The bank staff knew their customers by name, they talked as friends, they could even bring in their pets, which were also known by name and given treats. The bank manager handled the setup of my account personally and I left feeling as though I was seen as a person, not an account. I am getting all the services I would get at one of the major national banks, including online bill payment and debit/credit card, and I have the satisfaction of dealing with a local community bank that did not accept TARP money. I would encourage anyone to move their money from their national bank accounts to this community based (and Community FOCUSED) bank.

Unlike local banks such as the credit unions and Bank of America, Chase continues to open its branches, including this one. No wonder Chase is the largest bank in the United States. Once one walks in, the branch clearly has a modern layout and one is immediately greeted. I was very impressed with the level of customer service. At the front of the branch, it has 3 very modern ATM machines that have touch screens. They dispense $1, $5, $20, and $100 bills, unlike most ATMs that only spit out $20s or maybe $10s. My only complaint is that it took me about 20 minutes to see the teller as there was only 1 teller available and the customer in front of me took a long, long time. They said they usually have two tellers working at a time but because of COVID, to keep everyone socially distant they keep it 1 customer at a time. This branch was no exception....we took my mother there three days ago, since it was the only Baltimore-area branch with a notary available on that day (a Saturday). The notary - Sami - was very friendly & helpful, the teller - Keith - was very friendly & sweet-natured, and the manager (whose name I don't remember) was also very friendly (I complimented her on her two wonderful employees).
