I wasn't able to finish in time, and they never gave me a full refund. I had to fight for months to get a partial refund. Next, I scheduled my AHA BLS CPR here (because I had to) and the billing wasn't working as well as the registration site. It is such a headache to work though Columbia safety. I'd rather drive to Spokane or Yakima.

They offer a variety of two year degrees and offer affordable classes for people transferring on to four year schools. The office personnel are not very good at dealing with the public. They seem to forget that we pay their salaries and without us they would not have a job. They are not very efficient or helpful with your concerns. I would suggest handling as much of your issues online that you can. They don't deserve any stars for customer service. They campus is kept clean. There are projects going on constantly to improve amenities. The ambiance is generally quite easygoing. Students range from post high school to seniors but average age seems to be early to mid twenties. The biggest problem seems to be parking at prime class times between 8am and noon. Taking that into account they deserve a half star. The faculty is generally very knowledgable in their respective subjects. The technical trade departments are in touch with current trends in the work force and seem to have many connections in the community. The professors in general care about students that want to work hard and are willing to take extra time to help with learning. The tutor center usually has very competent people staffing it. If you apply yourself they go the extra mile for you. All in all it's a solid three stars

My daughter was able to first visit Hanford High School on a half-day visit. Hanford is a school…read morethat boasts 1500 students when her K-8 school only housed 415, collectively. She was paired with a high school alumnus of her K-8 school and attended the morning half of her classes with her. What an eye opening experience! She immediately took to the French teacher as a visitor and to this day is in her third year of French as a junior with Madame Havelaar. She very much enjoys tennis at Hanford and drama. HHS has an avid theater program that invites middle school kids for a summer day program that culminates with a beautifully put-together show. This gives the current theater high schoolers a chance to exhibit their leadership and teaching skills to the bright-eyed middle schoolers for a week. As parents, we are happy that our daughter is happy here.

My daughter loves this place and I have them to thank for potty training my daughter when I'm held at work trying to provide and house and home for us. If you must work and you need a dependable, loving, caring atmosphere in which your child will learn good manners, how to eat correctly, learn to enjoy reading, singing, dancing and how to share, this is the place to take them.

I have been working in Childcare for almost a decade, and seen my share of great and horrible places. The horror stories I could tell you. But here the new director is working hard to make this the best daycare in the Tri-Cities. She is making positive changes, bringing in skilled and passionate staff, and making hard decisions. I see we still have a ways to go, but if I had to send my kids to daycare this would be it. You can drop your kids off here knowing they will be safe and loved, learn and play, explore and be creative. I'm proud to work here.

My children have benefited from the attention they give to their students and the expectations they set, both behaviorally and academically. The teachers work very well with parents and go above and beyond to ensure that each child is successful. The program is fun for the children as they learn social and behavioral skills needed when they begin kindergarten. Their teaching techniques are research based and the wealth of curriculum they incorporate exceeds basic letter and number recognition. Students who attend Noah's Ark Preschool are very lucky, and parents of those children are very grateful for the hard work these teachers put into the program. Welp, I went back to middle school to.....cross country ski!…read more While in the midst of a rare winterblast here in the Washington desert, I thought I'd write a lil' somethin' somethin' about places in my hood to carve in the snow. So yeah, this school's field and track area are huge and offer some decent places to play around when we have a few inches of snow. It's mostly flat, but there are a few declines to slide (or fall down, if you're like me). I sometimes just come here to let my dogs run around, too---especially when there's white stuff on the ground.

She does a great job with routine, teaching kids how to be independent (potty training, pouring water out of a small pitcher at snack time), and incorporating play in all of their learning. She is awesome about planning ahead and communicating with parents.
