That was my biggest mistake because as of now a month and a half later, the paperwork has been lost and I just got a call saying that they cannot find the paperwork. Which means a great deal of anxiety on my part as to who has my information with my name, address, phone number, Social Security, etc. What kind of damage am I now going to be experiencing because of this. And even worse than that, they take no accountability for that as they should be at least offering to cover credit monitoring for me I will be looking to withdraw all my monies that I have with this bank that I have been dealing with for over 40 years due to this experience and lack of accountability! Has parking in the back but is fairly small parking lot. This location has notarization service but they will not notarize any document that doesn't have a "box" for notarization which means if you need a legal letter notarized this location will refuse to notarize it. Also could not provide a medallion guarantee seal for brokerage asset transfers to Merrill even though I've had a banking relationship with BofA for over 20 years. Locations is probably OK if you don't need notarization of uncommon documents and medallion guarantee of any forms. Chase did it with no issues but with this experience I decided against transferring more assets to their subsidiary Merrill Lynch.

She said that the IT support tea, was unavailable during my visit to the bank, but that she would get to the bottom of the problem and call me back. Today I received a call from the bank with a full explanation of what had transpired at the retailer locations. I was pleasantly surprised at the quick explanation of what had gone wrong at the retail locations. The bank also assured me that if the problem should continue they would issue me a new card free of charge.

The reason for this review is the stellar service I have been getting for the past ten years from the Bayside Branch which is now at 213-03 Northern Blvd, Queens, NY 11361. From the manager to the rest of the workers there I have received wonderful and PERSONAL service. They actually know my name when I call, never had that happen before from a bank. Even though it was not their fault in a recent check order via a third party they quickly fixed the problem for me and followed up to make sure I was satisfied with the results. To sum up, they are the best of the best for providing personal help with my banking needs and are always there to lend a hand when needed. Been a loyal customer since 1973. Put several hundred thousand 2 years ago in IRA CD's paying 2% -…read moreupon maturity this month, I asked, in an effort to be loyal, if they had any rates above 1% - advised could get 1.5% at another institution - could they match? other than pitching same old annuities they had a zero competitive CD offering. I advised the folks at the Bayside branch they should expect authorization to transfer all but around 35k (which I still hoped would find some offering from FSB - still trying to be loyal) to another institution. They did 2 transactions which involved a signature, check and licked envelopes for which they promptly charged me $25 each. Considering the piss poor rates and non-existent service they offered - I found this offensive. Spoke to John Buran's office (CEO) -tons of lip service - got my branch rep - agreed they should waive but.. powerless - finally got a call from an administrative assistant from the Bayside branch - guess the branch manager was very busy doing something else. She quickly advised ALL banks charge a fee for an institution to institution transfer - WRONG - I advised I have never been charged - Capital 1, Ridgewood, Bank of America and Fidelity to name a few....again lots of lip service so .....BUYER BEWARE - since at some point you will probably need to move money from this bank and it is much more desirable to do a bank to bank transfer - they will hit you up for money - calling it a FEE - - Translation - $25 per transaction for taking your money out of their Bank - FSB doesn't like that - sort of a penalty you don't deserve - they forgot you kept a ton of cash for them to use while they paid you less than inflation. I'm glad they showed their true colors cause I had every intention of putting more money in when they got around to becoming competitive - you know that's not happening - so for $50 they may have lost half a mil...very silly Remember when Banks actually cared about customers? FSB is the reason we despise Banks and Bankers
