Anyone can walk up using your key and they will accompany you and open the box for you. They don't check your signature, though they require one. The pro is my friend can help me pick something up if I'm sick, but it feels very unsafe and defeats the purpose of the box. Citibank, on the other hand, is very strict and my best friend's valuables are so safe! However, their checking services are inhibitory (high minimums), so there is no win for me.

I opened a 7-month CD on Dec 30, the certificate states open date Dec 30 and matures July 30. Dec 30, 2023 was a Saturday, Dec 31 was a Sunday, and Jan 1 is New Years Day. The Citibank Manager refuses to give me the gold pendant claiming that "you opened the account in January". Deposits made on a Saturday or Sunday are not credited until the next business day which in this case is Jan 2, 2024. If that was the case, my CD would have read Jan 2 to Aug 2, 2024, but it does NOT. A bank account is considered open as soon as an account number is issued to you. And interest is given starting on the day the account is opened, Dec 30 and NOT Jan 2, 2024. The terms of the offer states Dec 1 to Dec 31, NOT Dec 1 to Dec 29. It is now November 2024, and after numerous complaints, the manager has opened a second "investigation", but you all know what that means.
