I found this nail salon while shopping in the strip mall next to Publix. I needed a full set and a pedicure. There was no wait and they took me immediately. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to. They had an assortment of colors to choose from and offer designs if preferred. I generally stick to classic pink and white with gel because it's a classy look. My nail tech offered me a glass of Chardonnay while enjoying my pedicure. I don't understand why these reviews are so low!! I have gone here a few times and I'm always pleased with the results. I would post a picture of my nails but I genuinely can't walk out of the salon and into my car without messing up at least one nail. That's my clumsy cross to bear. I'm honestly surprised of their overall rating. This place is one of the best salons I've been to. This was my second time coming after my mother-in-law recommended them. The staff is very nice. I personally like a quiet service because I'm not a big talker. I put a headphone in, listened to my audio book, and relaxed. I got the deluxe pedicure with a hot stone massage and a gel manicure. My mother and I went here a week and a half ago. We got basic gel manicures and pedicures. They showed me the packages and I pointed to $40 package for my mom and I. My mom is in a crow boot and has limited range of motion on her foot, but they didn't say it was a problem. At the end of our visit, they charged us $220. The owner said my mom's was $65 but she got nothing additional done and they did not say there was an up charge due to her foot having limited range of motion. Less than a week after getting my nails done, they began to crack and chip. It seems that my mom and I were up charged due to her injury. The young lady who did my feet was very good and kind, but the man who did my mom's feet constantly made her feel like she was a hassle. it would have been fine had they said something to begin with. read more

I was very disappointed with experience here. Upon arriving, I requested an SNS manicure and just a polish for my toes. Before I even picked out a color, the young man started removing my old SNS polish. So it was rather awkward trying to search through the basket to find a color. He seemed very annoyed the entire time...shaking his head and sighing loudly. I understand good help is hard to find these days, but this was ridiculous. After I paid the $80 he didn't even say thank you. I've gotten good service here before but I didn't recognize anyone working there today. read more

Horrible!!! Rude from the second i walked in the door. And it got worse from there. I should've left when I realized how rude everyone was. This older lady with glasses was going so fast with the drill and didn't care that she kept hitting my skin. At one time I had 4 bleeding cuticles!! And they charged me $45 for it. Gentlemen who looks like he is a teenager had a horrible attitude towards my mom when he did her nails. Constantly sighing when she asked for something, and was barely talkative. The lady I got for the sns did it super rushed and most of the nails are crooked, I also asked for a coffin shape and it was more of a square shape. I was going to Polished by Hotshots for the longest, was super loyal to the company. Unfortunately someone had drove their car through Hotshots and a few of the restaurants, including Polished had to temporarily shut down. So had no choice but to find a new nail salon! So I looked around for something a little more close to home, and found Charm Nails Salon! I've never been so satisfied when leaving a salon. The overall interior was new and modern. Everything was super clean and neat. John, was my nail technician, he was super kind, very detailed and wanted to give me exactly what I asked for. I was at this salon today and experienced one of the ugliest customer experiences ever. A girl came into the salon wanting to get her nails done for her birthday and out of no where the nail tech (don't know his name) got up and started cussing the girl out and telling her she wasn't going to do her nails anymore. The worst part is every single of the workers in this facility did not react or try to calm the nail tech down, they all continued to do their work on their clients and the girl started to cry. the manager ended up finishing her nails and did a terrible job. He didn't do them correctly, it got to the point the girl was so upset, someone else in the salon ended up paying for her nails because they felt bad. I do not recommend this salon whatsoever. Being new to the area I visited this salon on a whim and without doing any research. As the tech was putting on a new set of white tipped acrylics, I was unsuccessful in my attempt to have her fix the unevenly shaped of the set she had put on. The more she filed the worse it got. Moved here four months ago from California. I've used this place several times in the past four months. As well as my daughter, two granddaughters, daughter in law and my husband. Sometimes good sometime not good. But the reason for this review is to caution people about this nail salon and an employee and how the owner DID NOT handle the PROBLEM. Long story short, my daughter and I went in For mani pedis. My pedicure was the most PAINFUL pedicure I have ever had. I was clenching my legs and repeatedly saying OWWW very loud. She never looked at me or acknowledged me at all. My daughter was furious. Said I should have stopped her and told owner. I felt everyone in the place had to have heard me. My toes hurt still and it's been a few weeks. I went back in to have my fingernails polished with another girl. I told her what happened. She said I needed to tell the owner and that I'm not the first person complaining about her. She called her over and had me tell her what happen. I couldn't really understand her but she assured me I would not have her again. I said more then once that I don't want my daughter or grandchildren to ever have her either. She assured me. A week later my daughter in law was here from California. My daughter and I took my daughter in law and my two granddaughters in. I told the owner this was my family. She acknowledged. Daughter in law for a pedicure so she sat in pedicure chair and my 10 and 12 year old granddaughters for a fingernail polish ONLY. My daughter and I ran next door to the grocery store to pick up a birthday cake. When we went back THAT woman was doing one of my granddaughters nails. Long story short. My 12 year old granddaughter left there crying and her fingernails were cut so short including the skin around her nails. She said the woman told her her nails and cuticles were horrible and was showing other employees the stuff coming off on the tools. She said she felt abused and embarrassed. My daughter was LIVID. I had words with the owner explained we were never coming back. My daughter was so angery she was crying and told the woman and owner she should never be doing nails and that she was abusive to a child. The owner told us she was only suppose to polish not cut. My granddaughters both said that another employee told her you're not suppose to be cutting and the woman replied I KNOW. We feel it was very deliberated since I had complained to the owner of the painful pedicure I had. This woman should not be in this line of work and the owner did not stand by her word and continues to let this woman work her nail salon. I do not recommend at all. read more

I'm glad I have finally decided to stop going here after today's visit. It is convenient to my work, so I can pop in on my lunch hour, but even that isn't enough to keep my business anymore. 99% of the time, the employees are rude and unwelcoming. It's like their doing you a favor by performing a service that you're paying for. Today, I came in for an acrylic fill-in. I requested a coffin shape. The woman helping me was pleasant enough at first, but she kept filing my nails in a square shape. I asked several times, as nicely as possible, if she could shape them into a coffin instead of square, and she just kept giving me square. Every time I asked her for fix them, she sighed and looked increasingly annoyed. Which is totally the vibe I want when I'm treating myself to a spa treatment like a manicure. The tops of my nails were all crooked, which I also asked to be fixed. Finally, after she kept filing them and filing them and still making them slanted, I asked for the file to fix one of the nails. This upset her, so she yelled "YOU CAN JUST DO IT". I gave her the file back and asked her to finish up, without painting my nails, because I intended to just go home and shape them myself. She got more frustrated and kept saying if I want that shape she can do it, which was clearly going to end in her giving me a square shape again. I'm not even sure if she charged me the extra amount for special shapes like coffin, I was just so frustrated that I paid and left. First of all all i wanted was a full set acrylic nails. i asked for coffin and the shape wasn't to my liking so i asked if he could redo them( in a polite manner) and the nail tech ( a male nail tech i forgot his name) was so rude about it. he told me i was too picky and cussed me out infront of the entire nail salon. i was sobbing crying infront of all the customers and he still tried to make me pay and tried to take them off of me. I have gone to Charm several times now. Their salon is always very clean and the staff is very accommodating. Last time I was there, I rushed in at 6 pm hoping to get a Mani/Pedi before my cruise the next day. I had two people working on me at the same time and I couldn't have been more pleased at the results. My gel nails are just starting to wear after 3 weeks. Prices are standard for the area. I've been going to Charm Nails for a while now always making an appointment ahead of time with the same technician. I called to make an appointment last Tuesday for Saturday and all seemed fine. When I arrived I was told Tim left over a week ago to go to truck driving school. I was not pleased that they were not honest but agreed to another technician. She never said one word to me other than to offer me water because the technician next to us offered her customer one. All of the technicians spoke loudly across the room in their native language while customers all peered at each other clearly left out. THEN when she's finished in perfect English she tells me FIFTY DOLLARS. $50 for an acrylic fill is WAY OUT OF LINE. Lied to, ripped off, ignored, and the work was not fantastic. The woman doing my nails noticed that she had messed up and continued to paint over them so I drove back to get them fixed once I realized it was messed up.
