The teachers are so wonderful - I can personally vouch for the magic of Mrs. Anderson, Campbell, Parkman, McElroy and Blankenship. The co- op has existed for 50+ years and I periodically meet grown-ups around town who light up at the mention of it and say "I went there!" with a big grin. The curriculum is play based and rich in fun and foundational tactile experiences, they have a lovely outdoor play area in a protected courtyard, music time each class and they do wonderfully unusual but age appropriate projects with the kids ( making root beer from scratch, carpentry, a take apart day where kids get a chance to disassemble things like keyboards and toasters). The preschool shares a facility with West Side Church and warmly welcomes families to join in other church sponsored activities but save for the "thank you words before snack" (grace) the classes are completely secular and a very comfortable for families of any belief.

My son went to West Side Preschool for 2 years and he loved going there. I was really happy to…read morefind a co-operative preschool that allowed our family (parents/grandparents) to be helpers in the classroom. It was a great way to see how the classes were run and what they did during their time there. All the teachers are so loving, and my son was more than prepared to start Kindergarten. Plus since it's a co-op the cost was very affordable! Highly recommend!

My daughter was able to first visit Hanford High School on a half-day visit. Hanford is a school…read morethat boasts 1500 students when her K-8 school only housed 415, collectively. She was paired with a high school alumnus of her K-8 school and attended the morning half of her classes with her. What an eye opening experience! She immediately took to the French teacher as a visitor and to this day is in her third year of French as a junior with Madame Havelaar. She very much enjoys tennis at Hanford and drama. HHS has an avid theater program that invites middle school kids for a summer day program that culminates with a beautifully put-together show. This gives the current theater high schoolers a chance to exhibit their leadership and teaching skills to the bright-eyed middle schoolers for a week. As parents, we are happy that our daughter is happy here.

She is 4 and this is her 2nd year. She knows colors, shapes, and can count past 10. She brings home her projects and tells me what she learned. She loves it when the "stretching girls" come and teach the class how to stretch and exercise. She loves her teachers. She feels safe. She takes about a 90 minute nap every day. Every kid has a cubby to put their coat and backpack. They have outside play everyday (except during extreme temperatures.) They celebrate holidays and the kids birthdays. It's an energetic and fun environment! The staff has been very good in communicating issues that arise. They will call me if my kid is sick or if they have a concern. They notify via email regarding any contagious bugs going around in the daycare. And they also notify parents of changes in staff. The staff has been kind, warm and gracious. I feel that they truly care and love my kid! Children must be potty trained to attend. Staff do not regularly assist in bathroom. I have had other experiences in this community and lemme tell ya, this place is one of the best. I value Sweet Pea Academy. I would recommend their service!

I chose T Enterprises based on feedback I found online from previous students. The instructors are professional, and knowledgeable about the material they are teaching, and they have all spent time behind the wheel of a tractor trailer which I think is important when teaching ppl who have never chose this profession before. Ms. Maki, and her staff continue do an outstanding job with teaching new, and experienced students(like myself) the latest information to ensure that you are prepared to take the test, and be a safe driver on the roads. I would encourage anyone to choose them before choosing any others in the area.
