If there is a Zero i would. I have been a Chase client for decades...it was still Washington Mutual before. I dont need much from this bank. No interest on my checking but im still a client. All i requested was a newer dollar bills for my trip abroad ( fyi abroad has higher dollar currency if newer, no tear , no marks) . The teller told. E if i could wait for the Senior teller? Or cashier? Or manager? -not sure about the designation. The teller told me he has more access to it. I waited for 5 mins ,he was with a client. Then he attended to me like annoyed and he did not even try to see if he has newer bills. Like i waited for 5 mins and this guy would just tell me - no new bills , without even looking in the vault or his teller counter. He is A male -asian, did not get his name. In contrast to Chase in 82nd Fredmeyer. The lady Manager/ Cashier was so attentive the moment i walked in. Asked me what i need. I have been a Chase Visa cardholder for a long time and, for the very first time, I need them to support me and I have gotten the run around with no help. It's a very long story, but the bottom line is that I purchased 2 tickets from Ticketmaster for a concert in Washington. Before I received the tickets I clicked into the concert venue's website and discovered that they do not accept tickets from a 3rd party, specifically, Ticketmaster. They consider these tickets as "fraud". I immediately notified Chase as to this fraudulent behavior and they temporarily credited my account for the price of these tickets, almost $400. Unfortunately, they reversed the credit promptly, and sent me a letter stating that they were able to confirm that these tickets were valid. On April 15, I went to the concert and was told again that these tickets were fraudulent and I had to purchase 2 more tickets from the venue. Ultimately, the Manager of the entertainment division of the venue wrote me a very strong letter officially stating that their venue did not accept these tickets and that they were fraud. I resubmitted all this evidential information to Chase, once again, in 3 different ways, and they denied my dispute again, reiterating that they were valid tickets, which, clearly they were not. I even went into my local Chase branch to commence an official complaint. One week later I am now being told they have totally closed my case and there is nothing more I can do. Chase tells you how they want to protect you in order to get you to use their Visa card. Well, now I know, they have no intention to protect me, they would rather protect Ticketmaster. Bad service I can get over but repeated incompetence and irresponsibility with other people's financial affairs should be criminal. This branch is the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to a "a job well done." I've limited our banking at Chase to near nothing--just auto debits and bills--because we've had so many bad experiences and they still manage ways to screw things up. If a criminal steals your mail and cashes a check with no ID on their camera, NO PROBLEM, but if I try to cash a legitimate check, they refuse to cash it, then lose it, issue a replacement 2 months later and still refuse to cash it. I dread the painstaking process of changing auto debits and bill pays associated with any account but it needs to finally happen to permanently divorce my finances from Chase's incompetence. DO NOT TRUST ANY MONEY WITH THIS BRANCH. Use credit unions read more

Upon arrival two bankers had "just walked back in." Leaving me in line behind a person needing assistance with his account. Someone wanting to open an account was "rescheduled." One of the recently returned bankers seemed to walk around aimlessly while the other provided assistance. He checked voicemail before offering to help anyone. He acknowledged me and the other client - to whom he said "whatcha doin' here, bud?" to the back of his head. In short, leaving one banker to help everyone. This is a predatory institution I have funds that are being held. Not only will they not release them to me they won't provide me with any kind of documentation list I need to get them released. After making a phone call to the head office the personal banker was super embarrassed and in shock that Chase won't give me any options to get my money released. We are not talking about a few hundred dollars here we are talking about thousands. Think long and hard before doing any kind of business with Chase. read more

I'm usually the babysitter when it comes to getting banks to do what they say.... so it was a Shock to come into Chase and have THEM do all the work for you! They ask to be rated on a scale from 1-10, if I could give them 100 I would! When our banker said that he submitted our direct deposit form to our employer within 5 minutes of signing up an account, my jaw dropped. I'm usually the middle man, I'm usually the one who has to deal with all of the responsibility, otherwise things will not get done right. My wife needed a document notarized today. She called and made an appointment because this branch is near our house. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, the teller said he could not help her since we did not have an account there. "It's our policy." It's true, we don't have an account there. However, over the years we've had auto loans, a mortgage and student loans for our kids-- all paid off. But right now, we don't have an active account there... and guess what... after this little incident, we never will. "It's our policy." read more
