I have used the Laundry Basket several times since living nearby. What prompt me to do a review was the fact that I will probably be using it more often since the change in my current relationship status(wife has a car I don't, she left and apt washers are unreliable) and the fact that there arent many pictures on the other reviews. Let's start with the hours. They are perfect. If you've ever sat on front of a store waiting on it to open you know what I mean. I can go almost as soon as I get off work and be done before the heat of the day starts b@ating me over the head. First impressions walking in, the place is clean well organized and for an older business well taken care of. There are other laundry services if you need those like drop off washing and ironing. The restroom is clean and well maintained although the toilet in the men's restroom seems to have some issues. The climate control was near perfect unless you chose to sit right next to the windows which of course coupled with the sun produce more heat. I would suggest tinted windows. Theres a vending machine and although I did not use it, it appeared to be in working order. They do have a TV which during my time there seemed to be tuned to a Family Feud marathon. Theres a prize vending machine for the kids which seems kind of old and out of place(should definitely be replaced with a pinball machine or a couple up to date arcade games) but in my lifetime I learned its best to leave the kids at home when going to the laundry mat because I was one of those kids that couldn't sit still at the laundry mat growing up so I know not much has changed because theres very little for kids to do if anything. However, I would suggest letting the kids help wash and fold the clothes to let them see that their clothes arent washed and folded by the the laundry fairy. I did not have the need to interact with the staff so I can't comment on their helpfulness nor job knowledge or attitude but judging by how well kept and maintained The Laundry Basket is I'd say theyre part of the reason why. Bottom line if you don't have a washer and dryer at home and your laundry room in your apt complex is suspect and you're looking for a place to wash your clothes you can't go wrong with The Laundry Basket.

You would have to load funds in order to get the free wash. No thank you! Spent .25 for every 5 minutes to dry. The dryers weren't drying well, so I spent $2 to completely dry each small load I had.

Not too bad of a jump really, 60 cents in 15 years? I've never really had any issues with them doing anything wrong or making any mistakes with my clothes. They are one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest in town. The customer service is good. The turnaround is quick. 15 years, 60 cents and counting, and I'm still happily using this cleaner's services and will continue to do so. Also, I see they clean alot of military and law enforcement uniforms, so they must do a good job. Also, they won't take a credit or debit card for any job less than five dollars, so bring some cash with you.
