I was at the newest Gold's Gym next door and saw this branch as I was going to my car and I needed quarters so I thought cool, this is so convenient. I really don't care for these latest branch updates with fewer tellers and these annoying employees standing around hounding you asking if you need assistance. I am only in a branch for quarters and I had one employee me ask what I needed. He then told a 2nd employee what I was there for and then that 2nd employee again asked me what I needed and then proceeded to tell me that the teller would be with me shortly (like, DUH). Be very specific about what you want to do when speaking with the bankers. They do not know what they're doing and they do not follow protocol in asking ALL of the following questions when leaving a joint account and opening a new one. The manager to top it off was not very helpful and she stated that she will make sure that they ask ALL of the following questions are to be asked for future references as if the damage wasn't already done. This location takes so long to do anything - I walked out despite being number 3 in line for 15 minutes because tellers don't know what they're doing always requiring help from a manager or more interested with dealing with private clients than everyday banking customers. My local Chase bank... since they closed the one off Via Verde in San Dimas. This one is good, the staff are all friendly and welcoming. Took one star away just because sometimes its busy and the lines are long. Its not the biggest branch so that's probably why. Only 2 ATM machines 1 outside/1 inside. I haven't been inside this bank since ATM's can handle pretty much any transaction. Noticeable: 1. thoroughly remodeled interiors 2. a Concierge type person welcomes each customer and helps you get started on whatever you might need to do (I did not need her services, but it's good to have a person dedicated for that function). 3. l learned that there is no limit to the amount you can deposit at the ATM (there is a limit on what you can withdraw per day). 4. the two step metal detector thingy that was previously installed has been removed since my last visit. 5. just happened to overhear: no Public restroom in the bank. 3 weeks ago we found out our bank account had been hacked. Someone in Michigan ordered checks with our account number and put their name and information on it and wrote themselves a check for $22,000 and signed their name!! . Chase allowed it to be cashed. I feel like we're running into brick walls when dealing with them. The manager says they don't check names or signatures just the account number!' How secure do you feel now?! We have no idea how they got this information but it wasn't from us! We've banked with them for over 30 years. We found out that they had even changed our mailing address to New York. Chase never informed us! We've filed a police report, talked numerous times to the fraud department and still don't have our money back. As I said this check didn't have our name on it, only our account number. read more

I am so impressed with the services I received with Carley every time I come see her with my bank account problems like making personal changes with my compromised bank accounts and even helped me to avoid scammers and stopping them from from hacking into my bank accounts. I was fooled by this scammer to make me believe someone has charged my account by a large amount of cash and got all my personal info from my bank account. Carley right away told me that is a scam and reassured me she will do everything to stop this scammer from taking over my identity and bank accounts. She even told him over the phone( my phone where this scammer called me to do what he wants me to do) that I am not doing what He me to do and she told him you are a scam and we know that. Warn him not to call me again because his numbers are blocked from my phone. I was so afraid when this happened to me and she made felt good after that. Chase was my first bank since high school. Although I chose to close my account because they didn't offer me any credit opportunities while I was younger, I came back because of their superb customer service. After building some credit for myself, I came back. I have been to other branches because they were convinient, however the other branches never went the extra mile for me; even neglecting to get the job done right. Today, I was moved to write a review because Ken went the extra mile for me. I joined the military back in December. Through all this covid-19 craziness, I am not allowed to go on leave and 70 miles away from the closest Chase branch. Being in a sticky situation, I decided to give my home branch a call. After speaking to Ken in the morning, he worked around my schedule to do the research on my behalf and give me all necessary information for everything I needed to do. I want to thank you again for remembering my problems and pointing me the right direction, Ken and previous associates that I have worked with in this branch. Awesome team at this branch! The staff here are a bunch of useless turds. I showed up with the expectation of opening up a checking account and walked away highly disappointed with the lack of customer service. I walked in at 5:15 to open an account, there was only one other person ahead of me. At about 5:50 they approached me telling me "they couldn't help me and i would have to come back". What kind of bs is that? If they knew there was a possibility that they couldn't help me, they should have told me from the start or recommended i go to another one of there branch offices. I've been going to this Chase recently. It seems to be on the way from work according to Waze. The lot is shared with other businesses, but the Chase building is by itself. Visible from the street, it's really easy to see. Lot of parking spaces so you should be fine with that. They have a small lobby but it's feels like a really nice office. They have coffee for those patrons, and they do their best to help you with whatever you need today. The tellers are nice and courteous. At times the lines can be a bit long but that's not unusual for a chase. All in all a solid location to do business. I will come back again for sure. There are a few ATM's outside and they have one of the newer ATM's inside. read more

Have to call several times for my 'holds' to be credited back to my account, even after the Hotel had cleared my account. She recommended i go to CVS and get cashier's check then come back to deposit that - WTF!!! I hate driving out and waiting in line at a bank when there are easier ways to fulfill my banking needs. However there are times when you must visit a branch. This particular location has provided exceptional service and by far is my favorite Chase branch(I don't even live in Cerritos!). I have never had to wait in line more than a few minutes. Also the staff is very friendly and will approach you to help you get you done and on your way without making you feel like just another account. How do you write a review about a bank without getting angry? As if giving them free money through the Federal Reserve emergency loan program wasn't enough, they're starting to charge us for checking again! Putting that aside, this bank is actually pretty nice. It used to be a Washington Mutual before Chase bought up the remains of WaMu's carcass and they've done a pretty nice job cleaning the branch up. They removed those annoying security doors they used to have, where only one person could walk in at a time. They've modernized the interior, giving the entire banking experience a face lift. I rarely head to the bank for anything other than the ATM machines, and I've gotta say their ATM machines are slick! You can go online and configure your ATM preferences so once you stick in your PIN, you can choose to do a quick cash withdrawal with or without a receipt, based on your online preferences. Service is about what you can expect from a bank - pretty average. The days of a banker knowing your name are remnants of a time long past. Nothing too spectacular about this particular branch, but I give it a decent score for the facelift. read more

I really don't like banking with chase but I give it a 3 here because the service is good and it has a drive up atm. I rarely go inside. I usually just come here to take quick cash out of the atm. It's smaller than my usual chase bank that I go to. At least this one doesn't have that annoying metal detector doors where you have to wait until the next person passes through. So I go to get a loan and it was the worst experience of my life. Being a first time homebuyer, I met with the loan guy 4 times prior to agreeing to lock in a rate. I asked him to explain all the possible fees, and if they fluctuate. The guy doesn't work wed. so we agreed to meet thursday per his request. So frustrated because I submitted so much paperwork and wasted so much time, only to have the guy try to throw in a $1200 charge on the day i was suppose to sign. This branch is not good for business banking. Just for couple hundred dollars bill to change, you have to make a appointment for it.

We went in for a service that we thought would be a long and involved process, but our teller made the process quick and simple. On top of that, we had gone into a competing branch earlier in the day with our dogs, however we had to leave because they only allowed service animals. This Chase branch was very dog friendly and the manager welcomed our furry creatures with open arms, and even offered them dog biscuits! But then thats not the problem the problem is first Joanne helped us out we came back she passed us onto CARLEY because she was busy and then i found out that she wrote the WRONG account number and put my check into someone else's account WTF is that really? your just going to be messing with peoples money and the the manger tries to stay calm and act like she fixed every but NOPE she made it worse so i found out that chase changed my pin number without even notifying me so I've been calling chase and going in for days because my card wouldn't work.... over the phone the lady said it wasn't activated thats why it wouldn't work so i activated it and it still wouldn't work so i called in again and they told me the pin has been changed. I NEVER CHANGED MY PIN. i don't know what your doing with other peoples account idk if its chase in general or just this branch but they messing with peoples account. This isn't funny and i am wasting my time just because one girl at the bank didn't know how to do her job.
