It's ok , I be remembered when i would come here , there was one teller who used to always tell me the money is short when i would put a deposit in my mother account , i couldn't stand her attitude , she make me feel like i dont know count money, mine you this was in the mid 2000's , and i would always count the money before i would go to the teller, I personal think she was pocketing the money , I'm pretty sure at end of the day her cash register , would be over when the manger counting it end of the day . This location is located on Flatbush avenue & church avenue , I usually go to the branch on Nostrand Avenue & Church Avenue . usually when I come here I usually do A.T.M transactions , but other wise I wouldn't mind coming here some of the tellers are pretty cool Very convivent by the MTA transpiration : Subway: 2,5-Train. I live very close to this branch, and the men there act like they're the principal or something, and you're 'this' close to being sent to detention. I will go to a branch many miles away (and do) rather than go right around the corner and deal with their weird, unkind, bossy nonsense. read more

It doesn't matter what time you arrive at this bank you will always face a line if you have to go to the teller. Everytime I arrive there usually only 2 tellers open although there are several booths available for other tellers to work, particularly with a large crowd. Unfortunately, the tellers seem to be in a race with molasses to see who can move slower. Its obvious that they are trying to force everyone to use the automated machines. I have no problem with technology but sometimes I need to speak to a teller. When I do my private banking I never have a problem. I believe that is for obvious reasons. I will say, Ive never experienced bad attitudes from the workers. The private banking staff are extra helpful, friendly and capable. This bank operates like any other bank but if you choose to go here make sure you have time and patience. read more

I had pretty much a carbon copy experience of the Flatbush branch as the previous review by Danny B. On my visit myself and other customers made complaints to the abundant staff (who were not working the counters) about the situation. The young lady I spoke to first ignored me then eventually, displaying the mental alacrity of a lump of wood, informed her manager that the natives were getting restless. Said manager promptly disappeared from his office... This branch, and by extension this bank, does not respect it's customers and appears to be wilfully mismanaged. It would be hard to create a clusterfuck like the lack of service in this place by accident. PS I rang chase customer service and made a complaint about my visit to this branch, It was followed up a few days later by a nice phone call from customer service who informed me that the branch manager would be calling me about my complaint, never heard from him... read more

Worst bank branch ever! Went to make a deposit in the morning took 45 minutes...Where is the manager? No one knows! Don't bank here period. read more

Horrible! Some guy just opened an account under my name at this bank location. Chase never stopped them or alerted me and now my accounts are drained. How are you even allowed to operate? I'm calling BBB and reporting this all over social media and every Avenue I see fit. read more

Banking at the NYC Brooklyn Flatbush branch has become a joke! 30 minutes in line to see a teller. why have only 2 tellers for 30+ customers? Chase at one point had 4 tellers behind the glass helping customers with their account but have since removed 2 of those staff to no longer help customers directly but now instruct them how to use NEW SMART ATMs located inside the bank. To add to the craziness they still have a business line so that cuts the number of tellers that deal with "normal accounts" down to ONE TELLER!!!! One teller for business One teller for "Normal Accounts" TWO tellers walking the floor instructing people how to use New Smart ATMs If you need to do any business at this branch expect to wait at least 30 minutes to speak to a teller with access to your account. Unless you want to withdraw/deposit money from a ATM. And to add another kick in the butt when you speak to the staff and management abut the line they will literally shrug their shoulders!!! read more

This branch is very unprofessional. The general manager should be ashamed. This branch is very slow and not welcoming. The employees seem to not really care about the costumers needs and wants the waiting list is always sky rocket because of the slow movement. This branch is a joke compared to all the other branches in New York City. I wouldn't give this branch any stars if I could. No one is at there desk the employees just play around and flirt with each other as the day goes on. Absolutely disgusted! read more

I have been to many chase branches. Some good and some not so good. But this branch by far has consistantly been the worst. I have never had a positive experience here. The lines are always long. Which could mean that it is just busy. But even when there is a short line they take forever. The tellers are sometimes nice, sometimes they really don't care and you can tell. The help desk is the worst. It is annoying to need help to ask for it and not get it while a number of their employees where standing around chatting. They are unorganized, poorly staffed and their staff that they do have is undertrained. they never seem to know what is going on or what to do. read more

Chase clearly scraped the bottom of the barrel when staffing this branch, starting with the manager who hides in his cubicle all day while a nonstop clusterfuck ensues at the teller windows. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Beware. read more

Wish I had read reviews before going in here this past Tuesday. I had to request help after waiting 30 minutes to see someone about a simple transaction - opening a CD account. I was kept there close to an hour after closing time, with one more customer still waiting for what seems to be one rep on duty. To say the staff and security guard on duty were highly unprofessional is an understatement. The female rep completely ignored sign-in book and casually approached a man - with whom she seems to be familiar - that came in and signed after I did. They chatted about some sort of confusion he has encountered and assuming he was there for a quick transaction, I reserved my objection when they proceeded toward a cubicle. After waiting close to 30 minutes and with closing time fast approaching, I inquired whether or not I would be seen. I pointed out that the client with whom by now the rep is casually chitchatting inside a nearby cubicle, came after I did; the guard shot back "you should've said something". The rep was overheard calling out "I didn't know" and finally strolled out with the man some minutes later. To my surprise, they walked toward the back of the bank and stood there to continue their chitchat. When I was finally addressed, the rep made zero effort to acknowledge the lengthy wait time and skipping me in the first place. She took her seat and casually asked what I was at the bank for - even though my reason is detailed in the sign-in book. She had little to no information on CDs and when I had enough and was ready to leave, she misinformed that I would not be able to open the account online on my own - transaction had to be done at a bank location. I later completed a Google search and found out she was completely wrong. The rep did express regret for not being able to answer a basic question and supposedly called the CD department to get the answer - to no avail. I assumed perhaps this branch is slated for closing b/c the level of unprofessionalism was incredibly blatant, but not according to prior reviews. I will not return! read more

I'm was dissapointed with the service I recieved from this bank when I went in to open a checking account today. When I informed one of the service customer representitves/greeter I was there to open an account the first thing she asked me was if I had a us passport or green card to prove if I was a permanent resident. I informed her I was a U.S. citizen and did not have my passport with me. She informed me she would need to go speak to the manager to see if I can proceed with me opening an account. After a short wait I was called over to another help desk represenatives to whom I explained I wanted to open a checking acount. After a few questions, she proceeded to tell me that she couldn't open a checking acount for me because my job didn't have direct deposit and I would inncur a 12$ monthly fee if my checking account balance was below 1500$ and it wouldn't be fair to their customers to inccur a 12$ monthly fee. I told her that I was fine with the fee and I would bring the account over the monthly fee minimum after the account was opened and I deposited my tax return check. She looked at me unbelievingly and said she would need to speak to her manager. When she returned she shook her head with a sympathic frown and said she could not open a checking account but offered me some sort of a secured bank card account with an occuring 5$ fee, which I turned down. I told her I was willing to leave and return with the 1500$ deposit if that would satisfy her opening an account for me. She tells me the daily balance can't go under the 1500$ minimum which I confirmed I would satisfy the requirement. Again she gave me an I don't believe you look and said I can return with the 1500$ deposit and speak to the her manager. I asked her if she can speak to her manager since I didn't want to waist a trip only to be denied. She returns and says that the issue is not the starting deposit amount but the fact I needed to keep the day to day balance over that amount, which I already confirmed earlier I was willing to do. Frustrated and dissapointed, I thank her before I get up and leave. I guess for whatever reason chase bank didn't want my business that day but to assume I was lying when I told them I would meet the minimum checking balance requirement was dissapointing. read more

I work for a company that has the misfortune of having a business account with this branch. Everyday I deposit and make change and have to now be careful of which teller to use as some of them forgo the archaic practice of ID for a business deposit. My ID has an expired date(Nov 2016) my identity has not changed, my address has not changed only my ability to drive a car has changed. Yet this will not allow me to do what I do every single day, today I showed them my UK driving license(there is no expiration on a UK license because you don't get robbed every 5 years like here)but this apparently is not valid(even though I already checked with Chase what can be done both with a expired license and a foreign ID. However the most unhelpful disgraceful bitter woman(I assume she is a manager because her aloofness was astounding) decided that I needed a lesson taught and refused the deposits, I really wish I got her name as I hope that when and if our business close a very lucrative account, to move to a bank that offers their valued customers a service, they understand why. read more
