Nice quaint place! My friends and I came here for their 9.99 lunch deal and everything was straightforward. We came around the time they opened and luckily got a table because closer to noon it quickly became busy so there was a line forming. I haven't had much Indian food so everything was fairly new. I got a House salad, Naan bread, two types of rice (I can't remember what they were called), some kind of fried potato, and the Butter Chicken which was really good. Overall, a pleasant experience and would come again!

This review is NOT about their lunch buffet. I came here for the first time but have had experience with Indian cuisine. I ordered the lamb biryiani and the chettinad chicken. I give this place a high 3 and I would come back if I wanted just average, local Indian food. The biryiana was the weakest of the 2 things I got because it just wasn't as flavorful as I expected it to be. It just tasted like plain rice in some areas, but In Other areas I was hit with flavor. I guess maybe mine was not properly mixed? The parts with flavor was good and I wish I had it through out the whole dish. The chettinad chicken on the other hand was fragrant, spiced, and seasoned well and it's what makes me want to come back and get it again.

It's a high 3 star. If the food was hotter, it would be 4 star. But it always seems just lukewarm. The chai and rice pudding are delicious and my toddler loves them. I love the chili chicken and the eggplant.

    I. Love. Indian Food! Now, I may not have the most distinguished tastebuds as far as knowing good/bad Indian food, but they do tell me that this buffet is firrreee! It hits most of the things you're looking for in an Indian buffet; fresh naan, several curries, masalas, paneer dishes, and of course, butter chicken. Only thing missing for me is my fave Indian dessert, galub jamun. Elite tip; they have a Friday to Sunday dinner buffet with an extended menu not seen on their weekday lunch buffet.

This place was soooo good for their lunch special. I tried so many different things and they all were amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Things started to get busy around noon but it's not too loud. It's a good place to have a nice lunch with conversation.

So we tried this place last Sunday because we wanted Indian buffet and two other places that we used to visit on Rochester road are still not offering buffet during lunch time. Place was pretty crowded, you sit where you want and servers bring you water and glass. The rest you need to take from the buffet station (plate, napkins and utensils). I liked that they offer separate section for vegan / vegetarian items. There were quite a lot of vegan choices when we were there. The buffet station was a little dirty and there was water dripping from the ceiling next to our table. Overall the food was pretty good, not the best Indian flavors but a solid option of you crave buffet and nothing else is closer. The flavors were nice but not too spicy. I prefer my Indian food to be more spicy. One issue that my husband experienced was that the chicken tandoori was cold. They need to improve heating system for things that are not saucy so the temperature goes down really quickly. After you're done you pay at the counter. Currently weekend buffet is at $15. We may return if other places continue with their policy of not offering buffets anymore since we did enjoy the food.

I ordered take out but this is probably the best butter chicken I've ever had. It's a pretty typical dish and my personal go to, and I feel like when a place has good butter chicken, it's indicative of a great rest of the menu! I read some of the reviews that mentioned a buffet and I will definitely be back to check that out and try more menu items! The dining area looked really pretty as well when I walked in. And someone immediately got to me and quickly gave me my food.

We are the only ones here, mostly carry out orders and surprise surprise, it's snowing outside, steadily, again. It's under new management the past couple of months. We were told to sit anywhere we liked, we took a seat in the front, nearly in the corner. Staff is quite nice, accommodating, so friendly too. They offer to give us some samosas on the house, but we are not doing any gluten or bread carbs and avoiding milk in our food for the next 6.5 weeks. No rice or naan today either. We decided to order their mixed veg kadai masala, Chana masala, aloo palak, chili fish, butter chicken with coconut butter and made us some bhindi masala, even though it's not on the menu. We ordered the entrees medium plus spice. The chilly fish was nice, a good amount of pieces of fish, similar flavoring to the Manchurian, not a sweet. The aloo Chana masala tastes a bit different here, still good. I like the bhindi masala is quite good. The aloo palak is soft and mushy, the spinach with chunks of potatoes. It has good flavor. Not sure what I was expecting, but it was good. The veg kadai masala is decent, a good mix of veggies for sure. The butter chicken is much better with the butter, it's not bad with the coconut, it's just different. Less buttery and creamy sauce, still sweet though. The food is all quite flavorful. The service is stellar, they are all about customer service for sure. Food is all so yummy too. I can see why it's so busy for carry out.

    Meat samosa and lamb biryani.

My second time here and once again impressed. They had meat samosas on special, so had two of those. Great flavor and spice level, though I'll admit I prefer potato samosas. For my entree I had lamb biryani ordered spicy. They did not disappoint in spice level! Very spicy but very flavorful! If you want Indian level of spicy this is a great option!

Super good butter chicken! Buffet is affordable and offers a good variety of dishes. Wish the chicken wasn't served with bones.

I'm not sure what was better - the food or the service! We arrived just as they were opening at 5 PM. My husband went with me And we were looking forward to a nice dinner out. I did mention to the waiter that I was unable to eat dairy and he made a few great suggestions for us. He was really friendly and helpful. I ordered the samosas as an appetizer and then channa masala for dinner. Hubby ordered shrimp jalfrezi. Both came out quick after we finished the samosas. I loved the spice of the channa masala - spicy but not too hot. I'm looking forward to going back at lunchtime one day because they have a buffet. I think that's going to be a great opportunity to explore the menu further.

Everything is in here lol. Tandoori Chicken, Chana Masala, Chicken 65

For a kid with sensory sensitivity, this was the perfect timing to dine in. I was a bit sad to see the restaurant so empty and hope it was largely our timing. However, I can't negate the construction and horrible economic conditions as questionable contributors. The space is vast, clean, and today was peaceful. Generally, it's a lively atmosphere, cricket and kids in the background, and lots of gathering and conversations. The staff is always friendly and warm. One of the staff made sure to come by our table to check in mid-meal. It's a simple gesture and it makes me feel warm and welcome. We ordered gobi manchurian, masala dosa, veg fried rice, a mango lassi for my son and sugar cane juice for me. My son's favorite was the masala dosa- a comforting blend of flavors and textures, sambar was absolutely scrumptious. I absolutely inhaled my gobi which is one of my favorite dishes. Perfect spice/heat level, well balanced and nice crunch from the bell peppers and onions. The veg fried rice was a safe third dish in the event my son was craving something familiar, and it ended up being satisfying but our least favorite of the order. I will say it was prepared well and I love the threads of vegetables throughout. Mango lassi was a nice buffer for some of the heat for my son, and my sugar cane juice was a surprisingly savory/sweet quencher for the ride home. Oh. And a scoop of butterscotch ice cream for the boy. Overall I am a loyal Neehee's fan and look forward to many more visits.

I ended up getting their Mysore Masala Dosa and Dahi Samosa Chaat. The dosa was good but didn't really have that kick or the authentic flavor I was hoping for. The sambar was too watered for my taste. The samosa chaat however checker off all the flavor boxes. The chaat was tangy, but not too spicy and absolutely delish. They have a lot of seating that makes me think they probably get crowded on weekends and holidays.

We were surprised to see a lunch bar as we have not eaten at a bar since COVID. The selections looked plentiful and delicious so we decided to try it. I filled my plate with many savory rice, vegetarian and meat dishes: The flavors were varied and wonderful. The garlic naan was made fresh when we sat down and brought to our table. It was amazing: flavorful, thin and slightly crispy. We deducted one star because the temperature of the food was not hot enough for our taste, especially for a food bar. I also thought several of the chicken dishes had too many bones though they were tasty. The staff were all attentive and pleasant. The samosa is maybe a bit too heavy and doughy. The potato and peas are mashed inside. The cilantro chutney is good, spicy too. Butter chicken is tasty. The chick pea salad is just fresh and yummy. Dosa was okay, not loving the tomato or coconut chutneys so much. Sambar soup is good. The dal makhani and Chana was not for either of us. Makhani is super buttery and runny. The Chana has a very unexpected taste and look, the sauce it's cooked in is quite brown here. The dal tadka, korma and Gobi were just okay. Both lentils are super runny. The korma isn't too bad. Their version has tofu in it. Sauce is good. Not a lot of veggies to it. Gobi was crispy, but their chili sauce is not so good. My husband usually favors the Chana masala, but he wasn't fond of their version so much. Would skip the Chana, Gobi and the dal makhani and maybe even the dal tadka next time. Service here is good.
