They have someone at the front desk to tries to greet you if he or she is not already helping someone. They always have enough tellers available so that even if there is a line, it moves quickly. The last time I got a loan there - albeit quite a few years ago - it went very smoothly.

I've been wanting to stop into this Bank of America for the longest time, and after finding a stash…read moreof $1 bills and having been at the Hurricane Grill next door, I stopped in today for the ATM, and although I can't vouch for their employees (because it was off-hours), I could find a few things wrong with the machine - of which things start with the machine processing my stack of $1 dollar-bills at a speed that is slower than most Bank of America ATMs. Although it took me a good 10 minutes to have their ATM inside process my deposit from start to finish (after waiting 5 minutes for the last person to finish their transaction at the ATM), I really would have went elsewhere. I mean, it counted right (because I double-checked prior to insertion) but it just was so slowwwwwww. I liked that this was a contactless ATM - I had my Apple Watch and had never used it to use these ATMs, but this part made things super simple to start the transaction off right.

Once I arrived at the branch, the traffic was being regulated to ensure a safe environment. There weren't a ton of people just walking in and out. You also were required to wear a mask. Here's the best part. When I went in for my appointment, I was immediately taken to a notary and I was in and out within 5 mins. UNHEARD OF! I hate going to get documents notarized at other locations because I usually have to sit and wait for a while. Once I was even told there was no notary available after waiting for a while. So frustrating. This experience was amazing and zero stress. I'll be coming here for now on.

I had accounts with them for over 30years. The only account I have now is my mortgage. Over the…read moreyears I have called multiple to ask about paying extra payments to lower how much interest I pay overtime, and they said I couldn't do it. That it will only apply to the next month's payment on the due date and no interest would be saved. I have checked online many times as well and no info. Well today and I check and there it is - it states you can make extra payments to shorten your loan and interest. WOW!! So this wasn't their policy before? Was it legal? Were they lying to me? This is nothing to say about them depositing checks into wrong accounts, debit card charges going to incorrect accounts, deleting money in savings, etc etc. !! This has been across other family members accounts as well. They are inept, sneaky, unethical and probably more. Even my lawyer told me not to bank with them, not to bank with any credit union but that HVCU (HVFCU) is the worst!!

I'll share the claim of community bank is a false claim. I feel more sense of community from a big box bank. Branch staff should be prepared to service any banking situation from account questions to simply filling a change order. Clients shouldn't be turned away or made to wait to fulfil banking needs.
