They both went above and beyond were extremely efficient and hospitable!! They were ready to get me in and out as quickly as possible and making sure to take their time and paying attention to detail when necessary! They answered all my questions, fixed all my problems, and made me feel very welcome. This is my first time with Bank of America but seeing the staff treating regulars like family knowing us by name and always being considerate. This bank in poughkeepsie is more than worth the time and energy to become a patron here!!!

    I've been wanting to stop into this Bank of America for the longest time, and after finding a stash…read moreof $1 bills and having been at the Hurricane Grill next door, I stopped in today for the ATM, and although I can't vouch for their employees (because it was off-hours), I could find a few things wrong with the machine - of which things start with the machine processing my stack of $1 dollar-bills at a speed that is slower than most Bank of America ATMs. Although it took me a good 10 minutes to have their ATM inside process my deposit from start to finish (after waiting 5 minutes for the last person to finish their transaction at the ATM), I really would have went elsewhere. I mean, it counted right (because I double-checked prior to insertion) but it just was so slowwwwwww. I liked that this was a contactless ATM - I had my Apple Watch and had never used it to use these ATMs, but this part made things super simple to start the transaction off right.

    DELAYED REVIEW: Here's one that was in my drafts during my…read moreholiday shopping. Sorry I did not post sooner, but I thought the recognition was warranted. I needed some holiday cash to stuff in my Christmas envelopes so I drove through the Chase Bank on Route nine near the Marshalls/TJX/HomeGoods shopping plaza Parking there's pretty easy with overflow everywhere. But today I picked the drive-through teller. It has one of those old school tubes that comes and goes from inside the building. Great for kids to watch if you have any of those in the car Anyway, I didn't have to wait long before one of the drive-through tellers appeared and let me know they were just a little backed up and appreciated my waiting. They're really polite here and a few times I have used the drive-through teller has not been disappointing. It's worth noting that the drive-through takes a bit longer. Convenience has its downside, but I was prepared to wait because on this day, the convenience outweigh the time crunch My teller was supra Helpful and had my requests filled in no time. All with a smile, despite the holiday rush Nothing went wrong except some grumpy customers who felt it urgent to swear out other customers just trying to use the ATM. I guess they forgot about holiday spirit This particular Chase location has a great staff with great attitude. Well done.

    Stood at at the counter for an entire 30 minutes. Had 5 loan payment to make - had the tickets…read morewith the checks to make everything easy. the teller was struggling- Marrandia. She asked Carrie several times for help to which the first time Carrie responded " what does the check say?" Several minutes later Mirrandia asked again for help - Carrie says " do 1 at a time. At this point I had been here for about 15 minutes- Carrie didn't seem to care that I had been standing here all along - didn't offer any more assistance. During this time Carrie assited 2 customers. Which 1 customer asked her if she liked it here- Carrie responded - yeah there's plenty of room for advancement and its close to home. Still standing her with Miranda struggling. Asked another associate for help but with no end result. While standing at the window for 30 minutes I was privy to the Branch manager having a conversation with " Chris" the receptionist- it was initially entertaining until it wasnt. Tabitha is the branch manager- she would be celebrating her anniversary soon - and she will be going to Rhode Island - not sure if Rhode Island was where she was celebrating, anyway. Probably 20 minutes into my visit to the branch. Oh yeah - customer told Tabitha she looked like she lost weight- Tabitha responded - I've gained a few pounds - Rice Krispy treats go down like water. Miranda asked another teller for help - Marie- she had been cleaning her work station- and again totally oblivious that I had been there for 25 minutes now-told Chris- the receptionist she would need numbers for the override- Chris said if your numbers don't work neither will mine-At this point I asked for the branch manager- was told she was out to lunch. When Tabitha did arrive 30 minutes into my adventure- she said she knew what to do - I had been in the pervious week - it was not as entertaining as this incident . I don't know do you think this is worthy of any stars? In a nut shell there where plenty of employees on staff to assist- Nobody cared that I was there for 30 minutes. Please look at the video- this is not an exaggeration. During my adventure there were literally at most- 5 customer transactions during my stay. May 3 was the transaction date - I believe I arrived at 11:45 ish and departed 12:18. Gotta see it to believe it !!!!!!!!

They kept…read morepassing my application off to someone else, had three diffent people and then ended up back with the first person. They sent the disclosure before they were done with it and never sent over the updated version because, and this is an exact quote "we aren't required to". Took three voicemails (never returned) and two ignored emails to finally get ahold of them to tell me how much I was actually supposed to bring to the closing.     Unexpected Account Closure and Loan Reversal After Providing Proof…read more I applied for a $5,000 personal loan with Rhinebeck Bank. The first application was denied for "not enough credit history." I then provided proof of a paid-off auto loan that Rhinebeck Bank had issued to me in the past, which they confirmed existed in their system (but was not showing on my credit report). After I provided proof of the paid-off loan, my application was approved with set terms. The next day, the bank reversed the decision and denied the same loan due to "misrepresentations" -- even though the bank acknowledged that the payment history they saw came from a third-party credit company, not from me. Shortly after, the bank closed the checking account I had just opened and sent a cease-and-desist letter. I was never accused of creating false documents -- only that the bank received them from another company. Based on my experience, I feel the bank handled the situation without clear communication or fairness. I would recommend anyone applying for loans here to document every step, because decisions can change suddenly without a clear explanation.
