Then they told me to go into the bathroom to rinse my mouth. When I looked in the bathroom mirror I was horrified!!! My teeth were all drilled down to nothing!!! It was like I was in a horror movie with monsters. My teeth still bother me to this day! I should have sued them and my employer at the time who sent me! Then the same dentist said my back tooth had to be pulled, and as he was pulling it out, he leaned all his body weight down on my mouth yanking and yanking! I never in my life had a dentist ever do that! Then a few days later my teeth were hurting. Here he cracked the tooth next to the one he pulled!!! This dentist and his staff are a horror show!!! Dr. Mariam Azim sat in front of the screen looking at my child's…read morex-ray and confidently stated my child had a large cavity that needed treatment as well as several areas that needed Hydroxyapatite painted on them. She did not show us on x-ray or during oral exam where this cavity was. I questioned the cavity because my child previously had their back teeth sealed, she stated, "it's between the teeth so you can't see it". They recommended nitrous oxide in case my child was nervous about dental work. Then when trying to schedule this appointment, I requested all of this be done at once as my child would not be able to eat for 3 hours prior to the procedure meaning she'd miss school and I needed to make this work with my work schedule. The lady scheduling was very rude and said that would not be possible and that they needed to make 2 appointments. I clarified with her - they would need nitrous for both appointments, she said yes. I scheduled and left very suspicious and frustrated. I made an appointment at a different dentist for a second opinion. That dentist stated the x-rays were poor quality and difficult to see but that nothing of concern was noted. The new dentist proceeded with a high-quality x-ray and oral exam and found nothing. Recommending regular flossing. I tried for a month to obtain all of my dental records, going back and forth with the operations manager Sharon Wright-Moskowitz. Again, very rude and acted like she was clueless when sending me partial records over and over again. In the progress notes, Dr. Azim wrote "Clinical findings and recommendations at this time- Refer to patient's odontogram and treatment planner for treatment plan." which of course Sharon did not include in anything that was sent. As well as another note stating what was seen on x-ray "required treatment documented in treatment consent". I simplified it as much as possible that I wanted the entire record, including anything that this document is referring to. Again, clueless and not willing to read what I was requesting. The notes also included false notes about education provided about healthy snacking and staying away from certain snacks. I can say other dentists in that past have done this, she did not; but I am sure she billed the insurance for "education". This practice is not only rude and unprofessional, but they are also committing insurance fraud billing for services that are not needed and putting children through unnecessary procedures for financial gain. I have been taking my children to this practice since 2018 and never had issue with any of the other dentists we have seen and therefore never had to deal with the horrible office staff to this extent. Take your children anywhere but here.

Clear and concise with communicating all medical needs, potential issues, appointments, etc. Very affable, friendly, best bedside manners, etc. 2.) My four-year-old with sensory issues was shown what they were going to do, and how they would go about it, ie, tickle fingers with the polish thingy etc. It helped that big brother went first. They also had him sit in the X-ray chair with a bite wing afterwards just so he wouldn't be as potentially fearful for when he eventually does the actual bite wing X-rays. 3.) The main area for cleanings and checkups is open with an adjacent play area. Even the main counter in this area is child-height. 4.) They have a book to help peg which days your child will have off of school while scheduling that includes all the local school districts. 5.) Totally paper free. This means they respond to all text messages. 6.) The laughing gas is hella cheaper than what I was paying previously. No scary numbers in the 100s. 7.) Pimped out goodie/treat baskets. 8.) A UV light to negate germs that live in the hand drier. (It's built in.) 9.) A bigger than life light-bright type toy in one waiting area. 10.) A coffee/tea station with the good stuff (including stevia). 11.) TVs mounted overhead with all the program options a child could want. 12.) Parents are invited to be in the same room, even during fillings. I think that's about it :-)

Today is January 27th and they have not yet sent the information to the insurance company to get the authorization for the crown. I was told that they couldn't sent the request in before Thursday. Some of them also try to aggressively push for services / procedures you don't need - seek a second opinion when in doubt. Negatives: their billing department runs an absolute racket with shady practices. They try to charge you upfront prior to submitting to your insurance, lie to your face that insurance denied the claim (it was denied because the "claim" was integral to the procedure and no separate payment was applicable), and try to charge you beyond insurance negotiated rates by calling it an "upgrade". Take a printout of your insurance EOB and compare with their itemized invoice prior to paying anything!
