My business had $27,000 stolen from their bank (check fraud) and they did absolutely nothing for me to get it back. I had to file my own police report, investigate the bank it was deposited in and leverage my own banking relationship with the other institution to get anywhere. I still don't have the money back 2 months later, but I have been assured by the OTHER institution it is placed on hold and I will get it back. The State Bank sent me a letter from their fancy attorney yesterday (their billable rate was probably close to my $27,000 that went missing) pointing a lot of fingers at me telling me my request for returned funds was denied. The State Banks employees are condescending and rude. Even the president of the bank was involved and could have cared less that they were losing a 25 year customer.
