 48 machines inside and I think a couple outside. They had everyone hustling there were a lot of people there waiting for service and for opening accounts and things like that, but everyone's all the workers seem busy and helping the place is always very clean and always very neat. A number of years ago Chase Bank offered me Premier Checking because I was a military veteran. The advantage of this checking is that the bank graciously offered me free checks. Now it seems that they have withdrawn that offer. Why? I am told it is the cost of paper. So it appears that Chase does not value or nor respect veterans for their contributions to our county. All because the cost of 80 checks increased a small amount and I guess it would seriously impact their profit margins. Date 09/30/2024 A WASTE OF GAS I arrived at this bank around 4:20pm to get a notary but the papers I provided were blurry which the banker Alex said I needed to reprint them which was fine. I asked before leaving if they close at 5:00pm on the dot or a little before 5:00pm he said if I make it by 5pm I'm good. I went to reprint clear copies and came back and arrived at 4:40pm to the bank and Alex and another banker dismissed me and said to come back tomorrow. Got scammed twice at this branch. Made a large cash deposit and after counting it twice, I handed over to the teller. she took it to the counting machine and came back saying I have 1 less bill. #1-Please restructure your parking. #2-Parking is a complete nightmare Chase, And you know it. I get so stressed out just having to go their and I am a disable senior. Its way too confined it's like a tiny mouse maze with huge cars & trucks trying to pull in & out. The way you built it you have the drive through exiting with customers not knowing to turn Left or right because you can't go straight into cars parked directly in front. There backing out at same time while customers trying to pull in coming from left right & the other right exiting towards fire dept. I've seen bumper accidents and I'm sure more serious ones because whom ever built that parking lot absolutely didn't know what they were doing. On top off no marked lines for us pedestrians to walk after we park! Especially having to dodge cars coming out of that drive through Bottom line fix it or move to another location. Your "Chase for Gods Sake's you can afford it. Your going to loose a-lot of customers at that location if you haven't already. #3-Outside ATM'S are always filthy dirty along with graffiti. #4-You need to stay open after 5 pm no one gets off work until 6pm they can't get there in time to do inside banking. Saturdays stay open until 5-6. #5-And why don't you have more convenient locations? At least ATM You don't have any in La Puente I know that. You should be in markets, commercial parking lots ect. FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS CONVENIENCE! But now that I'm writing this review you obviously really don't care. #-6 You need to hire a professional Security Guard as well to be out in that parking lot especially at night it is NOT safe. #7- Your Handicap Parking is way to the right it's too far. There Should be a few accessible spaces directly in front of entrance door. #8-You only have 1 drive thru... and usually it's "out of order especially Fri-Sat-Sun nights. Or daytime there's 20 cars in that drive thru. I am a loyal customer with Chase for over 15 years since college, I've been having great experience with Chase and Chase has been the only personal and business bank so far. But today my personal banking experience in La Puente branch was very heart breaking. Here is my story, thank you for spend time to read it through. So I tried to wire my money last Friday (2/25) in one of the Chino Hills branch because I am buying a house I like a lot and try to beat all other offers, but the banker made a mistake so the wire didn't go through. I went to Azusa chase branch today to solve it, banker Samuel Sun was very patient and he apologized to me about the other banker's mistake and tried to help me out, and even wanted return the wire transfer fee since it wasn't my mistake. But there was a system issue at Azusa branch and they couldn't issue the wire. Samuel suggested to try the nearest La Puente or Walnut branch since it was almost 4 pm, and i really need this wire issued before the end of day today. I arrived La Puente branch before 4 pm and there was no line at all. When I entered the lobby and explained what i want to do, banker Ana L.Arguete (ID: 723909) responded very rudely that she said "we can't help you here, you must go back to Chino Hills branch". Then I asked her why the Azusa branch said they can help me without me going back to Chino Hills branch but due to system issue they couldn't do it today. She responded, "then you just should go back to Azusa branch, why you come here, our system is down too and we can't do it". The whole time she was VERY rude and impatient, no sign of any customer service at all. (I suggest if you guys can check the surveillance video about how she works, it's a very very bad example about Chase' customer service that I never had before) Then I requested to see the manager on site, she responded, "manager is very busy and he doesn't have time to see you". I didn't want to waste my time to argue so I just simply asked for manager's information that i can reach out afterwards. She said, "no, i don't have any contact information for you". I exited the lobby and went to Walnut branch due to it's close to 5 pm and Sophie Hao from Walnut branch helped me with my wire transfer there. The experience I had today from La Puente branch was an example of unprofessional, rude, impatient customer service. This totally ruin my day and only due to her attitude to Chase customer, and I don't even know how many others out there had the same experience like I had. I am really appreciate all the hard work from Chase during this COVID 19 hard time. But people who can keep their job should have a good positive attitude about their customer service. I have always appreciated Chase and have found their banking practices to be excellent. Today, I am sorely disappointed. I came into the bank last week to open 529 plans for my children. I was told to return today and see their Financial Advisor, Miguel Rodriguez. I rearranged my day, took off several hours early to ensure I was here at the appointed time, only to discover that Miguel was not here nor was there a record of my appointment. This is absolutely unacceptable. If I cannot trust someone to be present at our appointment, how am I to trust them with my children's financial future? Not only will I take my business elsewhere, I will also be sure to share this with the parents who had asked me to get information for them as well. They lost my business, the potential business of my colleagues and the future business (I.e home loans) I had intended. All of that with the failure to appear. read more

Probably the closest Chase Bank near me so of course this location is a frequent stop for me. I've only had to go inside a few times but whenever I did staff was always friendly and welcoming. Though the lines inside and out might seem long, people pretty much get in and get out without creating a fuss. Since Chase is almost a weekly stop for me the only complaint I would have is the loiterers. I would think Chase would take more initiative to remove people like this from the premises. About 8/10 times there is always someone lingering around the outdoor ATM machines either trying to sell you something or asking for money. I understand Chase cannot control what happens after hours however they are even lingering during normal working hours. Its definitely an uncomfortable situation when you have strangers right behind you as your trying to finish your transaction. Taking note if you take out money then once you turn around they are bugging to sell or looking for handouts. Other than that this is a great bank. A representative who checked us in states she'll have to speak to a manager since it couldn't be done in 45 min, even though I spoke to a gentleman earlier at 2:30pm and he said it's fine come on in. I saw representative Belsi and I have to say that over all my years of banking experience and dealing with bank representatives, I've never met anyone who truly is "customer" driven. With some rare issue in my case she fought for me, took her time spoke to all the people she could, to try and understand why the automatically given limits on all total checking accounts where not applied to mine. Went into the branch today and dealt with ana argueta. Came in to cash a check like I normally do every other week at this branch. Today however there was an issue. She had told me they cannot cash my check. When I asked for it the reason she simply said to call the people who wrote the check and they will know. Of course the person who wrote the check did not know. She would not talk to them on the phone because she was not sure if it was the person on the account. They told her on speakerphone they will give her whatever information she needs to verify the account including their phone number which I was calling. She told me that chase bank no longer cashes checks for non-customers. At that point I asked her if I can open an account. She told me Chase is currently not opening new accounts and I need to leave. I asked her for her name which she replied no and for me to leave. Refused to leave until she gave me her business card. As a new customer, you expect a little more welcoming. I bank with Wells Fargo, never had an issue with them. I had to switch my teens accounts because Wells Fargo does not offer a college account. I took my 17 year to open up a new account since he just graduated and is heading to college. The guy that helped us was very rude, didn't catch his name (tall, skinny Asian male) he made us feel like we need their business and chase does not need us. My 96 year old grandmother loves playing bingo so she wanted to stop at this bank to get rolls of quarters after lunch. In my head I was thinking the line was going to be long and sure enough as we stepped in the door I saw a line. I looked over to my grandmother and asked if she wanted to come back later since she's not able to stand for long periods of time and before she could answer we were greeted by a friendly staff member named Jose. He said he'd be able to help us and we wouldn't have to wait in line. It took him about two minutes to bring my grandmother her quarters. Out of all the Chase Branches I've been to, this one has the worst customer service! I was there today to set up the pin for the safety deposit box. My name was the last one on the sheet. The person before me was served right away. I sat there for 30 minutes. The woman named 'diane' was walking around, trying to be friendly to all the customers who were in line. She came over and moved the sheet that had my name on it. After 30 minutes, a guy came over and called someone else. So I told them my name was on the other sheet, which they could not find. They guy gave me an attitude and go, 'I guess I can help her first...' WHAT THE HELL?! It took the guy FIVE minutes to set up the code. He was RUDE!! Kept on asking me if that's the only thing I need.I had to repeat myself three times that I do need to get to the safe. oh. It doesn't end there. After I got to the safe, the guy said that Diane will help me when I am done. Guess what?! She was 'too busy' checking on everyone else. I was PISSED!!! I actually called back and talked to one of the managers. She was very apologetic. But honestly, it's not the first time I experience long wait time... Most of the time, I had to wait really long to access the safety deposit box (while the workers there are chatting and laughing...) If you have another Branch close to you, or if you look really young, don't come to this one. I am gonna start looking for another branch with the safety deposit box... read more

I walked into the bank on Saturday and it was packed with customers. The teller was so friendly and showed genuine concern regarding two fees charged onto my account. She recommended for me to talk to a banker. I waited for 45 minutes but I understood because most of the employees were busy.
