Went and visited this branch on a Friday noon hoping that they wouldn't be too busy, and sure enough they weren't :) We got there, lined up, and immediately a teller was available to help us. The transaction went smoothly and the teller was very helpful and friendly. We were able to finish our transaction within a matter of minutes, which was definitely much appreciated so that I could still have time for my lunch break. And parking at this location was very easy as this branch of Chase is located in the Clayton Valley Shopping Center, so yes, parking space is not an issue at all here and it's plenty. And Chase is kinda to the side of the shopping center so in this area parking lot is typically even more available :) I will definitely go to this branch again if I need to go visit Chase next time. read more

Chase Bank - Cute and colorful mini origami on display :) - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Concord, California

I recently visited Chase branch in was met with me curly frustrating situation that deserves no more than one star. Long lines at the branch unacceptable I felt like I was waiting in line at amusement park during the peak season. They were only two tellers available to serve Macy's book crowded customers a lack of staff meant that transactions moved at snail paste causing further delays. Chases long lines unlike available at tellers made my bank experience frustrating and unnecessarily time consuming it's disappointed see such inefficient in a reputable Bank. read more

I have been banking with Chase since it took over Washington Mutual. I have never had a problem there. They have always been very helpful.

Was just in to "cash" a check I wrote to my 6 yr old son. Miguel not only went along with pretending that he was really cashing the check but went above and beyond. He had my son sign the check, asked how he would like the bills then showed my son the bill counter...What a pleasant experience and 10/10 customer service. read more

This branch is TRASH. I went in the morning with not a single other customer in the building and the women "helping" me clearly didn't want to deal with me. She wanted me to come back for an appointment. I have a toddler and am 9 months pregnant and i was dealing with something very time sensitive and couldn't push this out. I went to the location on Oak Grove and was helped within 10 minutes in between appointments. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this location. read more

Not a friendly place. Granted, bandit barriers never help, but they are unfriendly there! I don't know if I'm wearing an invisibility cloak everytime I go in because the manager and tellers ignore me and the other customers. I can never get the time of day from anyone there. Then, if I finally do get to interact with someone, I make small talk about the weather, work, etc.-- and they don't even respond to me. I don't know, maybe I have a frog in my throat that makes me unable to be understood-- but only at that location. I'm sorry, I know I'm an inconvenience to you just because I have my money with your company and I need to be waited on. I can take it to a competitor instead if I'm that much of a nuisance to you. Yes, I've been to other Chase/former WaMu branches, and while none of them have particularly wowed me since Chase took over, they're adequate enough. This one on Ygnacio Valley Road takes the cake for rude, apathetic, and lousy employees. In the meantime, I'll see about shedding that invisibility cloak and extracting the frog from my throat. read more

Jasmine is the worst teller. Racist as well as has absolutely no manners. Can't wait tell they fire her. Worst experience at Chase and I have been a customer for 5 years and in total shock they would allow someone to continue to work here. read more

It took three employees to figure out if I could link an account to my debit card. Three employees. You deserve the two star rating that is on yelp. read more

Worst bank ever!!!!! The bankers and tellers don't know what they're doing and the Branch manager is rude and clearly doesn't like to help customers. I'm a victim of fraud and when I told the manager I didn't make these transactions her response was "Well I don't know that". Which was SO un-called for!! I was in the bank almost 2 hours trying to open a new account. It's now 5 minutes before closing and the Manager tells me I have to make an appointment for another day to open a new account. Even though that's why I came in 2 hours before closing to make sure I had enough time to do so. They literally wasted my time and then was very rude about me leaving because they were about to close. I can't believe people who applied & CHOSE to work here are very unpleasant and unhelpful. read more

The banking clerks here are pretty friendly. I used to bank with Chase, but now bank with BoFA. The customer service at Chase makes me consider coming back. Today we visited to cash a check from my insurance company after my car was totaled. My dad still has an account with Chase. The woman who helped us was very friendly and explained everything very clearly. The money had to be deposited into his account first, and then could be withdrawn. She seemed to be very knowledgeable about specific bank rules. We didn't wait very long, and their extra clerk actually came to help us when she saw us waiting! That is something I'm not used to with my banking service. The site is very clean, and they offer complimentary coffee. It's not very good coffee, but it's free. read more

Really terrible customer service, the tellers are uninformed and would not let me deposit cash into a business account, they said they couldn't do it because of money laundering. Well after leaving and getting a cashiers check I come back and a manager informs me that I can deposit cash into a business account and the teller was wrong. This wasted a hour of my time. The manager said the branch manager Micheal would call me and he finally did and all did was give me lip service the cut me off and said thanks for the feedback. So the rude attitude travels up to the people running this Bank as well read more

If you were looking to do a quick bank stop, this Chase is not where you should head to. Every single visit here takes a long time. Long line, lone teller leads to long waiting time, and it does not seem like they are going to change this practice. The manager is always pleasant, greeting everyone waiting in line. But the pleasantness does not alleviate long waiting times, and I am positive a grouchy, efficient teller or two would be considerably more appreciated. Just go here for your ATM needs and try to avoid the long wait with the tellers. read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this branch. Friendly tellers but why are they always so understaffed?! Heaven forbid you have to talk a banker! There's usually only one. Had to wait 30 minutes one time while I was pregnant. Please hire more people! read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR YOUNG ADULTS Customer service is bad, not the same when this branch use to be wamu (Washington mutual). My grandma and mom have an account with them and treat them a little better but still bad customer service. My family has been going to this bank for many years even before it was wamu and chase, it is disappointing. UPDATE: also when i tried to close my debt card account with chase, i was almost scammed out of all my money, luckily i kept track of how much money i had in my account because when the lady that helped me (shakila) went to get my money, she came back with $100 less than what was in my bank account and tried to pull it off like that was what i had, when i corrected her, she said "oh yea, your right" with out even trying to recheck her computer and said that it was the computers fault. so again for YOUNG ADULTS watch out with the service in this bank, they try to pull fast little tricks on you (my experience) read more

The regular tellers at this bank are average. The problem with this bank is the horrid assistant manager. When I was having issues with my account, I went in and had to talk to someone in charge to straighten things out. I got the runaround for a while and this assistant manager even tried lecturing me about my account use, which was not my fault I was dealing with fraudulent charges at the same time as my own expenditures. I couldn't believe it. When I asked to talk to the branch manager, she even lied and said she WAS the branch manager. Only after telling her twice that I knew she was not I was able to find out the days that her branch manager was in. My experience with this bank actually caused me to close my account with this financial institution and move to Bank of America. I have so far been satisfied with their service. Prior to my experience with the assistant manager of this bank, I was a member through this location before Washington Mutual was taken over by Chase... AND before Great Western was taken over by Washington Mutual. That should tell you how horrible of an experience this was. Hopefully this review saves someone future headaches of dealing with this branch and either going to another one or a different financial institution all together. read more

This bank is a joke. A friend gave me a check so I went to his bank Chase to cash it. Since I have a wells fargo account and not Chase they charged me $6 to cash a check in the amount of $194. And the check was from CHASE. This is absurd. read more

We love all the staff, we are greeted with a hello and a big smile. Any request we may have (change orders, statement copies, etc.) They get it taken care of in a efficient matter. We use to bank with Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Chase service charges are the most reasonable of all the banks we have worked with. And the customer service is beyond any of the other banks! Small branch. Very close to our house so its very convenient. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. I like the fact that they have safe deposit boxes that you can rent. I am sure to be a loyal customer and stay with them for long. read more

The best service at Walnut Creek Chase with Melissa. All we needed was a notarization and we wound up opening an account!

After waiting for over what felt like fifteen minutes, listening to the banker and her customer who was obviously a friend chat about their vaccines it was my turn. After telling her what my problem was she immediately acted like I was taking too much of her time. Which seemed weird to me considering how long I had just waited, so she tells the people now waiting behind me that she's sorry and they'll be right with them....???? I'm sorry were you not sorry that I had to wait? Very confused. Exocet not because she was obviously treated me as a less than. After listening to her grown woman attitude I decided to not push what I needed help with and leave with out solving the problem I came in with. As someone who has worked in customer service my whole life, I would say they should work on keeping people in the front who are good at dealing with people, regardless their age, or financial status. Doesn't make me want to visit that branch again, almost makes me want to close my account. Be better. read more

I've never had a bad experience at this bank. It is my current go-to chase. The staff has always been friendly to me. The lines can build up and instead of keeping the line moving, staff keeps conversation going. That's fine, I understand good and friendly customer service, but limit the chit chat when there's a line. Also, the atm is super sensitive about certain bills it takes. So annoying. What's the point? read more

Not sure what everyone is talking about but I came in to open a new account and the service was awesome!!! I wanted to let everyone know that I have been with Chase bank a long time. It has excellent service Mr Michael Mitchell is an excellent Vice President customer service politeness very professional. This bank has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my travels, One thinks he might reconsider his options & see what's out there, they really don't deserve the star I placed on them, ad for the very rude 21 or something, high & allmighty, male bashing, tall blonde whom gives me & others a bad taste in our mouths, I have wittnesses, she should never be allowed to work as a teller manager or even promoted to any rank until she takes several classes on deversity at some university, BofA coming my way I have to say unless they change their way, ad for cameras they don't lie...KSS..1g1... PS I wrote this last year, since then I've lost my home, after negotiating an agreement signed sealed with envelopment set up payment through Western Union pre-arraigned in promise of acceptance from my $5,000.00 attorney whom turned 180 on me asking for one to fabricate funds to chase standards above financial matters, one did not agree in this deceptiveness, non acceptance, still a mystery one's credit for six consecutive payment history..? Still, with two years left to file, The Paper Chase Goes On read more

I have been banking here for 15 years. Always friendly & helpful employees. I do all my banking around 4:30pm [peak banking times]. I have never had more than 2 people in front of me. There are always at least 3 tellers working. When my credit card # was stolen they were VERY helpful in straightening the mess out. They made calls to their corporate office to streamline the process for me. Easy parking. Very clean & modern inside. Highly recommend!! read more

If I could give negative five stars I would. When I walked in Daniel Tucker gave me phenomenal customer service..he deserves 10 stars. I told him I needed to speak to a Banker when I should have asked for the Branch Manager. The Banker was a nightmare. Carmen Lopez has horrible customer service. The bank gave me SIX overdraft fees. It was a bank error because I had made a deposit on September 8th before 8pm (which is the cut-off time). The overdraft was taken out of my account September 9th when there was sufficient money in the account. She said I was too late and missed the cut off time. At first, she said I made the deposit at midnight which I know I made it around 6pm September 8th. She then changed the time and said it was 8:04 pm once she found out I didn't have my ATM receipt to prove it. She wouldn't waive the $204 overdrafts for me because she said it wasn't a bank error when it was. I remember I deposited the money before 8pm I had a witness with me. I asked politely if she would waive the fees then explained that I had deposited sufficient $$ into the account the day before the bank over drafted me $103.. because I was in the negatives from that the next time I used my card on September 12th I was charged 3 more over draft fees. .... I had deposited just enough money to cover my pending transactions and then some prior to the bank over drafting me on September 8th, which created this snow ball effect of overdraft fees. The fact that Chase charged me overdraft fees when there was sufficient money in the account makes that a Bak error. It put my account in the negatives (when it wasn't) and continued to charge my account overdrafts. That was very much the bank's error considering I had deposited CASH before 8pm September 8th and was charged these over drafts September 9th. I called the branch this afternoon to find out the Managers name and District Manager. Patricia was very kind and helpful. I am willing to re-open my account again with Patricia once she hears my story maybe she is more professional than Carmen. Patricia was very kind and treated me with respect un-like Carmen. I will be reaching out to sing her praises for being so professional and kind. Too bad I closed my account today 9/19/2016 once I spoke with Carmen Lopez because Patricia was a doll. Because of Carmen Lopez Chase lost a loyal customer today. I hope this complaint goes directly to your Branch Manager Patricia, District Manager, Regional Manager, and Customer service. In fact, I will see that it does. I owe it too Patricia to go back in person and see if she can help me resolve this problem. Maybe then I will change my rating and re open an account with her. Patricia and Daniel I want everyone to know how kind and professional you are. I hope Carmen Lopez learns a thing or two from you. Carmen Lopez, you lack professionalism, ethics, and respect. Looking forward to meeting your Branch Manager in person. Kindest Regards, Stephanie Killmer read more

Even though I don't have an account here, Chase doesn't take cash if the dollar amount is high, exactly what that amount is, I'm not sure. So, because of this, I had to go to CVS and get some money orders. It also turns out that I was a victim of a scam, not because of Chase. Someone sent me a fraudulent check in the mail, and asked me to deposit this money into someone's account at Chase, totally sucked that it happened to me, so, if your reading this reveiw, just be careful, there are so many scams going on these days. read more

My past experience with Chase Banking has been a relatively a good one, however one teller by the name of Dahlia prolonged my withdrawal transaction. She gave a lot of attitude and seemed like she did not know what she was doing. She kept asking if I had a REAL ID to make the process faster, however she asked for the ID that I had used to open mt account which was my High School ID. The transactions prior to this one, they had the transaction done in a matter of two minutes tops, and enabling me to get to my destination on time. However with this transaction, I had to wait for about 15 minutes to make a $10 withdrawal, and I was late to where I needed to be. read more
