The representative met we me and took down all of the information regarding the transactions. She said that the IT support tea, was unavailable during my visit to the bank, but that she would get to the bottom of the problem and call me back. Today I received a call from the bank with a full explanation of what had transpired at the retailer locations. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick explanation of what had gone wrong at the retail locations. The bank also assured me that if the problem should continue they would issue me a new card free of charge.

During my 40 plus years of getting service from Flushing Savings I have been very satisfied for the most part. The reason for this review is the stellar service I have been getting for the past ten years from the Bayside Branch which is now at 213-03 Northern Blvd, Queens, NY 11361. From the manager to the rest of the workers there I have received wonderful and PERSONAL service. They actually know my name when I call, never had that happen before from a bank. Even though it was not their fault in a recent check order via a third party they quickly fixed the problem for me and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the results. To sum up, they are the best of the best for providing personal help with my banking needs and are always there to lend a hand when needed. You will never feel lost at this branch even though they moved from where they used to be on Bell Blvd to where they are now at 213-03 Northern Blvd, Queens, NY 11361, check them out.

When you park in the parking alot in the back the bank is right next to CVS. This place deserves zero stars…read more I closed my account here at least seven years ago because of the incompetence. However, my grandmother is still a member of this bank Whenever I accompany my grandma the teller ,ASLIMA JEFFRIES ,asks my grandmother why she's withdrawing whatever amount of money she is withdrawing that day. it's very awkward because how does one respond to such nosiness? We have never experienced such inappropriate , bizarre behavior from a bank teller. She is like a nosy housewife. Today's incident is what prompted me to, on yelp. Today I accompanied my grandmother to the bank so she can put a beneficiary on her account there. Recently her estate attorney advised her to put beneficiaries on her bank accounts. We sat down with I believe her name was MARYAM, MIRIAM (or some variation of that sort). This person had no idea what we were talking about. We had to get the attorney on the phone to explain to her how to do her job. Apparently capital one staff training does not include beneficiary forms. So we filled out the papers and since capital one doesn't have a notary, we went across the street to a different bank to have the form notarized. When we returned back to capital one after having the form notarized we gave it to MARYAM MIRIAM so that she could fax it. After she returned from faxing it she said to my grandmother that she needed to speak with her alone and asked me to give them privacy. I stepped a few feet away and I heard her asking my grandmother if she was sure she wanted to make me the beneficiary on her bank account. My grandmother was absolutely astounded and gave a shriek. I was absolutely astounded and I asked her " why would you ask my grandmother all of this after the fact". If this was a case of trying to protect the elderly from exploitation it would've made more sense to ask my grandmother this before everything was notarized and faxed over. In any event it was just downright nosiness and incredibly inappropriate. I don't know where they find the people who work at this location. I think it's high time to stop hiring useless housewives with sh!t for brains.

I was working full time and did not want to make a trip to my bank. My husband was going to TD Bank for something else, so I asked him to get the SWIFT number for the international wire transfer. He brought one and I sent it to my cousin. We agreed on the trial transfer of $500 just to make sure. Glad we did! It did not go through. I sent my husband to find out. He came home stating that he was told by TD bank employee that money did not come and my cousin needs to request a reversal. I told that to my cousin who checked everything on his end and confirmed everything was correct. So I took a printout he provided to TD bank. It was almost 1 month after the transfer was made. The lady called somewhere and located the money, however, said I have to answer some questions for the money to be credited to my account. Okay, I did and finally got the money on our account. While I was waiting in her office she brought me 2 credit card offers I did not ask for. Next my cousin made another wire transfer of $1000 to see how it would go through. Again the same issue. I went on Saturday to clarify and answer questions. They told me to sit down and wait while they were gushing over another customer's big dog, were clueless about the questions and had no interest in resolving my issue. After days of waiting and several calls my husband made to them, we finally got the money. I did not want to go through this again, so I went to Chase Bank where my personal account is. I forwarded the SWIFT number to my cousin who by now made multiple wire transfers in $3000 increments as he no longer trusts American banks. All of them were credited to my Chase account in 2-3 days, no questions asked or answered, no calls or trips to the bank made. Now I am temporary working only one day a week by choice and plan to go back full time after the holidays. I have plenty of credit, use only small part of it and pay my balance in full every month but my 5/3 Bank credit card I had for 20 years does not offer great rewards, or at least they did not update them. Since TD Bank offered $200 back and better rewards and I had time to do it, I went to their branch with the printouts they offered me when I went to complain about the missing wire transfer. Well, I just now got a rejection letter in the mail that my income is not sufficient! No kidding! When my income is sufficient, I do not have time to go to the bank. By the way, my credit score is 880. The worst bank I have ever dealt with!
