I have been in this bank for business accounts three times now since the shut down of everything…read moreand when I set up my account both business and personal was wonderful. NOW I have been in three times and called and left messages for Vice President Ashley Westerfield four times requesting help to pay an invoice to a client and still no call back and left my name and phone number with the front bank tellers as well. STILL NOT A CALL BACK and worst part is my client is still waiting to be paid because I cannot perform this task without bank staff. I AM PULLING MY ACCOUNTS BOTH BUSINESS AND PERSONAL FIRST THING TO ANOTHER BANK I cannot afford to loose clients because I dont get a call back from my own bank to set up payment... So disappointed with the latest service at this branch.

BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE…read more Think twice before opening any account with Genisys Credit Union. I opened a high-yield savings account several weeks ago and have regretted it ever since. I deposited a large sum to qualify for a promotional CD offer--which disappeared the moment my account was opened. Then came the real headache: Genisys made it nearly impossible to access my own funds. Their website is useless, and even getting my new account number required a long wait on hold. When I finally reached someone, they refused to provide it, telling me I had to wait for a "welcome letter" via snail mail. I needed my account number NOW in order to access my funds. They forced me to jump through more hoops just to retrieve basic account info. There was no digital workaround. Even after I linked Genisys to another bank, they blocked outbound transfers--effectively trapping my money. These tactics aren't just inconvenient--they're deliberately restrictive. I've never experienced anything like this with Alliant, NASA FCU, Popular Direct, or NexBank. Genisys clearly prioritizes retention over transparency. Their policy of impeding access to my own money was time consuming and unnecessarily difficult. Customer service clearly isn't a priority. After finally closing my account and having my funds wired back, I received a phone call offering me the original CD deal that was no longer available. That's rich. After all the aggravation and time wasted, I said absolutely not. Too little, too late.
