We did the 1.5 Hour Historic Uptown Neighborhood Tour. It was both informative and fun. Son was very nervous on the Segway but the guide was patient and took time to make sure he felt comfortable and able to catch up. Definitely recommend! I personally think it is much more interesting than riding tour bus. I do suggest having more signs outside the building for directions to meetup.

Nervous me trying to figure out the "brakes" on this thing.

Great fun! I've never been on a Segway before so they took the time and gave me instructions and a short video. Afterwards we were given helmets and began our tour of "Uptown" Wonderful experience and would definitely do it again!

The ride was excellent. Being a first time rider, I was nervous, however the training and practice before the ride is too notch. David was a wonderful tour guide. We had a lot of fun.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in Charlotte and as a present I made reservations for a segway tour while in the city. It was months in advance and very easy to do online. It was for a Friday morning at 9am. We got to the meeting spot exactly on time and I was pleasantly surprised when it was just the 3 of us. Our guide, Rod, was awesome! We watched a short video. He took us outside on a corner to practice. At first, hubby and I both were a bit nervous but it took just a couple minutes and we became pros! Rod took us all over and gave us an amazing tour of downtown Charlotte. I had no clue Charlotte was so historical. He even took us to prime photo ops and took our pictures! He told us he was a local. You can tell because of his knowledge of Charlotte and it's history. We even got to see Michael Jordan's old apartment! Awesome trip! This is definitely a MUST!!

Holiday Lights Segway Tour is a must in Charlotte. We did this 90 minute tour from 6:30p-8:00p arriving at 6:00p for the safety video, paperwork and operational instructions. Rod and Isaiah were our Tour Guides. We visited Fourth Ward historical holiday decorated homes, Truist Park with holiday market and ice rink, and BOA Stadium with massive real Christmas tree. Rod provided lots of interesting and informative historical Charlotte history, people and places. This a something you should not miss during the holiday season.

Charlotte tours offers an amazing service and perfect location. You get the best of everything in this tour: adventure, tourism, and history. Our tour guide James was extremely friendly and was very enthusiastic. He made our experience 100 times better. We toured almost all of the Carolina's and this was definitely the best part of our whole trip! We parked in the Bank of America garage which was the most expensive but they did offer E.V. charging which was handy! We paid $25 for parking and paid for charging as well. It says it's free for 3 hours but it did charge is 10 cents per kilowatt (about $1.48 for a few hours). I recomend this experience for anyone going to Charlotte! We will definitely be doing this tour again when we come back!

We drove into Charlotte at 2pm looking for a last minute tour opportunity. Whatta find! Carol called back with our guide secured and by 3 we were on our Segways headed out with Paul for a delightful tour pretty much tailored to our interests- history, gardens, architecture and restaurant recommendations for dinner! He was so informative and knew all the spots for great photos as we cruised through each ward and amazing parks n neighborhoods. We loved his dinner recommendation too! Thank you both!!

Booked a 90 min tour to show the city off to my out of town guests. Didn't quite know what to expect, especially 1) I myself have never been on a Segway before and 2) living in Charlotte for 20 years makes me think I'm an expert in showing folks around. I was totally blown away at how easy it was to pick up using a Segway (you get a nice 30min training session before the tour starts so plan accordingly). Also allow time for waiver signing and all that jazz. They were very good about calling me the day before to let me know especially since Taste of Charlotte was opening that day so there would be some street closures. Aside from being stressed out-we were coming in from Matthews so the commute on Independence sucks so bad...luckily we left early enough and were only 8 or 9 minutes late. But still late... I hate being late. Anyways, there was one other gentleman in our tour group so I felt bad for the late start. We quickly went through the orientation and got to training. I'm so sorry but I never got the name of our tour guide... He was very good and knowledgable. We had an assistant, Prince, who brought up the end of our tour group and gave us a lot of encouragement for first time Segway users. I'll leave a little mystery to the tour so that everyone takes it (no spoilers). But we traveled throughout uptown... First, second, third, and fourth wards. Believe me, I definitely learned a lot of history and saw some things I had not seen in my Charlotte residency since '96. The shop is located in Overstreet Mall and not a lot of people get there (save for Uptown workers) so give your self some extra time to access the Overstreet Mall from wherever you park. It's right at the end of the skybridge that connects Founders Hall and the Omni Hotel buildings, next to the shoe repair and key shop. We only spent a few minutes in the shop for orientation (video), but it looks like they sell merchandise there... hoverboards... and maybe some affiliation with the b-cycle program (maybe you can sign up for subscriptions here for bike sharing station around town). After orientation, we went downstairs through the Omni parking garage to the segways where we had a small orientation on the side walk until we were all comfortable with operating the segways. Overall a great tour! I would definitely do it again (I'm a big history nerd) but it's an easy way to see the city without too much walking, plus its fun! I was just relieved I didn't fall on my butt or break any teeth.

Husband and I having fun on our tour!

Our first trip was to the Amalfi coast, never could I imagine a more wonderful experience. Every minute from arriving in Rome, to arriving in Positano for 8 nights, and returning to Rome was amazing. Our journey director was outstanding. Our fellow travelers were fabulous, a group of 12. We would explore the coast from this beautiful spot in Positano, each day setting out for adventure in a lovely Mercedes van. We were mostly in places where we saw few Americans, we ate at wonderful restaurants, and had an absolute blast. We had a wonderful blend of active and down time, we learned and saw so much, and laughed every day ! Amazing! The next trip was Florence, Cinque Terra, and Tuscany, amazing as well. The hotels and villa we stayed in were top notch, our journey director amazing, another perfect trip. This was a more active trip, but we enjoyed every second, we felt like we saw a very real side of Italy, not just tourist spots. The Time we spent on each spot was magical. The charming town of Lucca and the Villa in Tuscany were top of our list. We are not organized tour people, but the small group, perfectly curated Nada's trips are beyond. We could not recommend them more highly.

He is not, he is extremely annoying. he talked much too much, even during the so-called quiet time. He played to the women near the front who laugheed at everything he said. One day he was chit chatting with the driver, while our great driver was in control of a large vehicle with 35 people aboard! Do not distract our driver with pointless conversation. He shoved his religion in our faces, a captive audience, for three days. Yes, the website says that each day is started with a devotion. But he started with a prayer, added a "devotion" that sounded like a sermon later, grace before each stop where a meal was involved, played gospel music on Sunday morning, followed by a religious movie that no one was watching, The people around me talked a lot and simply raised their voices to talk over the movie. The noise level was stressful. To top it off, after a stupid bingo game where everyone was getting a prize, I did not get a prize. (I did not care, for the record). So he gives me a plastic Jesus and tells me I can be saved. Does he know what my religious beliefs are? Arrogant, presumptuous, insulting. He persisted in grilling a young boy - the only youth on our trip- about the denomination of his church. The boy was not answering and Gary did not let up. We were told to "read the itinerary" if we asked questions about times. He called me out by name over the mic when I asked. And then changed the departure time once he thought about it. When he was using the mic, he would stand facing the back, and often stand at my row, taking a half step into my already very tight leg space. When his leg was against mine, I moved as best I could. So did he. I regret not grabbing that mic and calling him out on his obnoxious behavior. Too many silly games, too much talking, too many stand up comedian attempts. I just wanted to talk to my friend and read my book. The bus, despite being new - the guide has us guessing how much it cost. seriously? - has bare bones amenities. The seats are equivalent to economy plane seats, no back support, tight leg room, no WiFi. I unfortunately had a front seat but the people in the back said they could not hear most of what the guide was saying. The food was abysmal - truck stops, food trucks, and Crackerbarrel where I had the worst meal of the three days. The itinerary was fine; I don't expect to love every stop on a set itinerary tour. Our driver was great - Darren was efficient, professional, and very pleasant. CT will never see me again.

The McGill Rose Garden absolutely delivered on that. This is truly a beautiful venue--lush flowers everywhere, winding walk paths, and plenty of places to sit quietly and just take it all in. It's the kind of space where you can slow down, clear your head, and quite literally stop and smell the roses. I found it to be a wonderful spot for reflection, a casual stroll, or simply enjoying nature without needing to leave the city. One of the things I especially appreciated is that you can enhance the experience with a visit to the wine bar onsite, Rosie's Wine Garden, where you can grab a coffee, cocktail, or glass of wine and then wander the grounds at your own pace. It adds a relaxed, almost European feel to the whole experience. A quick heads-up: parking can be a bit tricky, as the entrance is off a busy street, so just take your time and be patient when pulling in. Once you're there, though, it's well worth the effort. Bottom line: If you're looking for a small but charming botanical-style garden in Charlotte--a quiet place to reset, reflect, and enjoy the outdoors--this is a lovely little gem. For me, it checked all the boxes and has become a welcome respite in the middle of a busy day.
