Ambiance is pretty good, kind of cheap looking though. The bar is fast. The servers are very slow. They seem overwhelmed. No one even greeted us after we were seated for over 15min. We had to stop one of the other servers to get us some drinks. We even went to the bar to order. Don't come here thirsty or hungry...it's going to be a while. Food was great, especially the giant pretzel!

I would have given them a 5 star BUT I had to remove some stars because I was on hold for nearly an hour total (over the 4 calls I made because I kept getting hung up on). The ambiance is nice and the food and drink Manu is solid. There are a lot of drunk people, so if that's not your vibe this isn't the place.

Finally got to check out Charm'd! If I could describe this place in two words I would say lucky charms. A legit box of lucky charms, I guess it used to be called Deuces in Wrigleyville. I had SO MUCH FUN! There was a fountain, ball pit, (two levels), little leprechauns on umbrellas in the ceiling. It was great! Sadly there was no cider, and I couldn't get a milkshake (F you coronavirus), but it was amazing. The dj was great, there were lots of areas to sit. Only reason why I don't give it five stars is because I couldn't get a shake, and there was no cider so I was stuck with truly. Didn't eat anything else, but I highly recommend going before it closes.

    Flight of beers!

**If you visit this pop-up bar this upcoming weekend, there's a good chance you may have to sign up online before arriving -- check on their website beforehand, just in case, so you're not disappointed if you can't get in!** I've been to Deuce's and the Diamond Club several times over the years, so when I was waking by yesterday and noticed it'd been transformed into this magical St. Patrick's Day pop-up, I had to give it a try! I pulled up the Charm'd website as I walked up, because I know that a lot of these pop-up require tickets beforehand, but the site was being glitchy, so I just took a chance on getting in without a reservation. Luckily, the girl behind the check-in podium let me in as long as I gave them my email address. Plus, it was about 5:30 on the Thursday before St. Patrick's Day, so it wasn't insanely busy inside just yet! There were a lot of ~Instagram pic opportunities~ in the courtyard where I entered, but I'm not really great at posing for photos and it was SO windy outside, so I trudged to the main building. I truly did enjoy the colors and lights as I walked through the entryway, but I was honestly more excited to sit down underneath giant gold coins and gaudy lights on the ceiling above my table as I drank beer! I sat down and waited for my friend to arrive, and while I perused the menu, a sweet waitress came by and dropped off a mini skillet filled with Lucky Charms. I was immediately ~charmed~. I really like gaudy little touches like that, and this one got me good. I also ordered a pesto sandwich to eat (which I'd imagine is just something off the normal Deuce's menu and not something particularly made for the pop-up) and was brought water in a green Solo cup. I appreciated the bar's attention to detail to make everything as green as possible. When my friend arrived, she ordered tater tots, and we each studied the menu even more closely because there were so many unique drink options to choose from. From colorful mega shakes (that are also available non-alcoholic), to cocktails crafted just for this pop-up, to Irish beer, of course, the drinking possibilities here are endless. Since we were headed to another event afterward, we both decided on each getting a flight of beer. All of the options available for a beer flight were very Irish: a variation of Irish reds, stouts, and a classic Guinness, of course. The waitress was a little confused when she brought out our flight glasses, because they were all together on a single serving tray, but I think if they do this pop-up again, it may help to get those cute little wooden flight trays/boxes to help keep the beers organized and sort them according to how the customer should drink them (from light to dark, I think it is?). This wasn't an ~issue~, just a suggestion from my friend and I! We really enjoyed ourselves and I think the quality of this pop-up was pretty high in comparison to a few others I've visited over the last year. There's an entire second floor that we didn't even take a look at because we didn't have too much time, but if this place has even more to offer than we experienced, I recommend stopping by if you can -- Charm'd will live at Deuce's and the Diamond Club through the end of March 2019! Woo!

Very cool experience for St. patty's day. The food was good- sliders, wings, nachos. Drinks were pricey but cool!

I always love the concept and atmosphere of pop up bars, but they usually aren't worth the cost! The decorations were done really well and we had great service! We ordered the milkshakes (without alcohol) and they were $15 each (+$5 to add alcohol). I think it was fun to see, but it's definitely a novelty that is worth stopping by for the picture!

Cool decorations, crappy music, and poor service. I had a good time playing bingo with my friends though. Our waitress disappeared for 20-30 minutes at a time and never checked up on us. The food was good, we shared the Irish nachos which were good. They have some cute milkshakes, we didn't try it bc it seemed over priced. It's a cool place to check out and get some fun pictures.

    Christina. Great service.

Came here for just drinks while walking through Wrigleyville on a Tuesday at 8:00pm. Fun place and they go crazy with fun decorations for almost every occasion throughout the year. Jameson is $5 any day. Cool bar that loves to celebrate occasions and very reasonable Jameson prices!

    Pretty fun popup bar experience.

Bought a ticket to get in to Charm'd the weekend of Saint Patrick's Day and was neither unhappy or happy with the experience; it was an average/"meh" experience. The decorations were cool and actually pretty impressive, but it got old and wore off quickly. Drinks were strong, but some were too sweet. Additionally, their menu is not clearly labeled and the size of the drinks were misleading. In the end, it caused a few people in my party to order the largest size of the Irish Mule, which ended up being about the size of someone's head and around $50 for one. Waitstaff and service were helpful, personable, and attentive. However, overall, if you are one that is in to pop-ups and like the novelty, I would recommend it; just go during one of their days where you do not have to pay.

I stopped by recently after passing by many times and this couldn't be further from my experience! At around 6:30pm on a weeknight, it was pretty deserted. I think some music in the background could have helped the vibe a bit. The staff gave us our choice of seating and was friendly and attentive throughout. We started with the dry rub chicken wings with buffalo sauce and the cheese curds. I was very surprised with how good both were- the chicken wings were extra crispy, not too greasy, and seasoned very well. The cheese curds were also extra crispy on the outside and delightfully melted on the inside. The marinara sauce served alongside was average, but they went super well with the creamy ranch dressing. For mains, we ordered the corned beef with cabbage and chicken pot pie. Both were really outstanding! The corned beef was slow cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce and flavorful mashed potatoes. The chicken pot pie was also hearty with a great flavor and homemade crust. Overall, this is a great spot to get some food off of the usual track. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

They also sometimes have live Irish music which I haven't fully experienced but have overheard as I'm leaving and seems like such a vibe. I love their Brussels sprouts, hummus, spinach dip, cheese curds, and Reuben.

Every time I visit, the decor never ceases to impress. It's classy but unpretentious and you can tell folks are there to have a good time. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Luckily, we were able to snag seats at a bar before a table opened up around 9pm. A note that they don't take reservations (but I kind of wish they did!), so this isn't the place to go if you're in a rush. They had a special seasonal menu going for the holiday, and we started with the reuben hush puppies. While they were more like croquettes, they were extra crispy, cheesy, and juicy with the most delicious thousand island dressing. I wish they would offer this year round! For mains, we ordered the corned beef and buddha bowl. I really liked the horseradish aioli that came with the beef- while the meat could've been more tender, it had a great flavor overall. The cabbage actually tasted pickled and the carrots sweet; non-traditional, but tasty! The buddha bowl had a very wide range of veggies and perfectly cooked rice. I could drink that spicy peanut sauce. I appreciated how large the portions were, which definitely softened the price as we left with plenty of leftovers. All in all, we had a great experience- if you haven't checked Wilde out, I highly recommend doing so!

Pro Tip: if you can tolerate a large quantity of fish, visit on a Wednesday for their AYCE Fish & Chips. I've had many hum drum AYCE dinners that are drab and only fill you up. Not this one. It's a great meal and a great deal. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous, as was the Bangers and Mash. They've created a Haggis Burger that has to appease Americans, yet, still be haggis. A tall order since most would hate "true" haggis. Fear not, it's not your grandfather's haggis, it is a tasty burger. The fries were great but I'd recommend the Tattie Skins. We tasted so many different malts it was hard to pick a favourite. No foolin' they had island malts, highland malts, speyside and even a couple from the lowlands. Easy to spend over two hours in this public house. We did. Can't wait to get back to this town. This is a must! 02/26
